Great performance even despite the technical problems (their entire orchestra didn‘t work).

Wonder if they'll ever release the extended version of The Vision in the Fires. Cuz it is an awesome concert opener

Love McSix, the album is amazing, but this is an example of how relying on having 70% of the song on backing tracks ruins a song when things aren't dialed in.

It looks pretty suspect for lip syncing to me. Take a close look at e.g. the "goooods" at 1:51 (and similar parts). It really doesn't look convincingly like he's actually singing that note for so long yet that's what you hear.
(Disclaimer: I hope I'm wrong, because I'd much prefer the alternative that he improved and is singing live. I do like the album).

@@lintonthepenguinfor perspective, I'm a pretty new fan of both Gloryhammer and Angus Mcsix. I didn't even know Thomas Winkler was his real name until a few weeks ago.. I'm the first to admit when a new artist I'm into is a terrible live singer, or lip syncs live. Cool, I'll just stick to the studio songs, thanks. I rewatched that part like 10 times, and I honestly can't tell conclusively what you're pointing out since his mouth is covered. There are a couple of times (always in the chorus) where he definitely is singing along to a backtrack (but he still is singing). But he makes some pretty noticeable breath control mistakes that directly impact what we hear (good examples are 3:01 and 3:13). So...he does both?

Oof, the vocals are really rough. He'll permanently damage his vocal chords if he continues doing this to his voice. There is so much raw talent in him, but he needs to take good care of it and develop it. Talent isn't enough when it comes to singing.

I honestly have no clue what you're talking about with 'continue doing this to his voice.' Doing what? Vocal coaches be thinkin singing those strong high pitched vocals all the time gonna mess up ur voice, yet there be people like Halford going strong 5 decades into his career. Plenty of other vocalists singing less demanding songs with bad technique got a vocal injury only a couple years into their career. And yet here Winkler is, over a decade since he started with GH (and even longer in his previous bands), going strong with no vocal injuries. Even being complimented on his technique by a vocal coach (charismatic voice). He must be doing *something* right.
