Hey everyone, I know there are some super versatile fragrances that didn't make this list but there are only so many that I can include. Thanks for watching!
@Ar Seeus Aight I see. :D Yeah I totally understand, it's definitely kinda youthful, and I personally wouldn't wear it either if I were 55. If I were you, I'd grab the "older brother" of dylan blue, which is Acqua di gio Profumo. What do you think about that?
For Bleu de Channel do you prefer the edt or the edp version? Since i am older i have the edp. I fond it more mature. I just purchased Mugler cologne, already own the zest, pure havane and pure malt flankers
Agree that the EdP comes across more mature, the EdT has more of a grapefruit blast on the open. I like them both, if I'm wearing it more casual I'll grab the EdT and if more formal the EdP. Mugler Cologne is a wonderful soapy clean fragrance, very nice for anything casual or where you want to smell fresh.
Great review. I know it's hated by some but Mont Blanc Individuel is my everything scent. To me it is the most versatile scent on the planet. Also Versace pour homme
Hey Ash, I can’t find Chanel Sport Extreme on most of the discounter sites, they’re all out of stock (for months now)!! Do you have a secret discounter that you could recommend? I don’t want to pay full retail. Thank you
Might be a bit of a late reply, but unfortunately Chanel fragragrances are super hard to find discounted by that much even at discounters because it seems that Chanel tries to make it so there's not enough excess supply for it to be discounted on the grey market :(
Great Top 10 Ash. Amazing! Btw is there any fragrances similar to Rive Gauche, with a liiiitle bit more modern vibe? Maybe something similar to Guerlain Homme Intense ? Any suggestion please?
Great video. What can we classify the house of Armaf as, niche? From what I understand designer fragrances are from companies that have a fragrances and clothes, while niche houses only make fragrances, which is what Armaf seems to me.
You have two trains of thought on this. One side says as you described it, designers make more than just fragrances and niche houses make only fragrances. The other side says that it depends on the exclusivity or price. I fall more toward the latter. I consider Dior Privee line fragrances as niche, Tom Ford Private Blend as niche, Hermes Hermessence as niche, etc etc. I'm more inclined to call Armaf scents "designer quality" so in my mind they are a designer. Ultimately it's up to how you want to interpret things, there aren't any hard and fast rules really.
I love the fact that you review mens fragrances that the average guy can afford. I have three on this list.. lol. I felt like I won! Bleu De Chanel, Dior Sauvage, Meugler Cologne. One of my others is Platimum Ecgoiste by Chanel. The most compliments I've ever received came from Bath and Bodyworks Bourbon. Check it out! Thanks for the great videos!
l prefer Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme over the original Homme Sport. It smells more sophisticated to me and it brings more personality with it. Very good list overall and keep up the good work.
' spot on list, brother. There's not much I could add, other than something like Terre D Hermes, Gendarme, or Reflection Man. - enjoying your informative content. Cheers!
Agreed - Bleu De Chanel 'Eau De Parfum' is easily the best - not the Eau de Toilette or Parfum (and I need to spray it on quite generously particularly my T-shirt & jacket because it doesn't have legs.....the best part of it develops quite a bit later). Many thanks.......all the way from London !
I enjoy Tres Nuit and I enjoy Cool Water as well, honestly the modern Cool Water is pretty close to Tres Nuit quality wise. If I had to choose one I'd choose Cool Water just because of the fact that it's a classic, but Tres Nuit is a nice green scent that is high quality for the amount of money that you have to pay.
Gents Scents Thanls for your reply mate. I've got Cool Water, so will prob stick with that. Had Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo delivered earlier... Currently sitting down in olfactory ecstasy 😍😍
I know you’re a huge fan of Green Irish Tweed (as is everyone) but I haven’t smelled it yet. Hard to find Creed where I am but I did just get Tres Nuit delivered. It’s amazing I love it so if it smells similar to Green Irish Tweed just nowhere near as good I’m tempted to blind buy Irish Tweed!
Could u make a video about a strongest fragrances? I have very poor skin for perfumes, so i would love to see your list :) You have an awasome collection!
Thanks brother, I'll do that in the future. You can use an unscented lotion before you apply a fragrance to get better performance. Put the lotion on, let it dry for 5 to 10 and then spray the cologne over the top of where the lotion was. It'll improve performance by a good amount.
Great video... I own several of these scents. I totally agree with your Number 1. I have worn Bleu de Chanel successfully with a high temperature of 40 degrees and a high of 100 degrees. It is to fragrance what a Mozart symphony is to classical music: nothing innovative, just done to perfection.
Dior Eau Homme I will review soon. It seems like it is weak, but I when into a club with 4 sprays and a girl said she smelled me 6 ft away on a 50 degree night. Olfactory sets in really quick with that one with me. I thought it was weak lol.
Gents Scents I have both, but I am getting more compliments with Eau. Compliment score 3:1 so far. only 1 for Dior Homme. I did get a compliment with armaf la futura, which smells just like Dior H. crazy😵
your list is pumping! , this are all great no one to me in any particular order they will all do amazing..my only regret to be honest and you know I love your channel is Bleu chanel ,for some reason bleu just doesn't do it for me I just don't get all the hype in the other hand sauvage I do and it definitely get noticed and the scent trail is pleasant as hell ...happy Thanksgiving bro...
No offense taken brother, everyone has their own opinions on things and that is what makes things great. You're not being negative and I appreciate that.
your the best and again it is a great scent but you know how it ...can wait for your next vid expecially the application one and probably use some fragrances as example one being sauvage since you already had notice alfactive fatigue ...
While not as versatile, I think Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense is so much better than the original Amber Pour Homme. It's so much more rich and masculine. It's definitely a hidden gem that doesn't get talked about much.
This list makes great sense. If I may add a few other candidates that are dynamite people pleasers and extremely versatile. 1. Issey Miyake 2. Jean Paul Gaultier 3. Banana Republic Classic 4. Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce 5. Bvgari Pour Homme
Issey Miyake and Le Male are straight up classics, good stuff. Fierce was super popular which has in turn made Mont Blanc Legend super popular, great for younger people as well. Definite people pleasers.
Gents Scents yea, Fierce is definitely twenty-something. I own Legend as well, but rarely use it. My fragrance of the day was Rochas Man. I assume you know it. Love the ☕️ note
I agree with you that AdG Profumo is very versatile, and any list is subjective, but I find BdC to be just insanely versatile. It can be used in literally any situation and make you smell great to the vast majority of people you'll be around. Thanks for watching.
Wait, we talkin about versatility... so where's spicebomb? JPG's Le Male? Or hugo boss man? Or creed aventus? Or versace eau fraiche? Armani code, dior bois d'argent, a & f fierce, dior homme sport, chanel allure homme edition blanche, dolce & gabana THE ONE? Miss one of these versatility staples and its over lol
Some of the ones you mentioned are more versatile than others, if I had a "Top 50 Most Versatile Colognes" then most of the ones you mentioned would be in it but I only had 10 to work with.
Well said. If you are the average guy who has maybe a few bottles, BdC goes a very long way. If you have a massive collection then you can probably single out specific fragrances for specific events. BdC is like that fragrance that does everything very well, but isn't necessarily exceptional at any one thing. Super versatile.
Nice list & review man as always! I want to introduce you to a fragrance that I recently came across & I want to start a hype train for it I hope it's worthy of but you're the first reviewer I'm about to tell & if it gets hyped one day I hope it all started here lol its from a clothing line called RUE21 & it's IGNITE. To me this smells alluring and sexy, it's close to ysl La nuit/avant garde/with a touch of pure Havane I hope that's a good description but it has some coffee & cocoa beans. It's like ysl la nuit but on steroids lol hope you check it out soon and if possible review it one day? thanks man
For a lot of people that's true but it never hurts to have something that's a "people pleaser" in your arsenal that can be worn for literally anything.
I like how you list all 10 in the description. Such convenient for the audience.
Hey everyone, I know there are some super versatile fragrances that didn't make this list but there are only so many that I can include. Thanks for watching!
Bleu de Chanel is easily #1. Another super versatile fragrance which I wear a lot is Versace Man Eau Fraiche.
Versace Dylan Blue! Better performing and cheaper version of Bleu de Chanel. Easy reach.
@Ar Seeus At first, I didn't like it either. Now I really do. Would give it a solid 8 out of 10
@Ar Seeus Aight I see. :D Yeah I totally understand, it's definitely kinda youthful, and I personally wouldn't wear it either if I were 55. If I were you, I'd grab the "older brother" of dylan blue, which is Acqua di gio Profumo. What do you think about that?
Dylan Blue smells 100% synthetic, it's headache inducing and not even close to Bleu de Chanel imo.
@@danthadon87 beat me to it... Bleu de Chanel is much better, doesn't smell synthetic. Dylan Blue is synthetic and smells similar but it's worse..
Rive gauche is just such an amazing scent, really enjoy that one a lot
Quality video as usual. Chanel platinum Egoiste is my easy wearing fragance
Hello please can sb tell me the title of the background sound ?
For Bleu de Channel do you prefer the edt or the edp version? Since i am older i have the edp. I fond it more mature. I just purchased Mugler cologne, already own the zest, pure havane and pure malt flankers

Great review. I know it's hated by some but Mont Blanc Individuel is my everything scent. To me it is the most versatile scent on the planet. Also Versace pour homme
The intro almost blew my 12" Subwoofers in my car lol.
Which one do you prefer, EDT or EDP with Chanel Bleu de Chanel, Gents Scents
Call Of Dookie EDP NO CONTEST
Is that Bleu de Chanel edt?
I am a huge fan of versatile citrus vetiver scents.
great work man ! is prada amber pour homme a compliment getter ?
Hey Ash, I can’t find Chanel Sport Extreme on most of the discounter sites, they’re all out of stock (for months now)!! Do you have a secret discounter that you could recommend? I don’t want to pay full retail.
Thank you
Might be a bit of a late reply, but unfortunately Chanel fragragrances are super hard to find discounted by that much even at discounters because it seems that Chanel tries to make it so there's not enough excess supply for it to be discounted on the grey market :(
cartier déclaration, a super natural fragrance. what do you think about it?
I enjoy it, it's a really good value and can be dressed up or down equally. Quality stuff.
What do you think about ultra zest , do you think that it Is versatile?
It is, it may be the most versatile from the A-Men line
Why does Mugler Cologne come with two caps?
Does prada infusion d'homme smell like prada infusion d'iris?
Great Top 10 Ash. Amazing! Btw is there any fragrances similar to Rive Gauche, with a liiiitle bit more modern vibe? Maybe something similar to Guerlain Homme Intense ? Any suggestion please?

You are looking very well groomed here!
Great list, would only add platinum egoiste
JPG Eau Freche is pretty versatile too. Longevity and projection are beastly too.
l prefer Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme over the original Homme Sport. It smells more sophisticated to me and it brings more personality with it. Very good list overall and keep up the good work.
I've sampled that one a good deal but don't own a full bottle yet unfortunately. It's very nice, fully agree.
Love your videos bro, thank you for all your hard work
Great video, liked all your selections!
Thank you, I appreciate it!
What about lalique terres aromatic?!
' spot on list, brother. There's not much I could add, other than something like Terre D Hermes, Gendarme, or Reflection Man. - enjoying your informative content. Cheers!
Those are all good choices, I'm right there with you. Thanks brother
Agreed - Bleu De Chanel 'Eau De Parfum' is easily the best - not the Eau de Toilette or Parfum
(and I need to spray it on quite generously particularly my T-shirt & jacket because it doesn't have legs.....the best part of it develops quite a bit later).
Many thanks.......all the way from London !
every video from u is a real treat. else keep the videos coming!
Thanks Timothy, I'll keep plugging away
Nice video! Really enjoying your input. Completely agree with your choices. Out of interest, how does Tres Nuit match up to Cool Water? Cheers 👍🏽
Cool Water seems to get a lot of hate these days but honestly I think it is a great fragrance.
Just subscribed. I have one request please do a review on Aramis or Sun Java white for men.
I'll put it on the list my man, Aramis is the real old school manly stuff!
Anyone know where I can buy Rive Gauche?
Fragrancebuy.ca, fragrancenet. But they are not the cylinder bottle.

Nice video and nice list. Just subscribed. Keep up the good work man. I really enjoy your take on fragrances.
Thanks my man
GPH II one of my fave designer frags.Totally aggree with ya.Ever try GPH I ?Used to be my sig scent back in the day.
Love GPH I, bummer that it's hard to find now a days.
I have to say YSL Y EDP has replaced BDC in my collection... and it's a compliment MONSTER. :)
I prefer Sauvage EDP to both BDC EDP and Y EDP.
Tom Ford Grey Vetiver
bleu channel doesnt last full work day on me, it fades out quickly
THANK you SOO MUCH for this list! Best regards!! :D
What about Dolce and Gabbana The One EDP?
That's a great one, more of a date night scent for me but honestly it might be a 10/10 fragrance. The One is just so damn fantastic smelling.
Hey Aston,nic picks,very useful,keep it up.
Thanks brother
great list!! but for some reason or other l'homme does not work with me at all!! apart from that I think the list is great. keep up the good work😃😃
Can't win them all, haha. Thank you for the support!
Do he mean we can wear them all year around also?
I wished African Leather,Memo, on your list.... Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Helpful & Awesome review!....
African Leather is one of my personal favorites so I'll be talking more about that one soon. Thanks for watching
Said very well.
I think the only draw back is the projection and longevity.
Excellent list mate. Cheers.
Thanks man
Hope someone will mention in any videos my 15 year signature Bvlgari Pour Homme
Got myself 180ml's of acqua di do profumo for my first real fragrance.. Liking it so far.
Man keep up the great work! Love your vids.
Thanks very much
Thanks for great review!
Very nice! Thank you
I'm getting Bleu de Chael for christmas because I felt like it was so versatile.
It definitely is
Dior Eau Homme I will review soon. It seems like it is weak, but I when into a club with 4 sprays and a girl said she smelled me 6 ft away on a 50 degree night. Olfactory sets in really quick with that one with me. I thought it was weak lol.
I think Dior Homme Eau might be the most overlooked in the line.
Gents Scents I have both, but I am getting more compliments with Eau. Compliment score 3:1 so far. only 1 for Dior Homme. I did get a compliment with armaf la futura, which smells just like Dior H. crazy😵
Armaf is crazy in that some scents they hit out of the park and others are too harsh or cheap smelling. La Futura is one of the good ones for sure.
Gents Scents you are soooo right. I want to try the Terre Hermes clone. have you smelled it????? I think it's the Derby Belmont one
ShaveNontheDarkside Thanks
your list is pumping! , this are all great no one to me in any particular order they will all do amazing..my only regret to be honest and you know I love your channel is Bleu chanel ,for some reason bleu just doesn't do it for me I just don't get all the hype in the other hand sauvage I do and it definitely get noticed and the scent trail is pleasant as hell ...happy Thanksgiving bro...

Agreed that Prada Amber PH Intense is a high quality scent, very nice.
great review. bleu de channel on my list after watching this review.
Better hope your father-in-law doesn't watch this! :)
I have 3 from these
Love your Video, subscribed
Thanks man
What about ch men
This list makes great sense. If I may add a few other candidates that are dynamite people pleasers and extremely versatile.
1. Issey Miyake
2. Jean Paul Gaultier
3. Banana Republic Classic
4. Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce
5. Bvgari Pour Homme

Gents Scents yea, Fierce is definitely twenty-something. I own Legend as well, but rarely use it. My fragrance of the day was Rochas Man. I assume you know it. Love the ☕️ note
Gents Scents oh, before I go, I'm feeling the ombré on that button down.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
Rochas is the bomb, it'll be on an upcoming "great scents for cheap" list because it's a steal.
Are your sleeves a different color than the rest of your shirt?
Yeah, it's an ombre shirt. It transitions between colors.
do an update to this please, if anything in the past 4 years would /could make a difference, or maybe you've just changed your mind
aqua d g profumo far more versatile then bleu d chanel.a versatile frag is a fresh, light frag especialy in the heat aqua profumo ruls
I agree with you that AdG Profumo is very versatile, and any list is subjective, but I find BdC to be just insanely versatile. It can be used in literally any situation and make you smell great to the vast majority of people you'll be around. Thanks for watching.

Armani code black is the best
This is your best beard!
That shirt though.....*whistles
i wish sauvage smelled like the opening the whole time. i hate the dry down of it.
That's a very nice shirt!
Thanks man!
Am i the only one who thinks allure homme sport smells like cooled hand soap?
Where did you disappear recently?
I like that shirt.
Thanks, I appreciate it
i like it
well actually I do get all the hyped on bleu but anyways it's just me is ok but great for that 10 and under bottle fragrance guy...
Well said. If you are the average guy who has maybe a few bottles, BdC goes a very long way. If you have a massive collection then you can probably single out specific fragrances for specific events. BdC is like that fragrance that does everything very well, but isn't necessarily exceptional at any one thing. Super versatile.
Gents Scents jack of all trades? Lol
That's a quicker way to put it
Your mugler colonge is a little low now days
he seems like he would be a good straight man cuddler
Nice list & review man as always! I want to introduce you to a fragrance that I recently came across & I want to start a hype train for it I hope it's worthy of but you're the first reviewer I'm about to tell & if it gets hyped one day I hope it all started here lol its from a clothing line called RUE21 & it's IGNITE. you told this a designer list. I thought Creed is a niche perfume.
Creed is niche, I don't remember saying it was designer only but designers typically are more versatile in the general sense
just creed aventus
In the fragrance world "versatile" is synonymous with *BOOOORING*.
For a lot of people that's true but it never hurts to have something that's a "people pleaser" in your arsenal that can be worn for literally anything.
Not necessarily boring. Creed Aventus is versatile, but far from boring. Another example: Terre d'Hermes Eau Intense Vetiver.
bleu de chanel!!
BdC!
