Lake Vidraru is an artificial lake in Romania. The views from above with the lake and the dam are beautiful.
It was created in 1965 by the construction of the Vidraru Dam on the Argeș River.
Lake Vidraru is a reservoir on the Arges River for Hydroelectricity production. It has over 465 million cubic meters of water, with a length of 10.3 kilometers (6.4 mi) and a width of 2.2 kilometers (1.4 mi), accumulating a total area of 870 hectares (8.7 km2; 3.4 sq mi) and maximum depth of 155 meters (509 ft). Its circumferences is about 28 kilometers (17 mi).
