@@LeonTodd I've got his Vintage Verb and use it on every project on something. That and Sound Toys plate verb are two of my favs. They both do such a great job in giving a natural space to things. However, you can also go nuts and use it in a not-so-transparent way, too. Just great stuff.
I probably have a couple hundred plugins that Ive bought, and Valhalla stuff is right at the top of my list of great stuff. The Vintage Verb is really all I need for any mix. Its almost a crime against themselves that Supermassive is free, but I thank them!
i love to using "Small Dark Room" factory presets, it gives my Amp and Cab Sim the "Roomy" like sound...just adjust the mix and the warp settings and here we go 🔥
I use this tons on my channel. Its opened the doors to the atmos ive always craved. Hats off to Valhalla!! SEABEAMS is my fave next to hydraharp which is choir heavy.
@Leon Todd Thanks!!!!! Just got a much needed early morning laugh from Ozzy Man reviews and some much needed guitar stuff. I think the rest of my day is going to go well!!!
You could have just made a preview with thumbnails at 04:58, 05:42 and 12:09. But no one would’ve watched the video then, as these expressions talk for themselves- just go download. This was a no brainer for me since I’m quite lame at daw and this thing seems pretty straight forward at no extra fuss. Btw, based on your past recommendation I gave trd Nova a shot and was Really pleased actually- what a great easy to use and intuitive plugin, and it sounds great and it’s free - thanks 🙏
Mesmerizing plugin, it´s amazing to see you testing this free plugin when you have the latest "state of the art" huge bunch of hardware, thanks Leon!!! I have just tested it with Lextac ampsim using Torpedo WoS loaded with Ownhammer GreenBacks (using the Power amp section of the Torpedo)...and my Triaxis is looking at me...full of hate!!!
Hey Leon! That sounds great! Did you use your AxeFx as an audiointerface for this? And if so how did you set it up to use your AxeFx Amp sounds with the valhalle reverb? Best regards :)
Hey man! You did a vid a while back on trying the Elixir optiweb I think. I use the nano webs and you said you'd do an update video to see how they go over time. I haven't seen the update. are there any plans for that if I've not missed it? Thanks!
@@LeonTodd been trying to do that today, can get it to work as real-time effect on audio I've recorded. But not as a live effect on the instrument as it plays.
Someone that knows raspberry pi programming might could do that. Put the plugin in the raspberry pi and maybe have a small screen to interact with it, like a cell phone screen, and put it in a metal enclosure. You could even have encoder knobs that are programmed for certain parameters. I'm surprised it hasn't been done. I think it would be cool to have a rack unit that had several amp plugins that you could choose from. I just dont like being tied to my computer to play guitar, that's why I have amps and rack preamps.
@@courtney2018 The main reason why no one has made a VST host using a Raspberry Pi is because VST plugins are processor architecture-dependent. All modern PC processors use the x86 architecture, while the Raspberry Pi uses an ARM processor. A VST plugin can't be made to run on an ARM processor without modifying its code. The RasPi can be used as an IR loader and as a standalone synth, but there's really no way to run standard VST plugins on it.

Supermassive's awesome but your ideas on how to use it are even better. Thank you so much
You're very welcome!
Valhalla's reverbs are some of the BEST. I've been using them for years. So, so good and so reasonably priced. Love it.
I did a session a while back where the engineer slapped the Valhalla hall verb on my solo and it was glorious. Kept a keen eye on them ever since.

It's incredible! I went and bought a bunch of their other plugins just because this one is too good to be free
your demo of this > my demo of this
5:08 Heaven Above was one of my favourites to listen to in the car!
Still one of my favourite melodies, dominant in the way up and minor back down
Downloaded it the day he made it available , unreal plugin!
Awesome playing and sounds!
Well done LT! That's Trippy!
Nice to Share! Be Well All!
Who says you don't ever get anything free these days!
@Leon Todd Thanks!!!!! Just got a much needed early morning laugh from Ozzy Man reviews and some much needed guitar stuff. I think the rest of my day is going to go well!!!

Clicked to see if I wanted to download the plug-in, stayed to drift in the boundless ethereal soundscapes.

I need to do a "song using only free plugins" style thing at some point, so much good stuff
That would be awesome!
Hope, ignite TPA-1 would find its place there
ça déchire.
4:21 sounds so cool.
Leon can you do a video on making a acoustic guitar simulation sound for the fractal fx3 .Thanks Raymond ,love the videos keep them coming
This reminds me of a synth. Awesome.
your end playing with that huge reverb reminds me of the crow lol
Leon-what can this do for us mere mortals? 🤣🤣🤣. This is such a cool demo-great playing as usual!!!
Confirmed to make you look and sound 10% more gorgeous!

Soo cool man 👨
I’ll have to try this if getting it doesn’t put me on another mailing list.
Excellent review. I'll be honest. I cannot stop using it. Hahaha
Very cool sound, Leon. Any Chance to get there with Fractal stuff /the Axe FX III?
Try running a multitap delay or plex delay into a reverb, should cover most of this. The factory block hole preset is great too
Leon circles back to the reverb,,,
Where is my shocked face?
Now *that's* an outro....
I feel as if I should have paid $$$ for that. Or at the very least, fired up a Bic lighter.
How do you use this on live sound and not just as an effect on recorded audio?
Laptop and a small audio interface would do it
@@LeonTodd been trying to do that today, can get it to work as real-time effect on audio I've recorded. But not as a live effect on the instrument as it plays.
If they would put this in a stereo pedal, I'd give them my next paycheck.
I was thinking the same thing, they'd rule the roost if they ported this into a pedal.
God yes. Excellent plugin.
My thoughts, exactly! 😆
