I'm a little concerned we never actually see the actual phone underwater, so it may be helpful to figure out a way to do that, maybe with a second phone or pad to record that. It may be simpler to leave it sitting submerged in a container since you aren't testing depth anyway. Then you could vigorously shake the container to ensure the case doesn't come apart from that (maybe solicit used phones for these tests). Then you could also leave it overnight in the fridge, to see how long the seal holds up.

I put mine on with the screen protector still on my phone. It works fine, but I get these two discolored spots on the left side on the top and bottom. I can’t get rid of them without removing the screen protector, so I will just live with it until it needs to be removed. The previous case just couldn’t keep water out and got on the screen.
