The manga was dark!! The games barely even touched 1% of its story! Norman's involvement with the Rayquaza incident is completely ignored and he's just a generic gym leader in the games😑
The Hoenn Arc of the manga was the best arc in the manga (so far, currently still reading through DPP arc). Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald are some of the best characters❤
It's not my personal favorite (I have a bias towards arcs that star/feature Red, Blue, and Green; I do still REALLY love the Ruby/Sapphire arc tho) but I do think that it's the best-written arc of the manga. There's a reason why it's so popular among fans. Man, I want to reread it now!
Personally Red and Blue will always have a special place in my heart, and Yellow to me is so iconic. I love when they have a gimmick like Yellow's fishing rod or Black's Munna clearing his mind.

Ruby is the biggest chad in the manga. Tanking a Dragon Claw to the face from a Salamence at 6 years old, & then kicking its ass with a skitty, effortlessly winning every contest (except ones Wallace competed in) he actually gets the girl as he & Sapphire are a canon object in the ORAS manga, he's just the coolest pokespec protagonist
Appreciate you Pixil!! My jaw dropped when I saw Modest on Ralts, too bad I couldn't use it on the Castform from the Weather Institute! Love your Pokemon XG video btw, I've never played Pokemon XD but it was really cool to see the shadow mechanics and the enemy teams with enhanced teams!🙌

I appreciate the insight! I naturally talk really fast, so I've been working on slowing down my pace. I made the mistake of focusing my last two videos on having faster pacing because I thought the viewer retention was dipping from a slower pace, but I can see that I was wrong. My goal now is to make them feel more like video essays!
For future contest hall endeavors, you can obtain a blue, pink, green, red, and yellow scarf by showing the chairman of the Pokémon fan club in slateport city a Pokémon with a maxed out stat in the respective category

I've got a few ideas outside of the manga teams! I'll stick to themed runs, probably not Type Only runs. I feel like those are a little oversaturated and hard to tell a story around.
I actually did this with one step ahead i played Omega ruby as Ruby and getting the right gender for each one and I played fire red using reds team getting the correct natures and gender anyway amazing run my dude

Funny As far as I remember, the translation of the manga in my region(Hong Kong). The nicknames for Swamper, Milotic and Castform are Zuzu Mimi and Popo. Is it different for every version?😂
There are actually two major translations! One is from VIZ Media and the other is from Chaung Yi. Chuang Yi's has the nicknames you mentioned, and also have some major differences like Blue & Green reversed. I grew up reading the VIZ Media one so I used those as my nicknames.
That's fair, but hey Intimidate Mightyena, Encore/Thunder Wave Plusle, and Charm Delcatty pulled their weight! (not as much as Milotic and Swampert but still!)
