Marie Curie is a role model for women. Her EQ and AQ were as high as her IQ. Albert Einstein's ex-wife was the top mathematics student in his class. He understood why women should not be underestimated. Marie Curie said she was taught that the way of progress was neither swift nor easy, and we can tell how humble and down-to-earth she was. Moreover, she and her husband did not exploit chances to get rich, they were selfless and lived for science and mankind. They deserve our deepest admiration and gratitude.

As a young girl, I remember researching M. CURIE and writing a report on her life and her accomplishments.
Inwardly, I admired her story and her perseverance through adversity, which I didn't quite understand until adulthood.
But to this day, I believe I unwittingly captured her spirit of not needing to cave to all social norms while pursuing knowledge with dignity and integrity.
    Boldness through resistance.
