Oh god the memories I have of this ride... the scenery in the waiting line... the music... that incredible launch! It absolutely breaks my heart this was all erased for some soulles commercial for Marvel.
From a vibrant coaster with nice rock song , where you go through neon rings to a soulles coaster with an iron man animatronic and just no light , it's dark and you don't see anything inside. Good job Disneyland , at least you can please the 9 years old lol
I feel about the same as you do... Disney has made some awful decisions in the last few years just to draw in fans of their franchises (mostly 7-year olds I might add).
My first looping roller coaster. I went in with my mother. Normally I always screamed with excitement on roller coasters when I was 9 but not in this one. I was completely blown away by the launch followed by the dual role and the dark environment full of lights and music. It remains my most favorite roller coaster. My mom stopped going on roller coasters with me after that, but I was just getting started. When my parents asked me how I liked the roller coaster, I struggled to describe everything I had experienced. I liked it. Was all I could say at the time. But my experience was worth more than a few words. The last time I went on the rock 'n' rollercoaster. I went in over and over again.
'Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute!' I'll never forget hearing that, distorted and momentous, on the tannoy as our carts turned the corner for the intial propulsion; it put you on edge.
So sad to see this classic ride go! Got so many great childhood memories on this and was my favourite ride in Hollywood Studios. Thank you for uploading this!
This was the first big coaster I ever went on and I remember being absolutely terrified as soon as I got to the point in the queue where you could see the launch. I’d never witnessed something like it before 😂 absolutely loved it once it started though. I’ll need to visit again once they’ve rethemed it because I can’t miss out on the Star Wars theming on space mountain 2
I cant believe they replaced its incredible theming with an IP consisting of screens, bland walls, and terrible lighting... Miss you Rock N Roller Coaster :(

RIP Rock 'n rollercoaster :'( I remember outside, in the waiting line with the grey railing, they used to play tons of rock songs... One of them was In The End, by Linkin Park. I used to sing the lyrics with my friends while waiting :) In the 1st hall, you could even reach for the giant guitar and fret its giant strings. they made no sound and were a bit too loose lol.. Also the "pre-show" with Aerosmith was awesome YEARS ago, especially when they turned off all the lights. I don't know how they pulled this off but it felt like the band was there, some distance away from us. As the ride aged, the display didn't always work, sometimes the effects on the pre-show were messed up... I remember at some point, I did the ride with all the lights ON, inside the main room: it was actually scarier than in the dark because you could see where everything was and it felt like a faster experience... I have great memories of this ride and I remember each seat having speakers not too far from each ear. The tracks they played were random just like the lights inside the main room. Sometimes the music was on, sometimes it was off... I did this ride more than times than I can count.. More than 20 times that's for sure!! :D Still, if you're not the kind of roller coaster super fan geek who analyses every turn and loop, each experience on Rock 'n roller coaster felt slightly different! I wonder what they did with all the rock and roll memorabilia inside.. I hope nothing was lost. it would be best they could find a way for rock artifacts to be on display somewhere.

cliché Tower of Terror is just outside the Marvel Land and the ride fits with the 1930s theme the entrance has which is staying according to the concept art. Disney also just spent lots of money refurbishing the facade so it looks like it’s not changing for now
The ToT at Paris was supposed to be built before the one in California, they said they want a unique ToT attraction in each park so they will very likely keep it the way it is today. Plus I heard they're gonna add random drops?
My first looping coaster was 30 min before i did this one. I went on Indiana Jones and really liked it. Straight onto this one. That launch left my stomach behind. It was amazing

I remember riding this for the first time when i was 7 (2008), i've never had a best experience in another roller coaster like this. Some years later, in 2015, we were going back to Disneyland, but this time with my little brother, who had 8 years old, i told him about this atraction and he did not believe me when I told him that this attraction was the best of the studio, until he came in, i remember his face, looking this attraction, with his eyes more rounder than a plate, and the mouth so open that it almost touches the ground, my brother got dizzy after riding it, but he loved it and wanted to ride it again when he was older... It was very sad when I told him that the attraction was closing.
What this roller coaster don't exists anymore? Why? It hurs. I was 13 i think when we gone with the soccer club to france. We was there too and i was so fascinated about this coaster. I listened to rock in these times too but don't knew Manu bands but with this coaster I heard aerosmith for the first time and started to love this band
Well, it was great riding RRC 7 times in a row, but it turns out... They're theaming it to Marvel and its been rumoured they're getting rid of the whold pre-recorded Aerosmith video and getting rid of the launch.

California adventure has the incredacoaster as a signature attraction, this ride's original version was in Hollywood studios in florida and is a staple their so I disagree.

operators have to switch regularly for everyone to have equal break hours amongst other reasons, they sometimes dont have any time to change before they have to go, but most of the time its only to replace for like 15mins so its "ok" if theyre not in costume

So so so fun. It must have been what, 20 years ago that I was there. I guess we were lucky with the queues, we rode it 6 times in a row. The soundtrack is a major part of the experience, sadly missing here. Great to see the vibe though.

C'était une des meilleures ce qui ne sera pas le cas de iron man coaster malheureusement celui ci sera un échec !! Les gens pensent que le faites que seulement le faites que se soit que le décors et l'ambiance qui change ça sera pareille mais au final non l'univers rock et tout ce qu'elle avait va nous manquer !

Thankfully the one in Florida is still here but this one is a bit better and also Disney’s need to re-skin every classic attraction with Marvel these past few years is getting excessive. Literally every park has fallen victim to it… Sad stuff.
lmaooo I went when I was 10 and I BEGGED my parents to go on this because my bestfriend had told me this one was the best one to go on and the whole queue I was so so excited until the coaster before ours set off and I saw how fast it went and I just burst into tears😂😂
I much preferred the story of this ride over the one in Florida (which feels really outdated), but I'm looking forward to Walt Disney Studios getting some love and excited for how they will integrate Iron Man into this ride.

unfortunately never been able to go in this ride. I used to be scared as hell for coasters with inversions, so when we went to DLP last week, I was finally at the point where I wanted to try it. went in Indiana Jones first, because it only has one inversion, I loved it so much, we went to Hyperspace Mountain after, I loved it even more. So when we went to the studios the day after, I only then realised it has been closed for a while now. I remember genuinely being sad years back because I was afraid of going in. So unfortunately I will no be able to try it anymore.
I can't believe that this amazing really cool coaster will close and... it's just a nightmare for every person that is a big fan of this coaster.. damn i wish they were able to tell us that it won't close 😥😟😔

Thankfully the one in Florida is still here but this one is a bit better and also Disney’s need to re-skin every classic attraction with Marvel these past few years is getting excessive. Literally every park has fallen victim to it… Sad stuff.

lmaooo I went when I was 10 and I BEGGED my parents to go on this because my bestfriend had told me this one was the best one to go on and the whole queue I was so so excited until the coaster before ours set off and I saw how fast it went and I just burst into tears😂😂

This was the first roller coaster I ever rode, I always wanted to ride it again but I guess that won’t happen now 😥
I much preferred the story of this ride over the one in Florida (which feels really outdated), but I'm looking forward to Walt Disney Studios getting some love and excited for how they will integrate Iron Man into this ride.

Probablement un manque de staff sur rock pour x ou y raison. Généralement dans ces cas là, on fait appelle à des cast checkés et disponible à proximité. C’est pour ça qu’on peut voir des cast de Flight à web par exemple.

unfortunately never been able to go in this ride.
I used to be scared as hell for coasters with inversions, so when we went to DLP last week, I was finally at the point where I wanted to try it.
went in Indiana Jones first, because it only has one inversion, I loved it so much, we went to Hyperspace Mountain after, I loved it even more.
So when we went to the studios the day after, I only then realised it has been closed for a while now.
I remember genuinely being sad years back because I was afraid of going in.
So unfortunately I will no be able to try it anymore.
