I been using this strategy for a couple of years great when its not wet! And u have high rise blades i have the mulch kit for it to but not good for leaves as yhe mulching blades dont really suck up ad good as the high riser blades
Yes, I was surprised how unchopped the leaves were. I guess a purpose built leaf collector will mulch the leaves as well. It does the job for a few months of the year.

Yeah it’s good, was only running at 2000 rpm so would be better still at full throttle/3000 rpm

Not used that type of machine before, I believe they are good. Ideal if it can collect leaves as well. 👍

@Machinesandstuff I use it as my multi tool! Lol I even cut and collect the wild meadow with it to but I do have to go over it a couple of times
perhaps because the leaves do not make volume in the basket because they are not chopped
