Carmen, love the videos especially the boardwalk. We are moving down in July. Where do you park where it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg when you visit the pavilion?
Love all your videos, as a new resident, is there any free parking near the Boardwalk? I know about the parking sticker program for the parking garage, but what about street parking?
Glad you enjoy them! This video should answer your question and yes there is free parking in the area if you don't mind walking a little bit. However keep in mind the parking that is currently free could change as they redevelop the downtown area. You mentioned in the video that you would never stay that close to the beach because hurricanes. I feel the same way, which makes me wonder how far do you live (driving) from the beach where you feel comfortable if a hurricane should hit the area? I respect and understand that you don’t want to share exactly what area because of privacy concerns. I just want to know many minutes does it takes you to drive to the beach from your home.
About 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic. We definitely still have impacts from storms and it could be catastrophic where we live, but I just couldn't stand to be oceanfront.
Pavilion amusement park and the actual Pavilion to, should have been updated and renovated. The Pavilion was most iconic part of all of Myrtle Beach, was there many times in the 70's with my parents and took my own kids there many times in the 90's and early 2000's.
should I come to Myrtle Beach with Work and Travel program for a $12/hour + tips job? I'm watching all of your content about Myrtle Beach thanks for the videos!

👍👍👍👍👍
Prime season would be to noisy and it is to close to the water to reside 24/7.
Very true!

It's a shame it wasn't updated and renovated. It was truly a landmark!
