I can't believe this song was released 3 years ago! It feels like it was 3 months ago. I'm so grateful for the amount of albums/ songs/music, Lana has given us, especially if you add the unreleased/unofficial songs. And I'm just amazed by the amount of passion, inspiration and creativity this beautiful woman possesses. She is underappreciated, like many artists are during their life, but in time she will be seen as one of the best artists, singer, songwriter of this time. I am sure of it, her music tells a real story which is not that common among popular songs now. And it is of course absolutely beautiful and inspiring. Her songs often even feel nostalgic the first time you listen to them! The sound, melody, emotion, meaning, it's just absolutely perfect.

this song speaks to me.. since i was a teenager and going into my late 20s, i was always looking for people to fill in my emptiness. i fell in love with different guys, but it wasn't enough. so, now im on a journey to healing. and this song reminds me of those guys and all the people i became friends with, all those times of being young. now its time to move on. thank you, Lana.
Third song reminded me when I was in school and geography teacher asked me to stand in front of class and answer her questions about a map. I didn't know a shit and suddenly beautiful butterfly flew into a class through the window and sat on my face. What a beautiful memory. I feel blessed.
They tried to cancel her but i’m here rewatching all these gems she made. The music which helped us all to creat memories won’t die. She’s not ur typical pop star, she made history with her genuine work.
I love how this album is just her getting to finally be happy and be herself. A lot of people complain they miss the old Lana, but we would get so tired of it if she never grew. Every album has a different feeling and emotion and I feel like NFR is just a positive hopeful one
you may call her the queen of depressing music, but she’s so much more than that. she’s literally so talented and beautiful, and some songs are just criminally underrated
A lot of people in the music industry, especially the era we’re living in, are here for the streams and numbers but don’t know what it takes to be a true artist, yet take up the title. It’s literally the first three letters. An artist is a combination of creative elements. Art is your whole being. You are soul, poetry, happiness and freedom. The true embodiment of a unique ethereal creative with a fulfilled vision. You’ve stayed true to yourself all these years and paved the way for that sadcore aesthetic which has widely been mimicked. I’m seeing you for the first time February 2020 and I’m dying to hear the voice that’s been singing to me for the last 8 years. I hold a lot of memories that are manifested through your music. From Lizzy to Lana, I love & appreciate you🤍
Out of all my favorite songs on NFR Norman F***ing Rockwell, Bartender, and Happiness is a Butterfly were the only ones to not have a music video yet, and she just did them all in one fell swoop!
Okay, y’all need to chill. They said out of their favourite songs. Though they may like all songs, not all of them are their favourites. It’s down to preference. So you really don’t need to list every song that does not have a music video because they’re not all their favourites.
Opening the Ocean Blvd 2023 tour with the lyrics ‘god damn man child, you f’d me so good I almost said..I love you’ and then transitioning straight into A&W…. What a time to be alive!
She isn’t wearing any fancy clothes, also she is barely wearing any make-up. She, Chuck and their friends are so goddamn natural and this 14 min. video clip didn’t need a huge editing or shooting crew. This is just Lana, and the proof how natural and pure she is.
I’m a metalhead but Lana is the girl I will give my time over anything else, her voice just makes me melt and her lyrics are so dark and she doesn’t give a damn if anyone cares or not
My dad always told me how great Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens and the Beatles used to be. I cant wait for the day to tell my kids about a beautiful soul called lana del rey!
“Norman fucking Rockwell” instrumentals are so evocative, the beginning of the song sounds so ethereal, glorious and heavenly... an instant classic, a masterpiece. I love this title track & I’ll always be fond of this era. NFR! forever

They said LDR glamorizes sadness and abuse , I always had deep sadness . But her songs made me feel good , it made me feel that I’m not the only one going through this . Her songs made me feel normal , knowing no matter where you are and who you are .. you can be sad .. I think that’s beautiful .
That is the main reason or goal music must exist and makes real sense. And notice that every music comes to you never accidentally. It has something to tell you. Look inside you ;)
The disgruntled ramblings of a non-native transplant? She could've plantedd a flag in Los Angeles and claim it as hers. She could say she invented Hollywood and I woulda believed it. This is a curious backstep. I love Lana. But this is atypical. Which is fine. She's earned the right to experiment. The funny thing is: the man-child is basically the second person "you" in the song video games. Instead of bringing you a beer tho she's bringing a "talk" and by "talk" I mean a 14 minute song. And by 14 minutes of lecturing i mean a "talk" .. listening to this feels like getting dumped on a blue December day in LA. And if that happened, I'd cry like a baby. Lana would be the babe that every other girl gets compared to. I'm gonna listen again and see if I hear anything else.
I haven't heard this song in years, and as soon as the music begun my heart sank. It literally skipped a beat. The range of emotions this song makes me feel is wild.

this song speaks to me.. since i was a teenager and going into my late 20s, i was always looking for people to fill in my emptiness. i fell in love with different guys, but it wasn't enough. so, now im on a journey to healing. and this song reminds me of those guys and all the people i became friends with, all those times of being young. now its time to move on. thank you, Lana.
Third song reminded me when I was in school and geography teacher asked me to stand in front of class and answer her questions about a map. I didn't know a shit and suddenly beautiful butterfly flew into a class through the window and sat on my face. What a beautiful memory. I feel blessed.
Can I sit on your face too

They tried to cancel her but i’m here rewatching all these gems she made. The music which helped us all to creat memories won’t die. She’s not ur typical pop star, she made history with her genuine work.
Why cancell?well she isnt like doja cat
Lol cancel culture doesn't work on artists with solid loyal fan bases. Lana can't be cancelled

I love how this album is just her getting to finally be happy and be herself. A lot of people complain they miss the old Lana, but we would get so tired of it if she never grew. Every album has a different feeling and emotion and I feel like NFR is just a positive hopeful one

She's much more than what the internet thinks. She appreciates the beauty of art and old stuff. Her lyrics are poetry.
This woman's music brings me back to life. Like...turns me around from preparing to give up.
“I was one thing, now I’m being another” that hits hard for some reason
Error. I have tyyyyyty
She doesn't need a Grammy to prove anything. She's already one of the greatest artists from our generation. She's already won, guys.
Whomever she is..
I agree, there is no better recognition than making a timeless album like NFR is, this album is going to live forever.

convenient because nfr came out at the end of august
Where you suddenly remember all the previous late summers and feel melancholic about everything
and you start listening to video games and summertime sadness
that simile murdered me but i still want more
It’s late summer now in Australia and can feel it now 🥲
Man - i originally fell in love with her after hearing Mariners Apartment Complex but wow - every song is affecting.

Love song & hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have dont have vids
&cinnamon girl did not either
Okay, y’all need to chill. They said out of their favourite songs. Though they may like all songs, not all of them are their favourites. It’s down to preference. So you really don’t need to list every song that does not have a music video because they’re not all their favourites.

She isn’t wearing any fancy clothes, also she is barely wearing any make-up. She, Chuck and their friends are so goddamn natural and this 14 min. video clip didn’t need a huge editing or shooting crew. This is just Lana, and the proof how natural and pure she is.

This album is so underrated it's literally a masterpiece and this woman is a phenomenon

I love that she doesn't make music just for money. She just wants to make Art
but that yummy shit gets all the attention
I'mNoTsCaRy Kim she is but if money was her first priority the way she would make and publish music would be completely different
I'mNoTsCaRy Kim if she wouldn’t make any money with it it would be pretty difficult to create new music
I'mNoTsCaRy Kim I don’t act like that. Im just saying if money was her biggest priority her promotion and stuff would be completely different. Like when every artist freaked out about their Grammy nominations , she just mentioned it in a short sentence in one of her captions or when ariana was literally posting the shit out of call me angel she posted like two pictures (probably cause she had to lol)
And I think that should be the point of making art in general ❤️

HOW CAN YOU LIVE - TISH on Spotify 💕
Where's the lie??
I am still waiting for her plastic surgeon’s number. that isn’t hate or anything. I genuinely want good work like that done on me
