Great Job! Would love to see how you would handle a complex character next. I have a raster based character and I would like to retain all the detail in the body parts whilst still being able to allow for movement and expression. Keep up the good work.
Thank you very much for the tutorial. If I'm not wrong, first, you draw the image of the girl in Photoshop or AI, then you cut/create layers/shapes in After Effects to aminate the image later, am I correct?
@@JafarFazel Thank you for your prompt response. I can draw on paper. So I wonder whether it will work if I draw a character on paper -> take a photo -> trace the image to make it become a digital photo (Photoshop) -> insert it in After Effects to re-draw the photo in order to create shapes/layers like your instruction.
@@thuytrinhnguyen8497 Yes, of course you can, but after drawing on paper, enter it directly into After Effects and start creating shapes according to your drawing. You don't need to work in Photoshop.

Honestly, no, I designed it from the beginning in After Effects and I got ideas for design from Pinterest.

13:53.. how about an effect matte instead
I don't think it can be done with the Set matte effect, but if you can, why not.
Nothing that relates to the other video which you have "Eye lid" grouped and have 2 extra shapes in there?
I don't understand what you mean, explain more
@@JafarFazel Sorry it was named "Eye Lid Group" but in fact it was for eye lashes (which you have 3 pieces). Just a typo that confused me ...
@@jean-alexandrethibault3892 Yes, you are right, I made a mistake in naming.
