- ■ PUEBLA, MEXICO: I like Mexico City but it's also one giant concrete jungle full of high rise modern buildings lacking the charm and character of other Mexican cities and towns which have kept more of their older architecture and colorful downtowns intact. So far Oaxaca is my favorite city in this entire country.
But many have told me that Puebla is somewhat similar. It has a colorful downtown historic centre where you can wander around and imagine what Mexico was like in centuries past. So I decided to go check it out.
There were a number of boutique hotels to chose from. They're generally my favorite type of hotels to stay in if I find myself in a country full of old cities that have been standing for centuries.
Most of them were modern however and lacking the old Mexico feel to their rooms and interior design. One hotel however stood out as unique and historic....

Right? I love Mezcal too, I would have been in heaven at that bar in the last video. Unfortunately, I wouldn't have been able to stop as easy as they did, and the whole rest of my trip would end up being one crippling hangover and continuing to drink to try and feel 'normal'. I ruined a trip to Philly a couple months ago because of this

These past 2 weeks you've been vlogging again, have put a big smile on my face after feeling down for a while. It's really inspiring watching someone do what they are very passionate about. thanks for visiting, Puebla is really beautiful with a lot of history, we have a lot of historic buildings and there's has to be an approval (i don't remember if its only from our goverment or an Institute dedicated to preserve this buildings) so owners can restore them (sorry my english is not great lol) but i hope anyone who wants to visit can see them because they're so beautiful and our food is great too

Did a study abroad for a couple of months there in Puebla. It’s beautiful. Go visit the Zocalo and the pottery factory there. The food is amazing too.

Hey! You should try and stop by Querétaro, Santiago De Querétaro. Such a beautiful place and you’ll definitely love it! Andddd not to mention it’s one of the most historical places in Mexico, I know how much you love your history. Definitely worth the trip.

😂 there won’t be a new video until I run into something interesting to film. I honestly don’t mind filming everyday but as the views on this video suggests, and is I’ve said on multiple occasions; filming hotels, museums, the gym, talking about books I read etc, bus journeys there’s little interest in that and if I now put out another video like this and then a third, views would be under 30 000 on every video posted until I film and adventure which is what people want… so it’s actually better to not film than to film unless as stated I am on an incredible journey or somewhere extremely unique. So it could be a while

I'm a new follower and I'm from Mexico. The reason you got a bigger shot-like glass is because mezcal must be drunk slowly so that you can feel the smokiness and flavors of it. That's why when you went to the mezcal and tequila bar, they gave you plenty of side snacks for you to eat them while drinking the shots. They clean the palat and at the same time they help adding different notes to the drink. (hope this can be helpful and you can give mezcal another chance)

I am not much of a hard drinker, I am more of a beer person, Mr Noodles can drink, he is the champ, I have reduced drinking a lot, I get some beer once in 3 months, it's great to see your videos again, I have been following your channel since a long time, love watching your videos
