As a metal veteran (I’m 40 years old), I have heard it all. Dillinger and ETID are my all time favorites in the genre. But EVERY Johnny Booth song makes me feel something I haven’t felt from heavy music in years. It literally made me tear up today from a mix of emotions I can’t articulate entirely. The joy and the dopamine. The aggression and the frustration. The catharsis that few musicians can create. All at once. I love them so much.
The common thread amongst all three bands is that they're very consistent with putting out good stuff. Even when they change up the sound. Banger after banger.
You articulated it perfectly. I am feeling the same after listening to metal of all kinds for about 20 years. This band is special and I am happy to be on the ground floor for it.
