Hi. Good video. Keep your eyes out at your pick n pulls and look for a couple of the originals. The originals had 2 tabs-hence the 2 slot's for some reason the repro's didn't think to add the 2nd snap in stub. Which is what sucked the side piece to the body preventing it catching on the strap. Since the new 1's exclude these extra tabs .2 optional improvements either add a smootch of 3m weather strip adhesive to the inside back edge-which would help keep it flush or add a phillip's screw from the back side into the rubber block. Just a thought and thought I would pass it along. Thumbs up as always !
@@OvensGarage the og crew does cause I took them off my 93. But with the side mount slot they always get messed up and the strap ends up getting behind the main rubber piece
I found LMC prices good but, there shipping is outrageous. We have found RockAuto carries the same stuff with much better shipping rates.. Hopefully RockAuto has those bumpers
Life saver…bought immediately
After driving it for a bit I can already tell you it helps a ton! No more tailgate strap noise for me....

Good point! Will see how these ones hold up over time with just the single tabs.
You need to replace your Geno’s garage T-shirt with an Ovens garage one lol lol 😂 😂
I like how these LMC ones don't have the piece that goes in to the hole to the side.
Good point, I wonder how these will hold up over time. Do either of your trucks have them factory?

Yeah the shipping is outrageous especially to Canada. Unfortunately I believe this is an lmc exclusive item.
@@OvensGarage You correct, I searched around and found nothing so I guess I will have to bite the bullet on this one.
No it’s a wietzke thing. Your cousin wanted to trade in her brand new SUV for a small raddled. Lol. Only you guys.
