Kevin Matisyn made my late teenage/early teenage years better. I felt like I could relate the pain and emptiness. Still to this day, EB is everything to me.
Those first two albums were incredible

One of my all time favorites of Evans Blue.....of course with Kevin.....(to me Evans Blue just isn't Evans Blue without him....)
ohhhhhhh man his voice!!!!! had the pleasure of seeing him twice in concert with his new band Parabelle...and if you haven't checked them out yet.....you are sooooooo missin out!!! they are AMAZING LIVE!!! soooo friggn awesome!!!! But this song.....and the line....."I WANT YOU...FOR WHO YOU ARE....SO YOU CAN STAY INSIDE YOUR SKIN......" OHHHHH gets me everytime!!!! sooooo in love ;)
I completely agree with you. Evans Blue isn't the same without Kevin, his voice is what really made me get into this band, not to mention the lyrics. The new guy is okay but not that good...Kevin's new band is just as amazing though. 😘

This happens to so many bands that get popular, their music goes down the drain. Most likely because the "emotion" in music driven by monetary gain is nothing compared to actual emotion portrayed through music written to express and move
