Who do you think should rebuild? 🤔
Cowboys could do with a bit of work. 🙂 Coaching is holding back several teams!
Saints. I live here, and your take was spot on a local take, too.
The saints are in such a tough situation because it feels like for maybe five games a season they play up to there potential which makes it even more difficult to rebuild especially with all of cap problems
As a life long Falcons fan. Saints don't have a bad team, they just never execute like they are supposed to due to some play calls.
My opinion if Tayson Hill plays a full game we win, if he gets injured during the game and/or out of the games, we lose.
Why is Hill such a vital piece in the Saints winning? It's not like he's the star QB
What role does he fill that he literally makes or breaks the Saints, as your comment is stating
Is he really that dam good that? @@bendigginsjr6121
Falcons fan here, they keep trying to mask their problems with “we have a great defense” even tho their defense is getting really old and slow. They don’t have a qb or oline play calling is predictable. I’ll give them MAYBE one more year with this defense before they lose “great” status
@@bigzaksnak9998i think your opinion stems from “falcons fan here”😂
Throw in the Dolphins too. They have a lot of aging players and Tua, even if he comes back, his career is over. His medical and post season history limits how far the Dolphins can go.
Agreed, this is a team that should be (finally) winning some playoffs and making a superbowl run. Instead they spend their offseason losing everyone decent, not fixing their defense, not fixing their o-line and doubling down on a qb with no future. They will be lucky to win 5-7 games this year and are in trouble for years. Miami fans deserve better.
Agree
I REFUSE to shed a tear for the Browns. They knew they were trading for a serial rapist who's NFL career was uncertain, yet took on a massive guaranteed contract anyway.
right?? i’m seeing some talk of “you sort of have to feel for kevin stefanski” no you don’t! he oversaw shipping out baker mayfield and bringing in a known abuser. if he had any moral objections he could’ve resigned or protested. he made his bed.
What were they thinking >
breaking: the dumbest person you know does something unequivocally terrible
reactionaries: 🥲 so sad, you gotta give it to him for trying
They deserved this m. Baker could’ve been the browns franchise qb.
It must be painful to see Baker doing well for Bucs for much less money
I think the problem with the Raiders was they let their running back leave in free agency and the Falcons drafted the quarterback they wanted. They should had moved in the draft to take one of the two remaining quarterbacks in the first round.
No one expected the falcons to draft a QB.
They tried and nobody wanted anything the raiders were offering
There was no predicting the Falcons would draft Penix. I don't think there was a single person outside of the Falcons front office that was expecting that. I don't think the Raiders are far off being a real competitor, it's just that the two positions that need to be rebuilt are the two most noticeable offensive positions. QB and RB1.
this just never would have worked. jets didn't want to trade down too far out of a tackle (fashanu), obviously the vikings and division rival denver looking for qbs wouldn't trade with them, and the bears likely had no interest in trading out of a wr as talented as odunze falling to 9. raiders simply picked too late and the falcons pick threw everything off
@@altimagobrrr3838 if I'm the raiders I'm offering a Conditional 3rd for Tyler Allgeier
It’s very scary the Panthers have the lowest cap space in the league and a terrible roster.
Over $50 million is dead cap from cutting mistakes from the Fitterer era. Another $30 million plus is on IR. This was always going to be a year to eat the losses.
Good God that’s nuts, I didn’t know that. Them and the Browns are about in as bad a position from a competitive standpoint as any team I can remember in 30 years. It’d be hard to see a ray of hope in those places
@@danshowlund yeah the Browns situation is scary. Their gm is going to leave it a mess if he gets fired. They pushed back the cap on so many players, they are already over next year by 50m. Paying tons of guys a year or two after the leave. And still can’t get out from Watson.
@@danshowlund the Browns have the Deshaun Watson contract that will hamper them. The Panthers only lost the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes because we would not guarantee the contract past year 3, ironically probably when it was clear Deshaun was washed and we could cut bait.
@@johndorrance6381 the Panthers should be in better shape next year salary wise. I am just stating a fact.
You can put the Cleveland Clowns on the list too!
As much as I agree, how do they rebuild before Groper Cleveland's contract is up?
Remove Giants, since they are already in the middle of a rebuild. Insert Cleveland.
the real problem, is teams starting over constantly. if they don't have the players, they will keep losing. stop firing coaches prematurely. and also stop destroying young QBs by putting them in the game right after college, its idiotic! just my opinion
You bring up a good point he should do a vid on, how often on average do teams have to go through a rebuilding phases? how long should the phase last? whats factors into it etc. (generally speaking since all teams are different of course) 🤔
Dude the only team you can't explain is the Saints. I've been a Saints fan for my hole life and i still can't explain their momey situation. The best way to describe it is that right now, they are being mid, to catch up on the cap, but not become the Panthers last year where tickets were 25 cents. They are ok with mid, and that will be the deal for atleast the next two years, with atleast one of them with Carr still has their QB
being mid is literally the worst position to be in sports, they need to blow it up and be bad
@@shkickz2125I agree. You’re not bad enough to get high draft picks, and you’re not good enough to win anything in the playoffs. That sucks
So they're the Chicago Bulls essentially. Jerry Reinsdorf owns them AND the White Sox. Terrible teams that are okay with being bad as long as they fill seats (Bulls always do, Sox will not).
6:56 Huh? the giants o line has been quite good actually. A little bit confused on that one...the run blocking isn't great but the pass pro has actually been really good. Eluemunor will be extended, Runyan is a solid LG, Schmitz is a fine center, the only person to replace would be Van Roten at RG since that's a stop-gap solution. It was also widely known that the Giants wanted Drake Maye. For them, it was really Maye or bust from a QB standpoint.
yeah, I don’t know what he was talking about during that segment, they’re 16th in pass blocking and put up a masterclass as a group against Seattle
It was definitely a confusing take on what has been the best offensive line that giants have had in the past decade
The O-line isn't the problem, their literally the only thing keeping DJ standing. I agree with the run game but first things first, we have to solve the QB problem before the worrying about the run game, b/c I just don't think DJ is our guy, IMO
That was the worst take this channel ever made
You can't say that the Giants haven't tried to fix the O-line. They just have had bad luck drafting and too many injuries.
Poles ripping the Bears down to the studs and rebuilding scratch was a great for breaking the cycle of trying to patch things in free agency with old players. The job is not done but its working out well so far and there is some real hope. When your running in place for 6-10+ years, tear it down
The biggest problem with the Bears is they keep drafting top QBs, but have no line to protect them or give them a solid rushing game to take pressure off the QB. They draft guys like Fields or Caleb and instead of going after o-line in with the following picks or in free agency, they go after guys like Odunze or Keenan Allen. It's like their front office is playing fantasy football.
Bears suck fam 🤣
Poles will be gone in 3 years fam
@@crispcaddy3064no they don’t they 3-2 and about to enter their bye week 4-2 this ain’t 2022 buddy
@@STREAMSONLY-vt6gxin what way would he be gone in three years when every year with him the bears have improved every year?
This is all fantasy, but I think browns should make Watson the most expensive backup quarterback. If Jameis Winston runs the offense better great. If he doesn’t do amazing go after a guy like Sam. Let Jameis play ball and the defense win games. (Not a browns fan) we all just hate Watson
Tbh run Watson into the ground and get the most you can out of him, he clearly doesn’t care
The Raiders need to start over? We have nothing to begin with. What are you counting as our "core"? Crosby? He's never getting traded, so what is there to rebuild? The rebuild started when we got rid of Carr and we never built anything.
You sound slow
WTF are you talking about?
I am so sorry you had to witness Kent State football, we're so bad that no one deserves to be tortured with that
Tailgating and the game was a great time 🤣
If the Saints get rid of Marshon his replacement is Kool-Aid and the saints are talented injuries and coaching is holding them back and inconsistency at QB
"Theee 2024 ____ finished the season with a _____ record, and without further ado, let's begin" 😂
Tank szn for my raiders 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
Tank for Cam Ward, Jalen Milroe or Sheduer.
the only one of those guys who might be alright in the nfl is shedeur
Bruh, id stay away from giving car 'takes' 😂
The analogy was fine
Love your commentary. Simple, informative, and wellspoken!
Thank you Nick!
Calling it now, 23-17 giants over Bengals. Ill eat my humble pie if I'm wrong
You should do stand-up!
I mean how the year is going I wouldn’t be surprised
Said the same thing against the Commanders, God that pie tasted bad 🤢
I've been a doe hard Raiders fan my whole life.... And I'm so tired of my team going into rebuild mode ☹️
How have you not been hired by and NFL franchise🤦🏽♂️ you’re understanding of the sport is unmatched man
lol I appreciate it Alan thank you!
The Giants ARE rebuilding. Once they activate the trapdoor in Jones’ contract, they will draft the new quarterback. Until then, it’s about building up the roster. They are in the middle of a rebuild.
You're mostly right on the saints. What really happened this year in addition to the McCoy injury was the injury to Taysom Hill. Klint Kubiak seemed to design almost the entire playbook around being able to misdirect the defense with Hill on the field because you never knew how to account for him. But McCoy certainly matters just as much, as he's one of the best centers in the league and you don't replace a guy like that easily.
I don't think our cap space is as big of an issue as people like to say. It's certainly not ideal, but the players we're keeping are not exactly holding the team back, not even Carr. The only hefty contract that we need to offload is Cam Jordan and maybe Lattimore, but Jordan seems likely to retire either this season or the next.
I'm really hopeful that Rattler can be that Russ in r3 or Dak in r4 type of player. We'll see how he does.
Getsy is a major problem, even if/when we get a new QB/RB I wouldn't trust Getsy to use them correctly.
Panthers are already projected to draft a QB high in the 2025 draft by many draft analysts
It would probably be better to let Bryce get one more year and see if he pops or not and wait for a way better class in 2026 imo
this would be a disaster decision, you still have 2-3 seasons of bryce under contract after this one... fix the team, and if bryce still stinks then get a qb in 2 or 3 years with a playable roster
Appreciate the content, Bruh.
I think the raiders were planning on drafting Penix and were shocked the falcons took him.
I think k penix was shocked the falcons took him
On the topic of Drake Maye getting his first start against Houston's fierce defense, it really has that "Justin Fields' first career start against the Browns' fierce defense" vibe. Like his coaches can't see that it's a terrible way to get a rookie QB introduced to the league and may end up doing more damage than good in the long run.
Cleveland best chance for a rebuild is to do an emergency draft after 5 of their players get maimed, one of which needs to include Watson.
Honestly Pierce was stupid to start Minshew we all know who he is at this point he the Fitzpatrick of the NFL he a high end backup but can start and win you a few games.
Should have started O’Connell and see what you have in him and if he didn’t work out. Well you get your QB in the next draft even though this QB class is not that great
Love hearing you talk 🏈
Pause
As a longtime Saints' fan, I think this was a very solid, well-informed, and thoughtful analysis.
Thank you Wayne!
"Cun-trairy" 😂😂
Great vid as always brotha
Glad you enjoyed! Thank you!
Say what Giants offensive line is playing great this season. And they are on the incline, the entire team. The Giants do not deserve to be on this list and maybe in the future will make a video removing them from your list.
I agree 💯 %
I’ve never seen a situation like Deshaun Watson and I mean that in the worst way possible. He thinks he’s a hotshot, will not run the ball at all just cause he’s selfish, completely lost the team and its faith, has zero drive, I mean his stats aren’t that bad for a quarterback that’s as absolutely horrible as he is. It just shows how much of a sucky guy he is when he put up nearly 5000 yards with Houston and still got traded away.
The Cleveland Browns' situation sounds like a mess, but do you think it's possible they can salvage anything from the Deshaun Watson contract, or are they just stuck with one of the worst deals in NFL history?
Isn’t it crazy how Deshaun Watson was compared to Josh Allan and Patrick mahomes, basically considered a top 5-10 Qb? Now he’s playing worse than Daniel Fricking Jones…
Stephon Gilmore is the exception to the corner rule. Bro is aging like fine wine
At this point I’m completely out on Mickey Loomis. I haven’t forgotten that he basically wasted Brees’ prime with those awful rosters from like 2014-2016 rosters. I haven’t forgotten he spent 2 first rounders on Marcus Davenport, and the Penning pick is still hurting us. We haven’t had a real chance to win the SB since the 2018 no-call, yet our cap situation is worse than ever and we rarely have any draft capital. I would gladly watch 2-3 losing seasons if that meant we had least had some sort of hope. The Carr-Allen era has just been a giant waste of time and resources.
Rams are another team. They remind me of the Vikings last year, where they had great qb play, but a lot of holes in the roster. Stafford is also getting older and the defense isn’t good.
@@alecrechtiene558 well it doesn’t help that the rams offense is injured so they can’t win by overpowering them and that defense has many holes
@@Savataricwe’re not close to competing even with the team healthy. The defense is awful, Stafford is getting old, Kupp is injury prone, we don’t really know that Puka’s rookie season isn’t a fluke, and idk if McVay is gonna want to stay that long through a rebuild. Throw that in with the fact that our franchise gets poor grades in player surveys - with the only main positive being a coaching staff that may not be here much longer - and things might get really ugly really fast and for really long.
McVay will leave
Most of these teams are victims of the chiefs dynasty
I get that ads are a part of RUclips but man it really turns me off of videos.
Las Vegas has already started their rebuild. If you don’t have your franchise QB on roster. You’re rebuilding
The Cardinals are in their second year of a rebuild and have not spent much. Next year they will have one of the highest available cap space in the league. My question is, do you believe in a true rebuild, teams should hold off from using their cap space and instead just work through the draft for the first 2-3 years? Build the core, build the locker room, build the team values, then go all out and spend the cap on good veterans? Or do you try and get good veterans ASAP to try and speed up the rebuild?
They are no longer the browns. They are now the Cleveland Football Team
Saints - demote Allen to defensive coordinator, hire John Gruden as head coach, keep Kubiak at OC.
Giants QB situation still needs to be resolved (I still don't think DJ is our guy sorry) the O-line is arguably the only reason he's able to make anything happen which is why we have to solve the QB problem first then address the run game. Once that's taken care of the playoff's seem more like a sure thing. IMO.
Browns leadership needs to pay Watson to sit at home atp. The contract was a mistake, but that doesn't mean they need to keep trying to win games with a player who has shown he's not capable of elevating the team around him
Considered Giants (my team) and Raiders as rebuilding already. Giants O-line should have been rebuilt last yr but poor picks and if they continue to struggle, that will sadly doom Daball and Co. more than resigning Jones. AP is trying to salvage the mess left by Josh the Destroyer. QB and RB were their biggest need entering the season add WR1? but everywhere else seems very solid. I love your vids brother, keep em coming!👍
Have you been watching the Giants? They have a GREAT O-Line this year lol. They are a few pieces away from a playoff spot. Giants draft Milroe this upcoming draft. The 2024 draft class for the Giants has been amazing so far
The bowers ewers duo in madden franchise is OP so I bet ittl be the same irl
If you consider a "rebuild" a change at the QB position, then I agree. I don't really see the Giants as a full "tear it down" rebuild team, but definitely some work needs to be done on this house
But I truly think the Giants are a QB away from really raising their ceiling. Jones has been pretty good this year, but I would be shocked if a 1st or 2nd round QB isn't in the cards next year. Even if you want to keep Jones, having him as the starter while a QB is prepped on the bench could work wonders.
I hope 2025 is that big step forward with a new QB, some retooled OL and secondary pieces, and Daboll leading the charge of a flexible and fast offense. I hope
Please. The Raiders don't need to rebuild. That's just dumb. They just switched QB to O'Connell and we'll see how that goes, but they may need to spend some draft capital to select another QB. Otherwise, they have a lot of talent (but also lots of injuries).
I appreciate your content.
Please consider doing a piece on the Steelers.
They're a team avoiding a rebuild at all cost, while spinning in perpetual mediocrity at best.
The Steelers are not a very good team, not a legit championship contender, but they don't get to retool with Top 10 picks, like they need to, because 9-8 has become the new standard for this underachieving , complacent organization.
Thank you!
You had me worried when you mentioned impalas, I will not stand for any impala slander 😂
And Caprice Classics of the seventies were one of the best cars ever!
Only one interim coach has a winning record after becoming head coach Jason Garrett. You shouldn't ever hire a interim coach to head coach remember that coach was part of the staff of coach you fired
Titans, Raiders, Saints, and Giants are my predictions
Crazy how quick people went back to hating the browns lol
Saints fan here. Spencer Rattler era starts tomorrow baybay.
Rattler is garbage but so is Carr
D.Hop made Watson look way better that he actually is.
I think the Rams should be on this list, especially if we lose next week. Stafford only has a year or two left, Kupp is injury prone and Puka could’ve been a fluke for all we know. Plus even though we’re injured to hell we suck even when healthy. Also the other three NFCW teams are all in their competitive prime. I think we may have to consider going full tank and just laying low for the next 4-5 years and start our next SB window in the late 2020s to early 2030s
Is it the Raiders coaching or is it Gardner Mishew and Aiden O'Connell? Bc we've seen them play far better with under Shane Steichen and Josh McDaniels (of all people). This is the year of the reemergent QBs on their 2nd or 3rd teams. And I think that when you're in those kind of situations, you need an offensive minded HC. And a really good OC. The Raiders don't have that. Even if they were to get the top QB draft prospect, would anyone trust AP to develop him? I'm not hating. But I think he should be HC of a team that has a smashmouth defense and a solid run game. The problem with the Raiders is they let Josh Jacobs walk for nothing and did little to replace him. The teams needs to rebuild from the top to the bottom starting with HC & GM.
The rebuild is a logic fallacy. You are either building, or tearing down.
Which team has ever rebuilt with success? The ravens kept building the team. Giants, patriots of the 2000-2010s , giants dal, sf, even buffalo in the 80s\90's all kept building.
This "rebuild" strategy has never worked .That's why the browns and jets and jaguars are always 'rebuilding.'
Bears did a total rebuild starting in 2022. Chiefs did in 2012. Houston did in 2022.
Washington did last season.
@@jamesknapp64 the chiefs were not rebuilding in 2012. That team had 6 pro bowlers despite only having 2 wins. They had plenty of good talent on that team since 2010. The problem is needed a good coach and a better qb and they got them in 2013.
Issue with the Saints is they wouldn’t even be in this situation if they could draft well, so you can’t even trust them to rebuild
The only thing we can’t draft well consistently is late round QBs and first round O line, which is obviously not great but we draft extremely well compared to most teams in the league
@@lucasbenoit3722The last good draft you had was what I refer to as the Kamera draft
@@lucasbenoit3722 definitely wouldn't agree, last year's draft was terrible and they consistently whiff on their early round picks for years now
I don't think the Raiders need to commit to a rebuild yet. I think they need a running back and they need to work on the o-line. Aidan O'Connell has the arm talent to be a top 10 qb in the League, but he's still new in the League they need to be able to run more play action to open up the passing for him and take pressure off him to make plays now.
Nah. Give AP another 2-3 seasons to get his shit together.
Saints give me 2020-2022 colts vibes they was tryna replace a great QB wit mid qbs hoping defense can carry u
Prefect madden 25 franchise starter video!
Honestly raiders not reaching for a QB this year is what I enjoyed lol
Raiders should 100% rebuild but I want to rebuild with AP
I’m pretty sure the Raiders will try to make a trade for Russel Wilson given that the Steelers have their guy in Justin Fields
saints and steelers have badly needed a rebuild since ben and brees have left and our too stubborn to do so
Minshew is more of an El Camino imo haha
Saints suck, sell the team. Fire Mickey, fire DA, trade lattimore and AK. Cut Cam Jordan, Demario.
this has to be rage bait
@@wasru.as a lifelong saints fan, none of it is rage bait. Maybe besides selling the team. But Mickey and DA gotta go for sure. And lattimore and AK need to be sent to a contender. Cam Jordan is beyond washed, Demario is still elite but he’s 35. We gotta get younger and faster
Consider yourself an enemy of the impala army
Panthers have to be in a worse position than Cleveland, but they are a clear 31 and 32
Where is week 6 preview dawg?
Daniel Jones reminds me so much of a other Giants forgettable quarterback: Dave Brown.
What’s your thoughts prospect out of Oklahoma the linebacker the Denver Broncos might try select him in a draft. That’s a blue chipper linebacker out of Oklahoma.
You should add the Seahawks. They will never win anything with that piss poor offensive line.
Before I watch I’m going to guess that the Jaguars, Bengals, Seahawks, and Cowboys are in this video.
Seahawks have new coaching staff and all so it’s hard 🥲
bengals is a crazy take, they just gotta build the defense
@@wasru. exactly, they need to rebuild the defense…
@@oneboxboi1091 that doesn’t count as a rebuild. Rebuild is when they blow everything up from scratch and gain draft capital for the future. Bengals just need to fix their defense from getting D line to stop the run and for pass rush which can be fixed in an single offseason or by trade
Only super bowl the Browns are going to is the commode.
I'm a diehard raiders fan and I cant see the raiders rebuild
Nice shirt
Notice it’s always the same teams year after year after year rebuilding lol they will still be rebuilding after trying to rebuild lol😂
put me in coach
Don’t disrespect the impala’s… more like a kia
Mad raiders taking Minshew.
Chiefs need a full rebuild, their players will be too old next year.
Nah them Chiefs won’t need to rebuild until they outta tha SB convo.
Cowboys need to rebuild
Do you think the chiefs will go 6-0?
Doubtful
Yeah probably
The refs should have no problem going 6-0
sam darnold aint a rari or a lambo. sorry boss.
More like a supercharged Yugo
If I had the Vikings receivers, shit I would look good too
Raiders could be worse off like having a serial flasher in at QB… but the raiders still suck and will continue to be the worst team in the league
the giants oline is very good tf u on about
I hope the Jets get better!
I do too, and I hope they get a good HC, and solve the QB situation. - Sincerely, Titan Up ⚔️🛡️💙🖤💙
I think Ewers would be a perfect QB for Klint Kubiak’s offense.
Ewers is overrated
