Feeding the algorithm so more people can listen to the full version without dialogues
Liberation is probably my favorite bit of tekken music and this version is a bonus to the base

Not gonna lie. Manly tears were shed when I heard this in the story. It was at this moment that I wanted Jin to win. Kazuya may be my boy, but Jin went through hell and back. He deserves nothing but peace.

"You will be a shining star of hope."
    "You must survive."
"Believe in yourself and look to the future."
"This isn’t all you've got, is it?!"
"Your will and resolve are stronger than any other… Everyone knows this, Jin."
"You can pass the baton to us from time to time, you know."
"I hope you can hold onto your true desires, Jin."
"Sure took your time, my trump card."
    "Jin…"
"Just don’t lose sight of the things you wanna protect. Okay?"

What I like about this scene (and version of course) is that it felt nostalgic and it felt like we are also the main characters or let say, part of the story.
The way they show the flashbacks of who helped Jin in the story and how Jin build-up the courage to fight back again, feels like us when we're against some tough opponents in our gameplays and it shows how we are connected to the characters we always use in the game.
And they show us that's it's okay if we win or lose because what matters is that we never back down to the challenges we encounter.
Just like Jin Kazama, "We get back up on our feet as many times as it takes!" 🙌

This is the kind of song you listen to when you wanna slowdance with your loved one. Or have an emotional standoff against someone that you care about to some degree.
    Either case, I like it.

There is a subtle, yet CRUCIAL mis-translation of Jin's line. He is actually saying:
"A fight is about trying to live..."
This is opposed to Kazuya's line:
"A fight is about who's left standing"
Both are saying the same thing about why they fight... but Jin's perspective is much more hopeful
Kazuya was brutalized by Heihachi and became hell bent on dominating others like tools for his own goals; just as he was used, abandoned and left for dead by his father...
Jin was also abandoned by Heihachi, however in Tekken 8, he realizes his friends are the source of his strength and most importantly they are the reason to live. Jin was raised by his own mother Jun, well into his teen years, however, Kazuya was just a child when Heihachi killed Kazumi. I am of the opinion, that Kazuya saw himself in Jin, and did not really want to kill his son... Jin was just the biggest threat to his goals. The hint is in his dialogue:
    "Your persistence is admirable but..."
    "Give up!"
    "Just break damn you!"
"I thought you abandoned the Mishima style?"
"Is that all you can do from the power I gave you?"
THE BIGGEST CLUE is the line:
"Anyone who tries to dictate how I live............ will SUFFER"
Kazuya pauses for a long time because he realizes Jin was not his enemy and thus begins to walks away. Notice how he never tells Jin to "die" or that he will kill him.
It's very possible that the line, "A fight is about trying to live..." came from Jun herself, which causes Kazuya to pause and hesitate as he may have heard it before

Everyone feeling about Jin situation while no one ever thinks what shit Kazuya is been through..... Father killed mother at 5 then killed him as well just bec he has devil jene no one really cared about him except jun, if he's really bad jun wouldn't married him.... He's broken, and if he would've treated and cared we'll enough like Jin, then you know what would he be like.

Just my opinion yes kazuya is also have long suffering. But Kazuya still follow same path with heihachi make him no different with his father. Kazuya actually already get 2 chance to come out from his father path.
First, If he choose to run away with jun kazama in T2 and abandoned all mishima memory. but he still in tournament and get defeated again with heihachi. He actually has a chance to create new live and peace with her.
Second, If he choose to save jin in tekken 4 instead try kill him and absord his devil gene. the conflict between father and son actually can be finished right there.
But all you can see, kazuya still choose dark path. Everytime there is a chance for him to walk out from mishima path he is actually resist it and still walk in wrong path.
And now with his defeated and spared to live by his son jin this is probally the final chance for kazuya to walk away from dark path.
