I absolutely love Mei Mei as an actress. She is so professional, funny, serious just an outstanding actress. I love her in this one not sure about the ML as I have seen mei mei with Yu long in so many now I'm used to their chemistry, is just out of this world. I must admit it they don't have that connection that mei mei and yulong have so i am very critical of the story. Now the story starts with mei mei going out drinking, have sex while abroad get married in a chapel in Las Vegas, then fly's back to China where that's not considered marriage. Its funny groom cannot find her then when he finds out that she is a graduate student at Tsinghua university she then says to his assistant tell them I accept their invitation as a professor in their physics department, so he can find her. And when he does, he doesn't remember her. In fact, he has knocked back her thesis 11 times and when she goes to talk to him, he knocks it back again. Unfortunately, this drama drags out way to long and loses its momentum becoming very boring. If it wasn't for mei mei I wouldn’t of watch it and probably won't again.

Ive seen multiple versions of this story line, one of which starred Mei Mei and another ML, and frankly im disappointed in this version. The bullying with the room mates went on too long, where in other versions the ML did not stand around arguing, but took action against the perpetrators. Thos was poorly directed and a waste of the leads talents…Great chemistry. Hope to see them in a better drama…
I love the acting of this pintsized beauty, and she paired well with this tall and handsome Ml. Good storylines and good acting. I loved how caring and protective this Ml was for the younger Fl. It was shameful how many times the Fl was targeted by her jealous classmates and hounded by her money seeking mother. I loved the Ml's mother who loved and the Fl and that her being pregnant fulfilled a rarity in the Ml's lineage. I wished to have seen a complete ending to this interesting story.
Does anyone know what the ML name is? I looked up Liu Lan Bo, but it was a different actor. Unless it is him and he just got surgery to look different. I know the FL she is one of my favorite FLs Yang Mei Mei.

Yes I’m being picky by pointing this out but wanted to clarify it with others who don’t know the truth on how ppl in the states or Canada are married.
