    Thank you for the information and review of this light. 👍
    It's definitely more on a tactical level judging by the size and design. Would be handy in the woods I think.
    Always enjoy your channel and your honest approach to things EDC, and your ever present cheerful outlook on life in general.👍😁

    Love these lights I prefer the earlier version where the back was on and side was how bride. The side always seems to turn on when I don’t want it to. I put a bit of opoxy around button so it doesn’t turn on when I don’t want. And the holsters I have lost more flashlights with than I care to count. But thrunight is awsome

      I think you can lock it out using the buttons just not unscrewing the tailcap

    Tbat skinny scout model that costs way more the BSS B5. Has strobe at 1,100 lumens, this one would be perfect on everything but they made ge defense strobe only 560 lumens, why i wonder, thats just wrong, it would have been perfect foe tactical

    I just joined today - curious, is that the Mistral Anorak that you’re wearing in this torch review? If it is, have you reviewed it? Just for the moment it’s hard sorting through all your content. Enjoying all your work that you’ve done!

      Yes, it is! And, it's funny you should ask. I filmed the content for that today (plus with the Woodsman too) which will be released tomorrow at 19:30 BST

      @@MoorlanderEDC I have been looking at both these models so I will watch it as soon as I can. I had been thinking of treating one of them maybe to make it waterproof … or, would you recommend us a waterproof poncho? I’m exploring my options. Anyway, I have a couple of days off and won’t be connected as I’m away on a short trip (3 days) on my motorbike. Thanks for the reply it’s greatly appreciated.
      Big Al

    Regarding the TN12 Pro: Has anyone else noticed that when you use the double lockout (side button and tail btton ) feature, there is a significant amout of parasitic drain?
    It doesn't seem to have a significant drain when using just the side button lockout feature alone.

      I didn't find anything like that whilst testing. Definitely interested to hear from other owners

      Thanks for the reply.
      I contacted Thrunite about the issue and they suggested I send the flashlight back to them and they will send me a replacement. That's all good but the only thing is I will have to pay the shipping cost to send it back. 😯
      I have asked them to send me a prepaid return label so they can cover the return shipping cost.
      I have not heard back from them as of yet.
      I'll see what their reply is soon.

      @@jaymes2ski123 Good to see they're happy to replace it for you. Thrunite are a pretty legit company when it comes to stuff like that. It's a shame about the return post though. It's a fairly common thing most companies to to help save on their costs

    Good EDC channel mate. ❤ What’s the battery inside? Replaceable? Thx

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  Год назад

      Hi DrDennis. It's powered by an 18650 battery. I've tried other batteries in there and they all worked as expected so looks like Thrunite have made it as easy as possible to swap out batteries if needed

    Any idea how I stop it turning on from the little button

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  Год назад

      A lot of people use the quarter turn of the tail cap method. I think there's also a lock out mode. I'll check the instructions

      @@MoorlanderEDC yes you can lock the light but it isn’t very fast anymore, it’s an absolute fail in my opinion after carrying all the other tn12s. Constantly have a flat battery because it turns on.

      Don’t have that problem with the fenix pd35 v3s side subdued button. In fact it’s so subdued the damn flashlight is more of a dedicated single mode light.
      I honestly like the User interface of the Tn12 pro BUT… the side button accidentally activating is a deal breaker for me.
      So therefore as a subcompact light. I resort to the fenix pd35.
      But the user interface is GENIUS on the thrunite tn12 pro. And the price!!!

    • @CrabbyPattydelight

      I heard you can lock it out by first doing the side button then clicking the tail switch, not sure the details, just heard that

      It's strange how quickly I've picked up some American'isms. I watch so much US EDC content it's sticking 😂 maybe a US vs English EDC language piece of content might be a laugh 😂
