God when I moved to Korea for a year as a Highschool foreign exchange student (that’s how I learned about kpop) the variety shows were a mess like you have grown people playing with Barbie dolls
BTS do engage and do their best everytime but you can tell if an host or interviewer is good by looking at V or Suga. If V looks bored or if Suga doesn’t answer any question, something smells

I love how humble BTS have remained! Even tho they're so big, they've never "used" that, they're so down to earth. Also, the amazing thg abt RM is that he's never lived in the US or studied abroad extensively, apart frm the few months he spent in New Zealand while in middle school. He loves rap so wud find translations & learnt English by watching Friends, 1st w/ the Korean subs on, then the English ones, then without. He's a pretty smart dude anyway, he has a 148 IQ & came in the top 1% of the whole country for his university entrance exams ;-)

Lol Korea is like the champion for making celebrities do stupid shit and BTS love games so freaking much 😂😂😂 they make rock, paper, scissors life or death and literally have a 20 minute episode of their variety show that’s literally just them playing uno on a hotel floor and it’s still hilarious! They’ve even all dance cosplay and crossdressed for punishments or when they make THIER OWN PARODIES. Like this little shits don’t have enough content to make they make parodies of their own music videos and lives. It’s fucking great
Okay but RM was putting on a voice when he said "we want to focus on our carreers" you know that right?😂 Lol thats not how he normally speaks. But in general he does pronounce his words clearly. Same in Korean which isnt surprising since he's a rapper and diction is big part of it. Unlike the US where mumble rap is a thing in Korean rap they actually put a LOT of emphasis on diction and pronounciation. To the point when rappers sound mumbly they are deemed bad rappers. And RM has been rapping since he was 14 so it's no wonder that proper diction rubbed off on his normal speech. He oftrn speaks very fast too
I mean there are lots of different rap styles in the US. Plenty of US rappers put a lot of emphasis on diction. Mumble rap is just currently popular in the mainstream, but that's not everything. And there are Korean mumble rappers too.
In korea they have too many varity shows and ppl like them! The weirder and the more "extra" the better lol and every group that promote their combacks do a bunch of them so yeah american shows are easy for bts lol they don't compare to the weirdness of korea shows .
