WAR IN UKRAINE: Zelenskyj in trouble - arms deliveries declining! Biden wants end to war
In an interview with WELT, political scientist and conflict researcher Carlo Masala comments on the current situation in Ukraine. Masala stresses that Western support is gradually waning and that Ukrainian President Zelensky is now forced to present a peace plan to US President Biden. Biden does not want to end his presidency with an open war, but wants to be able to demonstrate a peace process. At the same time, Ukraine lacks military material: only four of 14 newly formed brigades can be equipped. Carlo Masala, Professor of International Politics at the University of the Bundeswehr in Munich, sees a critical phase for Western arms deliveries to Ukraine.
