Uyo city has good roads however it falls short of being tidied and organised. The grasses are overgrown, the roads are sandy, no walkways, no bus stops and pedestrians bridges. Then the issues of street tradings have not been addressed. Waste disposal needs to be put in place. People still drop refuse on the roadside which is not nice.
Please, take this comment as one that comes from a good place: I think a pre-recorded video without repetitive commentary would have been much better than you have done here. I much prefer your night view of Uyo as it was far better than this. And that video was not very clear. But then, this is even worse cos, most of the time, the video quality is terrible to put it mildly. I think the best video that I've watched on your channel is your daytime video of Ikot Ekpene. Please reduce the commentary and focus on making higher quality, clearer videos as this will earn you the likes that you've been soliciting for throughout the 1hr duration of this video. Now, on what Uyo looks like in 2024. I can categorically say that Uyo is by no means the neatest city in Nigeria as the media likes to portray. Uyo has a lot of refuse all over the place. The grasses are essentially bushes in the city. And many roads are in need of a visual makeover as they are tired looking (Abak road, Oron road, Udo Udoma amongst many other roads in the city) all look tired to be honest. The Godswill Akpabio stadium may be the best in Nigeria but it's certainly not the best around West Africa. Check out what Senegal has and come back. It's time to stop all this hype and demand even higher quality projects. Cos all I'm seeing here is "praise and worship" of the past governors of the state. Even if they did well for the times they governed. We should commend but not overly praise. Please. Umo Eno is slow with rolling out initiatives to visually improve the appearance of this city. Although I'm looking forward to the Arise Park under construction. But I can't help but wonder what is going on with Ibom tropicana and the airport international terminal building (this is especially way past due). We haven't heard of groundbreaking for the international market that was promised to Ikot Ekpene people. Eket international market is gradually becoming a relic, No news on Oron beach market and the entire Eko system around it. I don't know, but things seem slow with this current administration especially when you see what states like Enugu and Abia are doing and the fact that these two states combined do not earn as much revenue as Akwa Ibom.
Uyo city of previous years is better than Uyo city of 2024. Thanks to the ineptitude of the current administration. Nothing depicts golden in this current administration. The commissioners for environment and physical planning need to be sacked. They are not on top their jobs.
Kufre, tell your governor not to allow trucks to be parked by the side of the road. They'll definitely ruin the road just as they did in Lagos. He can just move them elsewhere, preferably creating a park for them. Hope you remember Benin Bye-Pass, where trucks used to be parked; they have ruined that road. Note your video tends to praise one man, Akpabio. If something was done during his administration, u may succinctly mention that and not over-flooding the video with his praises. After all, he did not use his personal money to do all that u said. The money belongs to the state and not Akpabio. Concerning the airport, it was Gov Attah that started and completed part of the airport project. Planes started landing at the airport during Attah's administration. Akpabio finished the road to the airport and expanded the runway. Of course, governance is a continuum. Let the truth be told. Uyo is unkempt with overgrown grasses, and refuse being dumped here and there. Uyo doesn't have the allure it used to command in the recent past.
I can hear you well

We need companies that add value and income the state
