The ending could have been better, I liked Korra herself but Mako and Asami weren't interesting characters, Bolin was loveble but like the former two didn't have a story, much developement and weren't memorable, like Sokka or Iroh, for example
i can't help sadness this music cuases in me. I'm literally crying. avatar changed my life. and the music is really beautiful. I'm getting too emotional while listening to this. i love that unknown feeling i get when i listen to this. i love it.
I just finished watching LOK for the first time, I've never cried so much over a finale in any show, ATLA made me cry but i realized that I had korra, and now that korra ended, I feel empty, I feel as if nothing is going to fill the the space that ATLA and LOK left behind. I'm so glad I decided to watch ATLA a few months ago, ATLA has taught me life lessons that I will never forget, both of these shows have helped through rough times, and all though I'm just seeing these shows for the first time now, I will forever remember these shows. Sadly, all good things must come to an end... Thank you ATLA and LOK ❤️
@Cilantro definitely recommend it (if you haven't started it already) first 2 seasons are rough around the edges but it gets better. And there's also Rebels which is the sequel series to it
@Chris Paez Same but with a girl i liked when i was in school.. This song just hits me with all the great things we could have become but.. Reality is often disappointing.
You know what I just realized? Both main couples in the Avatar franchise have names that start with an "A" and a "K" and both have Avatars in the relationship. Not to mention both are strong, healthy relationships based on trust and affection.
I finished the series today for the first time. Amazing show. This song and the final scene. I nearly cried. So many more people should give this show a chance.
every few months i come back to this and im always moved by how a song can have so much bittersweetness packed into it... it feels familiar.. it feels hopeful.. it feels like a warm farewell... im tearbending btw
I cannot understand the hate for this show, people need to open their minds to change. Korra losing the connection to her past lives because of UNALAQ was a change that made me really uncertain and is just shitty writing like all of season 2. But the other 3 seasons really redeem the show in my opinion. I loved Bolin and Korra, definitely the better written and fleshed out characters. Asami is alright, Mako is unlikeable but whatever. But in the end this show was amazing and I prefer it to ATLA
It was a great show I think it would have been a lot more enjoyable for me if I watched Korea first then Avatar. But one of the main things I didn’t like about Korea was how it completely changed the spirit realm and it really ruined its mysteries. But otherwise yeah I like the show (especially merlo)
Everyone's flocking here since the one with millions of views was taken down. This seems to be the one and only left on RUclips, hopefully it won't get taken down as well. Fingers crossed
Idk why but this score brings tears to my eyes. It’s such a beautiful piece of music & it brings Korra to life. Especially being with the one who she truly loves.
I grew up on Alta and Lok and its one of my favorite shows. I think alot of people have issues with Korra and its understandable but Lok always holds a special place in my heart and Ill never forget the times when a new episode came out and my brother would watch it and he would make me his special ramen recipe those were some of the happiest times in my life and Korra made such an impact on my life with itd flaws and all :,)
Literally this series made me discover that no matter how much you lose everything you always move on I watched such a good series that I saw it in 4 days when I saw the scene of Tenzin and Korra I cried too much, I am writing this comment while I am crying because this series It made me happy that I never appreciated my life, my family and friends more. This song made me cry because the scene where this song is played is so emotional
Just finished watching legends of korra and when this scene played I started to cry because of how connected you become to the characters and when the show finally ended my mind was thinking this can’t be the end trying to deny it the thing Is the friends korra made along way you can hardly find friends like them nowadays i just felt emotional connected to the characters Nickelodeon knew what they were doing
When I first saw the ending of this series, I didn't appreciate it they way I should've, I was thirteen and confused as to why Korra was ending up with Asami in the final minutes of the show. It took me until I was fifteen to really start to get why this was so important and how genuinely groundbreaking this moment was for tv in the 2010's. I'm almost 22 now, and a proud lesbian, and I can genuinely say that this show helped me find myself.
When you’re young the world seems strange until you can grasp it more understandingly. You learn more about the world, life, new people, make new experiences, and so on you grow as an individual. You can be proud of yourself and cherish your journey.
LOK sweet memories. Baby Korra reveal herself as Avatar infront of white lotus, finally meeting aang and her past lifes, Book 2 exploring her bond with her father, Baby Korra having tea with Iroh, 3 of Aang childrens going on a trip and bonding, Tenzin childrens going on mission to locate Korra, Korra with Katara, Zuko and Toph of TLA gang, Air Nation reborn, Lin and Suyin getting over their differences, Bolin becoming movie star and his romance with Opal, and many more
I don't know why, although I've never finished this series and after many years, its music has still stuck with me and leaves an aching feeling yearning for more. It makes me wish for this magical universe to live on.
You should finish the series. I just binged it last week cause i was kinda scared off by a lot of people complaining that its shit and "not like The Last Airbender". Personally I really enjoyed it eventhough the writing isnt as good. Its still a beautiful story (if you look at the overall meaning of the seasons) with a very beautiful ending.
@@exedius1869 this series is just as good if not better than the original. Definitely more mature and with more relatable themes to a mature audience not to mention extremely tense moments. I started it and finished it college right after rewatching Air Bender and I couldn't see why people hated it other than it not being what they wanted. That and how the protagonist was an overconfident female "Aang would never" - type of people.
@@Lalo3g1 Yeah I think the only "bad" part of lok is the sometimes "rushed" story which comes with multiple antagonists instead of one (like in Air bender). But over all it really feels like a more matured version of Air bender which is really great
@@exedius1869 Personally I don't like how a lot of negative events in the show are brushed off and not mentioned later, such as the destruction of thousands of peoples' homes by spirit vines, or the loss of all Avatar past lives. I would have liked if they placed more emphasis on how spirits and the Spirit World were portrayed in ATLA, because it is more mystical and tugs at my imagination. Maybe even Korra visiting the Southern Air Temple Sanctum to see the old avatar statues. But, we didn't get that, and I feel like it was a missed opportunity. This is my outlook on it.
@Nog try searching, "legend of Korra" on Spotify, a list should show up and the song should be called lengend of Korra end theme. Or something similar.
I love how Avatar’s Love gives a feeling of a pure, innocent first love and this theme gives a feeling of an older, more mature love that’s been through many hardships
This tune is so sad yet inspiring at the same time. Both series, ATLA and LOK is an era of my youth that I am grateful for. I remember when ATLA came out, my cousin was three years old. I’d pick him up early from daycare just so we can watch it together. He’s 18 now, and my favorite person in my lifetime. We literally, till this day still text each other about both series. Just yesterday I was tell him about some of the backstories. Both books hold a very special place in my heart. Forever. #EarthBender
Something I love so much about Lok's finale was how much it focused on Korra's journey now only beginning. She feels that she's only just begun her journey as the avatar, there was a wedding to start a new life, there's a new democracy in the Earth Kingdom, Tenzin feels hopeful for the future, there's a brand new Spirit Portal in republic City. I love that so much. Legend of Korra's finale wasn't about closure, it was the beginning of a new chapter.
I really love legend of korra the emotional rollercoaster it makes you feel is just something else I just wish i could erase ny memories to watch it again
Atla was imo was like for younger teens because for me when i first watched both atla and lok at 13 i liked atla wayyy more But now that i am 18 and i watched both again i gravitated more towards lok , i found it more interesting emotional and so much more i just can't explain
This show deserves more respect! I don’t know one show with such a beautiful story with so many emotions, so wise and creative! The music the style everything was just amazing
True beauty cannot be expressed through words....You know when you listen to this you can feel a force around you like its making you feel happiness, sadness and peace at the same time...
U don't know how many times I got the chills hearing this, especially during both finales. It's like the world is finally at peace and all the wars are over, and its the beginning of a new life.
Cant stop hearing this. I've seen the series few years ago, came back a week ago and seen every episode of both series, ang and korra, this song will stay in me forever

I CRY ALL THE TIME I WATCH THEM WALK INTO THE PORTAL. I’m attached to those characters in a way BAHA weird ikk but ugh why’d it have to end :(
I love all the love that people give LOK and the comments, I wish I could answer everyone, because find people who love and enjoy this work of art as much as I do is exciting! LOK taught me a lot and will always be in my heart ... Thanks to the legend, thanks Korra ❤️
You know after coming back here so many times it's one of those ost's that never get boring or stale and always either puts me to a blubbery mess or gives me a big smile, sometimes both :') but it's poetic that the last word in both shows is perfect because these shows really were perfect and defined a generation.
It’s amazing reading all these comments. The entire Avatar series has changed my life and everyone else’s. These soundtracks just take me back to when I was young
Notice how at the very, very end, they include a hint of the "Love Of The Avatar" motif from the first series. The love that Aang felt for Katara lives on in the Avatar spirit through Korra, even though Aang is no longer around to feel it. Right in the heart.
My birthday was yesterday and since then I've been listening to this song each year to reminiscence about this show and this ending. Happy 6 year anniversary to this finale
The ending of LOK was more then just an ending of a show to me. To me this song and the show in general represents the ending of my childhood, as I grow and change out of the mindset of a child and into that of an adult. I know that may be cringe to some people but that is just how I feel.
The sound of this theme really feel weird and strange (in a good way). I felt like all of my emotion is getting played when each of the instrument start playing. I felt sad, happy, and weird. This theme really makes me feel... weird. It making me feel deceived by my own emotion, like I want to be happy and i am happy... but deep down i felt really sad too.
I love this song so much, it makes me feel a variety of emotions from happy to sad to hopeful. Like the final few seconds make me look forward to my future and at the same time help find closure whether that be my past or something else. I feel as though this music helps provide a lesson on life, the lesson being to make the most of what we have and take any opportunity we find in our lives. I feel like this meaning is especially as impactful as we're in a time of a global pandemic and everything is terrifying and so many horrible things are happening. This song definitely makes me think of my own future and that's another thing that scares me as I got no clue what's going to happen but hearing this makes me feel strong. I hear this everyday for awhile now and I'm just seeing the views slowly increase overtime and I love how people still remember this despite being 6 years old. In a way this song is making me a better person, giving me the hope of one day finding my own path and relationship with someone I would love when I meet her like Korra did with Asami. So not only does this song make me think about the future but also relationships with those close to me and those who I have yet to meet. One of my aspirations is to be an actor but I'm studying something different though could fit well with my course but at the end of the day it's still something I want as it helped give me life and meaning, so whether I could do that in live action or in a studio as a voice actor like the people in this show did, I'd be extremely happy with that. So I thank Jeremy Zuckerman and the creators of this show for helping me see that and helping me try to make a future that I strive to achieve.
The only reason many people hate this show is because Aang isn’t in it. Trust me, at some point I didn’t even care for it since he wasn’t going to be apart of the full story but honestly with or without Aang or any of the past beloved characters the show is so amazing with top notch animation and fighting scenes, graphics that look other worldly and so much more. The show offers a ton of different things that makes it different and beautiful, not to mention Korra is such a strong and will powered avatar, she faces some of the toughest, scariest villains ever. I think anyone who loved ATLA would love The Legend of Korra, it’s different but in a very good way because you grow to love more characters meet new faces and see how well the prior show’s characters play a major role in literally everything that happens. Give her a try, you won’t regret it! First season starts out a bit slow and kinda boring.. but it gets super good as it progresses meeting two powerful benders
I absolutely love the little motif of "Avatar's Love" from ATLA playing at the very end (2:55). It is very sentimental because it plays in the final scene of ATLA right before Aang and Katara's kiss, which makes it very powerful to confirm Korrasami in the final moments of LOK during a time when LGBTQ+ representation on kids shows was something we hadn't seen very much at all. Very powerful last five seconds of the series!
The reason why evryone loves this song so much is because it has parts of the old atla finale song "the avatars love" you can't really tell until you try to hear it but its slowed down
2:54 to be exact is where you can find a direct copy from that song, I guess it was their little way of tying the two series together in a nice bow for us as a goodbye huh? I'm not crying you are 😢
isn't this song so meaningful? it feels like it's talking to me, with it's pain, it's tears, it's happiness and it's hope. it will always make me cry...
Literally this series made me discover that you have to take advantage of what you have because Korra lost almost everything and was still good and strong. I saw so much of her in 4 days and I saw myself enough so that in the last scene of Korra and tension I I started to cry and when I fell asleep I dreamed of a new episode created by me, when I saw this series I never appreciated my life, my family and my friends more and in the end it teaches you a good message. Idk why some people are mad about the ending but I'm literally crying i just finished it a while ago😭
The ending could have been better, I liked Korra herself but Mako and Asami weren't interesting characters, Bolin was loveble but like the former two didn't have a story, much developement and weren't memorable, like Sokka or Iroh, for example
Remember when the last word in ATLA was also 'perfect'? I just realized..
i can't help sadness this music cuases in me.

@Cilantro I've heard about it, I'm going to check it out. Thank you :)
Same I watched these two shows and the clone wars to distract myself from all shit in the world

every few months i come back to this and im always moved by how a song can have so much bittersweetness packed into it... it feels familiar.. it feels hopeful.. it feels like a warm farewell... im tearbending btw
I agree, and I thought Mako was likeable but they gave up on him he could've been more.
There's some parts I hate but on the whole I don't.
It was a great show I think it would have been a lot more enjoyable for me if I watched Korea first then Avatar. But one of the main things I didn’t like about Korea was how it completely changed the spirit realm and it really ruined its mysteries. But otherwise yeah I like the show (especially merlo)
@@xynthar4432 same though even without those it has problems

Idk why but this score brings tears to my eyes.
It’s such a beautiful piece of music & it brings Korra to life. Especially being with the one who she truly loves.
The fact we can't hear this or other tracks from Korra on spotify or buy the albums still saddens me.
“But I feel like I’ve only just begun. There’s so much more I want to learn and do.”
Connor 9 “You don’t know how happy I am to hear you so full of hope again.”
Baby Korra reveal herself as Avatar infront of white lotus, finally meeting aang and her past lifes, Book 2 exploring her bond with her father, Baby Korra having tea with Iroh, 3 of Aang childrens going on a trip and bonding, Tenzin childrens going on mission to locate Korra, Korra with Katara, Zuko and Toph of TLA gang, Air Nation reborn, Lin and Suyin getting over their differences, Bolin becoming movie star and his romance with Opal, and many more
Last sentence of TLoK: Sounds Perfect...
Couldn’t agree with you more Korra... 🥺
@@exedius1869 Everyone who says "not like The Last Airbender" didn't watch it until the end.

Man legend of Korra is underated, I hope that after the liveaction last airbender they remake korra and give it the justice it deserves
Yeah i want to see the Korrasami on the big screen 8)
I don’t want it remade, just expanded on … and I don’t mean with them old af with a new avatar.
korra is underhated
Something I love so much about Lok's finale was how much it focused on Korra's journey now only beginning. She feels that she's only just begun her journey as the avatar, there was a wedding to start a new life, there's a new democracy in the Earth Kingdom, Tenzin feels hopeful for the future, there's a brand new Spirit Portal in republic City. I love that so much. Legend of Korra's finale wasn't about closure, it was the beginning of a new chapter.
I really love legend of korra the emotional rollercoaster it makes you feel is just something else
I just wish i could erase ny memories to watch it again
Atla was imo was like for younger teens because for me when i first watched both atla and lok at 13 i liked atla wayyy more
But now that i am 18 and i watched both again i gravitated more towards lok , i found it more interesting emotional and so much more i just can't explain

Watch it. Seriously.
I recorded all Chinese instruments with the composer Jeremy Zuckerman, he is one of my favorite composers in Hollywood.
The amount of emotion this song got out of me is unexplainable
Notice how at the very, very end, they include a hint of the "Love Of The Avatar" motif from the first series. The love that Aang felt for Katara lives on in the Avatar spirit through Korra, even though Aang is no longer around to feel it. Right in the heart.
My birthday was yesterday and since then I've been listening to this song each year to reminiscence about this show and this ending. Happy 6 year anniversary to this finale
Happy Belated Birthday
The ending of LOK was more then just an ending of a show to me. To me this song and the show in general represents the ending of my childhood, as I grow and change out of the mindset of a child and into that of an adult. I know that may be cringe to some people but that is just how I feel.
tbh dont cry because it ended, smile because it happened
This music is good for the soul. It helps me a lot when I feel low to embrace my emotions and overcome the hard times
It's really been 8 years, crazy
The sound of this theme really feel weird and strange (in a good way). I felt like all of my emotion is getting played when each of the instrument start playing. I felt sad, happy, and weird. This theme really makes me feel... weird. It making me feel deceived by my own emotion, like I want to be happy and i am happy... but deep down i felt really sad too.
I totally agree! What a great way to describe it
I love this song so much, it makes me feel a variety of emotions from happy to sad to hopeful. So I thank Jeremy Zuckerman and the creators of this show for helping me see that and helping me try to make a future that I strive to achieve.
oh man i cried for you

This song never gets old.
Even when it does, it still sounds good.
I’ll always remember the fun times I’ve had in my lifetime.
This song will never fail to make me sob.
So calming, so conclusive!

My favorite part
I miss this show😭😭😭😭😭😭
I absolutely want to use this theme at my wedding
I absolutely love the little motif of "Avatar's Love" from ATLA playing at the very end (2:55). It is very sentimental because it plays in the final scene of ATLA right before Aang and Katara's kiss, which makes it very powerful to confirm Korrasami in the final moments of LOK during a time when LGBTQ+ representation on kids shows was something we hadn't seen very much at all. Very powerful last five seconds of the series!
This version of the song playing while there talking just makes the scene so much better and puts u at peace

The reason why evryone loves this song so much is because it has parts of the old atla finale song "the avatars love" you can't really tell until you try to hear it but its slowed down
