Ahoy Kristin and Matt! My name is Marybeth. I’ve been following you guys for the past year since my good friend Bobby from Hollywood beach told me the brief version of how you started cruising around the world.. I also worked at margaritaville for several years lol. I lived on the hook in northlake for 2 years attempting to sail out of there. Hurricane Ian and the Hollywood PD trying to charge me with a misdemeanor for the charge of “liveaboard” led to my decision to paddleboard from northlake to Key West. My best friend and I made it to Key West on a 0 dollar budget with strangers’ kindness. After adventuring amongst Xmas trees, a captain found and chose me as crew to the Bahamas! Watching your videos while cleaning the boat we are taking made me want to thank you. You guys are so incredibly inspirational especially to a sailor like me that had to sit in northlake’s nasty water watching all the boats pass by on the ICW. Thank you so much and maybe we will cross waters someday! 🙏🌅⛵️🌊
You travelers are earth tones. I crackled a few times, my wife snorted once, this was the relief we needed east side of the mid-west, U.S. Had 350,000 dwellings, businesses, etc in our city lights out 250 power lines down, thousands of trees damaged or destroyed, electrical fires, 5million about 7 states, in total lights out since Friday. Plus one of our 100yo Pin Qaks, uprooted just couldn’t make it through 80mph sustained winds & slammed onto our neighbors home. God Speed Kristen & Matt!

When you pulled up to that mini islands my first thought was too many boats in the water and island overcrowded for me. Kinda like the three week hiatus I took from Michigan winter a month ago in Florida. Too many people everywhere, too much traffic = no parking and no fun. Oh well I guess I yearn for much quieter less populated places.
To get a good omelett, you need a good pan to start. Next control the temperature and use real butter. You don't need a lot of butter but the entire pan should be coated with a thin layer of it. Every stove top is different. The right temp will melt the butter without burning it. If the eggs are sticking to the pan it means there was not enough butter and/or the temperature was too high. If the eggs are turning brown it means the temperature is too high and you have burnt the butter. Add a shot of cold water (less than a teaspoon) to the eggs and beat them until frothy. The eggs will froth better if they are cold. The water will steam the eggs and the omelett will puff up when cooked through at the right temperature.
Thank You for a wonderful video. It was wonderful to start this Sunday morning getting to view the beautiful scenery and take a hike and a swim in a beautiful place with you. At my age this is the only way that I get to do these things anymore. However, I get to relive these wonderful memories by doing them again with you! I am just happy that all that hard work rebuilding the vessel is completed and we are able to enjoy a more relaxing life again. Looking forward to next week and that enjoyable adventure!!! Be safe.

Thanks for a really great episode you two! Love the scenery and the chance to experience a part of the world that I’ve never seen before… stay healthy and safe! Fair winds and following seas!
Matt, a tip from a fresh water fishing guide. When navigating shallow clear water, release your motor lock, and travel in reverse. You can see everything much better, and you can male split decisions to either pin the throttle to pick up the motor under its own power, or you can pop it in forward or even just pick it up. We use this method for early spring late winter lake trout trolling in Canada to not only navigate shallows but to slow our troll. Very effective method. 👌 Thanks for all the entertainment!

HOW GREAT! The Bee-Line reminds me of the Soggy Dollar Bar back in the day. Except it'a bigger. The first time I went to the Soggy Dollar it was no more than a table top bar, with a cabinet behind it. Above the cabinet was a wooden board about 4 by 6 where you pinned money and the name of the boat who you were buying drinks for once they arrived. Many an afternoon, as the sun set, the bartender would fire up some coconut husks hoping their smoke would keep away the bugs. We would order another round and watch the sunset before heading back to BRAVURA, our Hans Christian 48T. Thanks guys for stirring up some old fond memories.

I got the knife last time. With the discount I'd say it is worth it. It is heavy duty, and not crazy expensive so not too worried about abusing it.
I ordered 2 Looking forward to receiving
I went ahead and ordered 2, one for each hand.
Tried to order but credit card company would not honor as Huusk had too many fraudulent claims.
