The 'basic' strum of simple 16th notes 1 e & a and timing it with the metronome ensured that I was keeping time and was a great tip. It took about 2 weeks for me to get this under my fingers and into my wrists :).
When i hear the first few seconds of ur video. Omg, the tones, the melody that you made came out from the uke just make my heart burst. It was so magical. I absolutely love it. I am damn gonna learn this

Loved the lesson Brian, thank you! What are your thoughts on muting the 'e' '&' of the first beats (by gently lifting your left hand on the fret) instead of skipping the notes? Do you think it would still retain the same musical integrity?
