Something to consider, EG civic is long before the time of HSS construction and even though the car has a very good racing history the best condition EG chassis will still be not nearly as stiff as a ZC31S. Consider 86 vs 86GR, 50% stiffness improvement from better construction techniques, and the cars are very similar in age and design.
