Ive worn Scorpio since it first was offered. Personally, I like the non-PM the best, - although Ive worn both. For me, the Scorpio without a part and with perm tease looks best on me. It's one of my few wigs that don't have a lace front or part.
Thanks for the video. I would go with the regular. I personally like the small amount of lift the permittees gives, and no lace front is needed with those cute bangs.
Hi Deane, that is a good point, the bangs take away the need for a lace front unless you just like to wear it off your face. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Hi Monica, this is so similar to Alva which I love also; my first wig as Noriko and I have loved them ever since. Thank you so much for watching today and taking the time to leave a comment! xoxo
HUGE thanks to you for reviewing this wig. I have tried many many wigs - but honestly, Scorpio is still my absolute favorite. I have the regular scorpio in the absolute most beautiful red copper shade with lighter red and blonde highlights - the color is beyond georgeous, natural and vibrant.. I was hoping you might review other colors - I did really lilke the Nutmeg F you showed. Even though I would like to try the lace front - I don't honestly see a huge difference between the regular and the PM. I think that it is precisely because of the bangs. Bangs seem to minimize the fact that it has permatease. When I go out and wear Scorpio, I get so many compliments. I have been wearing scorpio for several years. Scorpio has beautiful natural movement too.
I have the basic cap Scorpio in Shadowed Custard and it’s really cute but I’m contemplating getting the PM for the lace front and mono part. I really do like those features so thanks for the comparison!
Hi Eileen, this style looks so cute on you…very flattering & youthful! Like you, I’m from the south & I like big hair😂 Permatease doesn’t bother me in the least. But I appreciate lace & monofilament as well…if it’s visible!!! I don’t like paying for high end features if they’re of no benefit. I save when I can AND I splurge when I can because some wigs are just worth it😁 For me, this would not be worth the splurge. Scorpio has been around for many years. The Rene of Paris Orchid Collection wigs were originally Revlon wigs. I think they may have added the PM version tho.
Hi Nancy, Scorpio is indeed a classic for a reason, it just always works! I hope Rene of Paris never stops making it as many people love it so much! Thank you so much for watching and commenting! xoxo
First, I love your videos, so thank you for showing us all these great wigs! As for the Scorpio, which has been my go to wig for years now, it's a no brainer for me. The Basic Cap is my choice, I feel the Part on the PM is too "wiggy" looking. It stands out too much for me. I only wish the Scorpio's would be more consistent in their wigs. Some I receive are perfect, and others the bangs are too sparse, making them almost unwearable. It's no fun trying to return a wig!
Hi Jane, I agree returning wigs is no fun at all! I actually like the basic cap as well, with the bangs I don't really feel a lace front is necessary unless we wanted to wear it off the face. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment! xoxo
Love them both but I always have bangs on my wigs so no lace front needed, for me anyway, also I love a rooted one, these are both so nice, sadly I do need an extended nape or my wigs will ride up at the back, I do use my hair dryer to do what you are doing here for touch ups, always moving but my hair dryer works really well to care for box hair or anything a wig needs, thanks for showing her to us, Happy New Year.
Love that blush color. Real strawberry blond. I don't know that the lace front adds a lot, given the bangs, but I think the PM looks more realistic on top. If I was getting it for the first time, I think I would start with the basic cap. Then, if I really liked it and wanted a more realistic parting space, I would spend the extra. Thanks for the information.
I personally think the basic cap is the way to go on this one unless you wanted to wear the fibers off your face, otherwise the basic is fine. Thanks for watching Mary, have a great day! xoxo
Could you do a review of Sandy silver in the same wig? How does it compare to Blair by Jon Renau in length on the sides, I am about a 11.5” from top of my front crown to sides? Blair is 6.75 I think, and it is long on me, but it says length of the sides? I need bangs, how well does the lace front hold up if you put it on and off a lot? I need height, so would the permatease be better? Which of these two are heavier, I like a lot of hair? Thanks for the review.
Hi, there are so many video that explain the difference in caps, ones that have lace front, mono tops, full hand tied as well as showing what permatease it (think of it as permanent teasing, like if you back combed your hair). Thanks so much for watching! xoxo
As a senior I need the height that permatease gives on the top of my head. When I started wearing wigs I thought I looked strange when I had so much more hair than I was used to seeing. As I became accustomed to my new younger look I realized how lucky we are to have such miracles available. I definitely would NOT buy the deluxe Scorpio.
Hi Nancy, think of permatease as "built in" volume, like if you back combed your hair to get lift; it is not of everyone but I love it! Thanks for watching and have a great week ahead! xoxo
Hi Carla, I'm not quite sure and would hate to give you incorrect information, these are from WigStudio1.com they will have all the available shades on their website. xoxo
Hi, there is really no way to answer that question because what is best for one person might not be for another. In my opinion it is a personal choice that depends on what your needs are, if you like more of a lifted look you would opt for the regular style if you want a bit more sleek then the PM would work. Thank you so much for watching today and have a great weekend!
I hope you enjoy this fun video, SAVE vs SPLURGE! Let's chat about these two wigs! xoxo
I love your reviews. Despite years of struggling with alopecia and wigs, i still have frustration and anxiety. Your manner is calming! ❤
Ive worn Scorpio since it first was offered. Personally, I like the non-PM the best, - although Ive worn both. For me, the Scorpio without a part and with perm tease looks best on me. It's one of my few wigs that don't have a lace front or part.
I think Scorpio is such a cute style and it lasts so long as well. Thank you again for watching and commenting!
What a great comparison! I’d love to see more examples that fall into a dupes/similar style category.
Thanks so much for watching Becky! xoxo
Thanks for the video. I would go with the regular. I personally like the small amount of lift the permittees gives, and no lace front is needed with those cute bangs.

Very nice. It reminds me of Alva a lot which I have and I love. I love Noriko wigs because they are so durable.
Very cute on you. ❤

I love this format! Please do more. I'd buy the traditional cap ...no need for the lace front with the bangs.
Thank you for watching today Holly, I am so glad you enjoyed this video! Have a great week! xoxo

Hi Margaret, I agree, I started with the basic and then went for the lace front later. Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! xoxo
Loved the comparison video.
I prefer the first one i think 😍
I like these conparisons. I choose just scorpio. I'm on a budget and they are so similar.
I agree the wefted version is a great choice! xoxo
Nice comparison. I think I would stay with the cheaper one. I like the roomy open cap. You hardly know you have a wig on.
I personally think the basic cap is the way to go on this one unless you wanted to wear the fibers off your face, otherwise the basic is fine. Thanks for watching Mary, have a great day! xoxo
I prefer to splurge a little. Enjoy your videos. Very informative.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video Sheila, have a great week! xoxo

Please explain what is perma tease, mono part and lace cap. Thanks so much. 9:12

Love basic caps!

I totally agree!
Does the scorpio with the mono have as much permeates as the one without?
Love these helpful videos!!
If there is a mono top there will always be less permatease than a basic cap. Thanks so much for watching!
@@Crazywiglady thank you for your answer.
Really helpful. Thank you!
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment and watch today! xoxo
I love comparison videos 👌
Me too Clara, so much fun! Thanks for watching! xoxo
What is perma tease?
Hi Nancy, think of permatease as "built in" volume, like if you back combed your hair to get lift; it is not of everyone but I love it! Thanks for watching and have a great week ahead! xoxo
I’m going for tge splurge!
❤
Does the PM have rooted colors?
Hi Carla, I'm not quite sure and would hate to give you incorrect information, these are from WigStudio1.com they will have all the available shades on their website. xoxo
Which one is best scorpio or scorpio pm?
Thx
Hi, there is really no way to answer that question because what is best for one person might not be for another. What is permanent tease
Permatease is built in lift, like back combing your hair.
I think for this style, I'd go with the basic cap. These comparison videos are very helpful.
Glad you like them Elle and thanks for watching! xoxo
