  • In this video I'll show you how to make perfect half lap joints to get the X for farmhouse style tables! This is easy to do, requires no angle measurements or calculations, and can be done on the miter saw or table saw!

    Thank you very much for the informative video, I have just finished making a consul table and had an incredibly tough time with the half lap joints at the end of each table. And watching your video makes it so much easier to understand for the next one that I make, thanks again as I really appreciate the lesson

    Great video as always! I do the same thing except I always mark T for top and B for bottom when doing crossbucks. Those intricate angles let you know quickly that your frame isn't perfectly square if you get them mixed up... not that that's ever happened to me, lol!

      I feel like it’s easier on the miter saw personally, but lots of people use the table saw. I might have to do a follow up at some point but it’s essentially done in the same manner 👍🏻
