Hey sir, I have a video suggestion. I guess many of the guys would love if you make a video on Nic D. His marketing strategies and his way to see music business. It would take out a lot of confusions from our mind. Many of the artists don't wanna be be a typical social media artist and don't wanna release music every week and many things as he says but wanna make a living outta music. Is this possible in today's time for a musician ??
I've struggled in this department too. I've made the album videos and lyric videos like Jesse said, but the main music videos are tough to pull off right now. Going to watch the rest of the music video tutorials.
@@7hillspoet he has two or three, I think. a green screen, some backdrops, and Davinci Resolve are your best friends. That’s actually what I’m messing with right now. I also have a lofi/analog/early digital horror aesthetic thing going on, so I bought two old crappy cameras at a pawn shop at a low price As far as ideas, watch movies for inspiration. Jesse talks about taking time to get inspired and I take that to heart. I watch a lot of horror, especially Japanese and Korean horror, which tends to be macabre and usually stuff beyond your understanding. Hell, even dreams can inspire video ideas. Some of my favorite movies are As Above, So Below; the Rec series, The Devil’s Doorway, Noroi: The Curse, the Ringu series, Pulse (Kairo), Ju-On, and Warning: Do Not Play if you want some recommendations. They can even inspire songs too, not just visuals. If horror isn’t your vibe, I’d recommend checking out movies that fit more your vibe. If you’re a pop punk artist, maybe something like a romcom about a guy that can’t catch a break or if you’re an indie artist, maybe something like an obscure artsy low budget indie movie. The list goes on
