Love your vids! I'm building my own this week, just waiting on my uniseals! I just got 2 identical tanks, I'm going to make a dual-tank biodigester so that my fertilizer is more processed when it comes out because Im using it in my medical cannabis garden right in town. Have you considered using Calcium chloride in your water bubble? A slightly acidic solution of calcium chloride is said to have much better results and its a cheap addition to your already wicked setup! Also, if you have access to a machinist, scrap metal filings from boring holes are a cheap substitute for steel wool! You're doing great work, Im moving offgrid in 2019 so you've provided a game-changer by giving me confidence in this. Thanks!
Thank you man you got me researching more about bio digester going to give it a try been sending your videos to a few friends even on Facebook . will be trying it but a smaller one.
Thank you Howard for the support, many have built a bio digester after watching my videos I have had others reach out to me every happy with their builds, I am really happy to share all I can about this the more people that know the better it will be. I glad you find value in my content. Biogas is awesome. Good luck on your build. I am making new biogas videos all the time to help others.
Respect brother I am in Jamaica and i can tell you we know nothing of this bio digeter stuff and when i send your videos to friends their eyes pop up open wide. here we like to live fist world life on third world income. By the way love your solar videos your system have gotten big though so the really good ones are when you just started out.Still your videos very good for teaching and excellent details.
Thanks brother for sharing your insights with me. I'm the first in Hawaii to make and use biogas at home. When friends and family come over and they ask me what that thing is I explained to them and they still have a hard time understanding it until I actually show them it working and the nice type of gas and flame we get off of it then I can see their minds opening up more. You can build a bio digester small and you can build one big but just remember a smaller by bio digester will produce less bio gas. But the bigger the bio digester you will have to feed it more but you get a lot more gas.
would you be able to link the previous and next videos in the update series in your descriptions for each video? would really help with continuity of project updates. cheers, Tristan
How much gas does this type of digester produce per day and how long does it take for the gas to build up for first time use? Also can you connect two or three containers and hook them together to produce more gas but still come out of the same gas line?
+Evone I am still testing Results will be shown on a video once I have a clear understanding of how much gas it produces daily. Yes you can hook more than one container up to produce more gas and still come out the same gas line
Me and my husband we have a tank we want to make bio gas. But we can't find the unaseals any were we tried Amazon and ebay any chance you could send us a link to it thank you
Just a thing about why you decided to put the seals where you put them, gas fills every single centimeter the same way in every part of it's container, it's a property of the gases. Just a commentary, I'm doing a small scale one for school project, love your vids
apparently (I'm using comments on other videos here) you can't use toilet waste because of pathogens, but I saw something recently where a company got around this by turning the sewage into algae then digesting it. I don't think shower waste has the same problem.
I hope to see your finished product. in actuality you can heat your house, run your generator and power your house from that gas. you just need t know how to make your gas more potent and frequent
now thats a good questions I am still thinking on that. It needs to sit in the sun and not in the way. I will probably more then 1 time becasue the house is not done.
Nice video. Great work man. Question:. What is better, 1 big system like 10tonner bio digester or 10 smaller system of 1 tonner container? Appreciate you very well thought of response. Thank you! GBU! Farm produces 15 tonner chicken dung.
Hello Modern Off Grid DIY, i would like to talk to you in private about making a bigas digester with low costs. I want to start a business about this and i need people who know much about this process. It would be great if we have a conversion. And thank you.
cost to much and unsafe.. I like the fact that its not high pressure more safe. this is why i am using Biogas pump for on demand pressure. Stored in big heavy duty bags.
I thought this was a tutorial showing how you did it...not how you started it and didn't finish the project but explained it over & over then said it's not rocket science guys! 😳🤣🤔
+abellekennel I understand what you're saying but it's a habit because lots of people want me to explain more of what's going on in the video. I will try to cut down on it.
WAY over explained!. It took him 7 minutes in just to say use 1 inch larger size hole saw for the the size of uniseal you use, and the gas will go to the high spots so he's connecting all the highest points to one outlet!?. I started skipping ahead, and he repeated the same thing over, and over, and over, to the point I started to get very annoyed lol. This would have been better on time lapse with the instructions written on screen.
The Biogas Handbook is available now turnwasteintoenergy.com/product/biogas-handbook-step-by-step-guide/

If you live in a cold environment, could you have one gas outlet go to a heater for the digester to keep it warm
Hi there. I have a manure collection for my quail farm for about 5pale a day. Does this tank fit for mya collections?
How will you deal with the solids that don't digest?
What are those sealers called? I couldn't understand him pronouncing?
would you be able to link the previous and next videos in the update series in your descriptions for each video? would really help with continuity of project updates.

+Tristan Vance I might have to make a video playlist on this
Is it better to paint black than white?

Great video! I one question, do you think is possible to produce biogas if I dump the
RV black tank into the biogas digester? Thank you
Sure
Me and my husband we have a tank we want to make bio gas. But we can't find the unaseals any were we tried Amazon and ebay any chance you could send us a link to it thank you
I just check eBay they have lots of sale.
It's called Uniseal
thank you i was spelling wrong lol
Good system esp the 3 Gas Outlets.
It's working really good

Why three gas outlets
can I use this as toilets and bathrooms drainage?

@@jameswhite153 You can use toilet sewage as an input. the heat produced kills the pathogens.
@@sspence65 thank for the info!

nice coming along fine have you figured out where you are going to put it yet?

diagrams are good, clear videos and good clear dialog scripted and shorten up i went to sleep
Hay en castellano ,no se inglés y es difícil seguirlos con tan interesante explicacion

Hello
Modern Off Grid DIY, i would like to talk to you in private about making a bigas digester with low costs. I want to start a business about this and i need people who know much about this process. It would be great if we have a conversion. And thank you.
where is part 1?
I have a playlist with all Biogas stuff check it out...
I often see people buying white tanks and painting them black. Black molded tanks are available; why do the extra step?
+KarmaTiger not available where I'm at.
you can litterally get these for free from most construction sites and no i dont mean stealing.
maybe you can take some empty propane tanks and use those to store the natural gas since those would be better suited for flammable gases
cost to much and unsafe.. I like the fact that its not high pressure more safe. this is why i am using Biogas pump for on demand pressure. Stored in big heavy duty bags.

You seriously need to hold back on talk and get to the point and aktion.... otherwise great stuff your doing !
+abellekennel I understand what you're saying but it's a habit because lots of people want me to explain more of what's going on in the video. I will try to cut down on it.
don't cut it down @mordern off grid DIY, keep talking, I catch the random gems you drop when you talk for long.
@@ModernOffGridDIY i sure do appreciate the details
God you talk and talk and talk. How much gas are you exhaling
+Kerry DeWitt lol just trying to go over things
Had to stop half way through !!!! HOLY CRAP !!! Get a tripod or a camera person !!! AND PUT SOCK OVER THAT MIC !!!
