One of our favourite tv shows is channel fives “happy campers”, nowhere near as entertaining or as informative as your video but a great show none the less. Lovely to meet Wills Sister and what a great charity and lovely place to stay. We can fully get behind that. So much to do there and wow when you did that walk the cracking views of Snowdonia in the distance are possibly second to none. Yay you bagged a trig, what a beaut. Your love for North Wales shines through and every person watching this video will feel your love. Job well done. We love North Wales too, just wish it was closer. We would never tire of it ❤

The train was going from the 70s ,80,90s when I used to go to Butlins,it was called puffin Billy ,it did go to the beach, shame that they took it away, and the chair lift went to the point where you were touching, lovely views , thanks ,it was great as Butlins,fond memories, lovely as haven

The caravan you guys did up was lovely, so much to offer and all the amenities people could need or want, not to mention super spacious too! I have to agree on the North Wales statement- Oh I am homesick now! The caravan looked well equipped and comfortable. It would be too busy for me at the park but I can so imagine it being a family treat. Nice to get a glimpse of Wills and his sister's childhood past. Lovely. 👌🌷🇳🇱🙋♀🇳🇿 😎

Hi all. Firstly what a fantastic caravan, those families are going to have a fantastic getaway. We love Haven sites, stayed at a few now around the country. We stayed here over ten years ago and wow! What a makeover it's had. Looks amazing. Think a few Havens have now gone to Parkdean but Trecco Bay is great (if you go in school holidays). Fantastic walks along the coast and Pendine Sands with its massive beach

That caravan site is amazing, there's so many different activities! And with brilliant weather it certainly would make for a wonderful holiday especially for families with children. I'm used to Australian caravan sites which are just a space to park your van! You stay there for the location.
It’s so lovely and feels spacious and not so ‘on top of each other’ as some sites are over here. We’ve watched lots of vlogs about Australian and USA sites and it does seem to be just a pitch and you use it as your base. Still cool!! Cheers 🍻

We have spent quite a few happy summers there when our kids were pre high school. It was always good fun, I always looked forward to going to the go Kart track just outside Pwllheli where there is also bowling, archery and gold panning if I remember correctly. Like deployed 👍

My childhood was spent here at Haven’s over every summer holiday as my mum owned a cavern up on Mountain View. And I’ve not been to the park for over 13 years. It has changed so much. But it’s nice that they have kept the old train tracks up to the beach. And the building by the lodges, when I was a kid, were kept for broken machines and other bits and pieces. But my mum told me they were old horse stables.

Hi both that looks so good since the refurbishment. We drive by it soo often but haven't been in since it was Butlins. The caravans look great near the lake and the headland is fabulous to walk on, beautiful drone footage and the Aladdin show looked fun. The charity sounds great and that super kids caravan you worked on so good and nice to see Wills sister too :) Been on the Super kids website this morning and it's so interesting reading about the caravan and its background. Yes it’s had loads spent on it and is really looking nice these days. We had such a fun day and it’s so good to think how many happy memories that caravan will provide this summer. I don’t know is the answer to the donation! (It’s very kind of you). I believe they toybox appeal at Christmas reaches all the way up to your end of north wales, so possibly donate a toy to that? This was fabulous you guys! Does Wills sister work there at that incredible site! Definitely one of the best Havens we’ve seen! It’s so bizarre we took Nick’s mum out today and she was like, ‘you should film the holiday parks they are very popular 🤣 low and behold you do it Postcard & a Pint Style! Superbly done and that walk was awesome along with great drone footage! Plus you bagged a trig! Loved this, love you ❤️

We were blessed with a beautiful day. Ok the van we were doing was not too far away from the main gates and the walk to the entertainments hub was about 7 mins - the walk from there over the bridge to the outdoor activities and more restaurants is probably another 5 mins and then the walk to that cute beach probably another 10 - so it depends where you are on the park. If you're on the dragon lake side - about 10 mins - if you're on the swimming pool side - 20/25 mins or so depending on how fast you walk! Cheers for watching 🍻

I’m watching this video lying on my bed in a caravan in Havens Greenacres caravan park. It’s very quiet and all I can hear are distant seagulls and the waves on the very close black rock sands beach. Your park looks nice, but I think I like mine more 😉
@@PostcardAndAPint it is idyllic (good way to describe it). I generally book the next caravan holiday a year in advance, because the earlier you book, the cheaper it is - I’ve booked a 5 day break for as little as £70 in the past! The only drawback to this year is the fact that the park has culled all the wild rabbit population! ☹️😢
I don't think I've seen a caravan park like it. Amazing. How big does it have to be to have an onsite Burger King? When I was younger I occasionally saw that sitcom about a holiday camp in England, Hi-di-Hi(?), and didn't believe places like that existed. You lot are certainly a weird mob. 😁 A most excellent thing you've done for the charity though!
Hahaha. Yes they do exist and there are lots just like Hi di Hi. Fun fact, I worked with Ruth Madoc in panto a few years back - she was so lovely. Also ended up rescuing her and taking her home when she played Wills theatre a few years later and got abandoned at the theatre!! You’ll have to come over and experience the British Holiday camp first hand - Japan it is not!! Cheers for watching. 🍻

The concrete left overs are not from the chair lift I searched everywhere and the lift struts were over the golf course I found an old video where the old hut was. And them brick circle things are behind the hut. We just come back from haven I was last here in 93
We think the camp was used in WW2 by the navy, maybe they're something to do with that. It's a lovely walk though along those cliffs. Cheers for watching and we hope you had an amazing time. 🍻
@PostcardAndAPint if you go on Google maps you can see the old building just off the turnaround for the old railway. It's odd how in 93 I remember the chairlift going on it and boomerang but not remember the mini railway.
I'm laughing that there was a slim chickins there. When we were in London, my son Weston was having a fit about the fact that they have them here. They are not good chicken restaurants!

If you're in north wales then contact them, if not, look around some charities where you are, you might find a similar one, or just contact haven, im sure they must have caravans on every site that are fully equipped for all needs. I hope you get sorted. Xx

That caravan site is amazing, there's so many different activities! And with brilliant weather it certainly would make for a wonderful holiday especially for families with children. I'm used to Australian caravan sites which are just a space to park your van! You stay there for the location.
It’s so lovely and feels spacious and not so ‘on top of each other’ as some sites are over here. We’ve watched lots of vlogs about Australian and USA sites and it does seem to be just a pitch and you use it as your base. Still cool!! Cheers 🍻

My favourite haven caravan site. If you fancy another walk, YR Eifl is only about 30 mins away. Definitely worth a visit.
It’s a brilliant site, we loved it. We’ve done Pwllheli beach on another Vlog about the Llyn Peninsula. It’s a really vast beach for sure. Cheers for watching 🍻
We have spent quite a few happy summers there when our kids were pre high school. It was always good fun, I always looked forward to going to the go Kart track just outside Pwllheli where there is also bowling, archery and gold panning if I remember correctly.

My childhood was spent here at Haven’s over every summer holiday as my mum owned a cavern up on Mountain View. And I’ve not been to the park for over 13 years.
It has changed so much. But it’s nice that they have kept the old train tracks up to the beach. And the building by the lodges, when I was a kid, were kept for broken machines and other bits and pieces. But my mum told me they were old horse stables.

Hi both that looks so good since the refurbishment. We drive by it soo often but haven't been in since it was Butlins. The caravans look great near the lake and the headland is fabulous to walk on, beautiful drone footage and the Aladdin show looked fun. The charity sounds great and that super kids caravan you worked on so good and nice to see Wills sister too :)

Yes it’s had loads spent on it and is really looking nice these days. We had such a fun day and it’s so good to think how many happy memories that caravan will provide this summer. I don’t know is the answer to the donation! (It’s very kind of you). I believe they toybox appeal at Christmas reaches all the way up to your end of north wales, so possibly donate a toy to that? This was fabulous you guys! Does Wills sister work there at that incredible site! Definitely one of the best Havens we’ve seen! It’s so bizarre we took Nick’s mum out today and she was like, ‘you should film the holiday parks they are very popular 🤣 low and behold you do it Postcard & a Pint Style! Superbly done and that walk was awesome along with great drone footage! Plus you bagged a trig! Loved this, love you ❤️

We were blessed with a beautiful day. Ok the van we were doing was not too far away from the main gates and the walk to the entertainments hub was about 7 mins - the walk from there over the bridge to the outdoor activities and more restaurants is probably another 5 mins and then the walk to that cute beach probably another 10 - so it depends where you are on the park. If you're on the dragon lake side - about 10 mins - if you're on the swimming pool side - 20/25 mins or so depending on how fast you walk! Cheers for watching 🍻

Have the best time. It's not ours, it belong to a charity and we just went to prepare it. It's in Snowdonia heights/view - can't remember!!! Enjoy that pizza, it's lush 🍻

I’m watching this video lying on my bed in a caravan in Havens Greenacres caravan park. It’s very quiet and all I can hear are distant seagulls and the waves on the very close black rock sands beach. Your park looks nice, but I think I like mine more 😉

I generally book the next caravan holiday a year in advance, because the earlier you book, the cheaper it is - I’ve booked a 5 day break for as little as £70 in the past! The only drawback to this year is the fact that the park has culled all the wild rabbit population! ☹️😢

I don't think I've seen a caravan park like it. Amazing. How big does it have to be to have an onsite Burger King? When I was younger I occasionally saw that sitcom about a holiday camp in England, Hi-di-Hi(?), and didn't believe places like that existed. You lot are certainly a weird mob. 😁

Hahaha. Yes they do exist and there are lots just like Hi di Hi. Fun fact, I worked with Ruth Madoc in panto a few years back - she was so lovely. Also ended up rescuing her and taking her home when she played Wills theatre a few years later and got abandoned at the theatre!! You’ll have to come over and experience the British Holiday camp first hand - Japan it is not!! Cheers for watching. 🍻

The structures on the headland are defences from when the park was used by the Royal Navy as HMS Glendower during WW11.

The concrete left overs are not from the chair lift I searched everywhere and the lift struts were over the golf course I found an old video where the old hut was. And them brick circle things are behind the hut. We just come back from haven I was last here in 93
We think the camp was used in WW2 by the navy, maybe they're something to do with that. It's a lovely walk though along those cliffs. Cheers for watching and we hope you had an amazing time. 🍻
@PostcardAndAPint if you go on Google maps you can see the old building just off the turnaround for the old railway. It's odd how in 93 I remember the chairlift going on it and boomerang but not remember the mini railway.

The camp originally was a Navy training camp, Prince Charles was trained there and the queen once visited it when it was Butlins camp.

How do you book
I think from their website. We were just there for the day getting the caravan ready for the charity. We are going to be staying in another park this year though as so far everything has been done through the haven website. Thanks for watching 🍻

@@Cherie-c8m ah ok. The charity that own that caravan are called north wales Superkids and they organise holidays for those in north wales who need holidays or respite holidays. If you're in north wales then contact them, if not, look around some charities where you are, you might find a similar one, or just contact haven, im sure they must have caravans on every site that are fully equipped for all needs. I hope you get sorted. Xx
