The Transfagarasan Mountain Road - Amazing Experience in 4K, drone over Balea Lake.

We've come back to this great and amazing road that passes the mountains. This is a paved mountain road crossing the southern section of the Carpathian Mountains of Romania. It was built in the early 1970s as a strategic military route that connects the historic regions of Transylvania and Wallachia(Muntenia). It starts near the village Cartisoara, near Sibiu, it passes over and through the mountain stretching up to the village Bascov near Pitesti.
The road also provides access to Bâlea Lake.
