So he's a starter, they're not. But he couldn't make it as a _good starter_ on the Titans Raiders or Jets. He's carried by his weapons. What you say about the rest of the positions & depth is true. It reminds me of this excuse made by 'analysts' who were speaking From Theory & not any analysis done. No one has yet explained why Mike McD abandons the run late in games. This excuse I heard for why he abandoned it late in the season was (valid) injuries to the o-line. He couldn't get the blocking he had previously used from them. Does that mean he got _NO_ blocking from them though? Or that he couldn't make _any_ other run schemes work? Without footage showing what the starters could & back-ups couldn't do, this is 100% conjecture. But even if true, it speaks to the lack of depth. If false, it speaks to the lack of depth of Mike McD's play-calling.
