@@worldofronnie Yes. It's a 3DCG anime, but it's still good. It was on Netflix, but they took it out years ago. Luckily for me, I have 2 limited edition blu-ray boxsets.
Unfortunately, this compilation only shows 1/20th of the mecha/sci-fi/robot anime I grew up watching in Japan.😢 I would have liked to see the new Cyborg 009 series, Reiji Matsumoto's works (Galaxy Express 999, Space Battleship Yamato, Captain Harlock), Sunrise's 80s works following Gundam(Fang of the Sun Dougram, Armored Trooper Votoms), and the Time Bokan series included.😅 P.S.: Please also look for "Galaxy Drifter Vifam", "Blue Comet SPT Layzner", "Super Dimension Century Orguss", "Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross", "Gasaraki", etc.😊 Further P.S.: Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino made a 180-degree turn to a brighter worldview after being criticized for the excessive darkness of the worldview of "Space Runaway Ideon" in "Combat Mecha Xabungle"; Yoshiyuki Tomino retired from the front line due to exhaustion from the production of "Mobile Suit Victory Gundam", and produced "Brain Powered" for the satellite broadcasting WOWOW in preparation for his retirement. The WOWOW production "OVERMAN King Gainer" followed; the character designs for the film adaptation of Haruka Takachiho's SF picaresque novel "Crusher Joe" were done by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, the character designer for "Brave Raideen", "Invincible Superman Zambot 3", and "Mobile Suit Gundam", and the TV anime series created by this duo was "Dirty Pair", which is a SF that shares the same worldview and timeline as the above-mentioned Crusher Joe, but this is not included (although there are no robots in it 😅 Also, "Giant God Gorg," which Yoshikazu Yasuhiko directed from the original story to the animation and direction 30 years before "Gundam Origin," is not included 😔 Then, "Mobile Police Patlabor" was adapted into a movie with a hard setting by Mamoru Oshii, the director of "Ghost in the Shell," and 30 years later, it is considered that reality has finally caught up (and in the 21st century, Oshii also made it into a live-action series)... I'm sure there are many more sci-fi works that I can't remember right now 😅
gundam is like 50+ years old and yeah there are spin offs and a main timeline, the main timeline follows the original 1979 gundam show and there are quite a lot of sequels within said main timeline and you got alternate universes or spin offs which is where I would suggest a new gundam watcher to begin because most spin off series are only like one or two seasons at best and they give you a good idea of what to expect from gundam not to mention they are all very unique. With that said react to all gundam openings 😂
thank ronnie for do this btw as super robot fan can i request this to your list Evolution of super robot war 1991-2021 from nickioh channel there are games name super robot wars that they choose some series like code geass and many cross over in game

Have you ever heard of Knights of Sidonia? It's also a mecha anime. Season 1 OP is fire, in my opinion.
