I saw the videos in the same order so that statement stood out to me as well. Matthew Boling will be much better off without the constant hype. He will very likely win a NCAA outdoor title in the next couple of years.
Brandon is 30 years my younger and, true story, vowed to me at 12 years old he would break my 20+ year old HS 800m record of 1:58 (he was on sports teams with my nephew). He broke 1:51 as a freshman!!..and finished with 1:48 or 1:49 senior year! We went to the same HS in St Louis. Pulling for Miller in this one!
Your commentaries are always fun, but I can see more excitement in this one because it is your distance. It''s clear you are still out there in spirit.
You need to be doing the Live commentary for these meets 👍🏼 This was way more informative and more exciting than anything I heard on the Live broadcast
Great race love the 400and 800. The third 220 is where Peter Snell would make his move….it’s the mental breaker. When you see someone making a move at this spot there is a great chance you break mentally.
If you run in Lane 2 for a whole turn, you end up running about an extra 6 meters compared to running in lane 1, or about 12 meters if you do the whole lap, and even more if you're in the lanes outside of those ones.
Brandon Miller is not going away. My son ran against him in various AAU Nationals. Here is one at 14 when he ran 1:51. 14! ruclips.net/video/15QihZ6kNYk/видео.html I watched this race live. I think this one was at Drake.
Hey Nick, Can you comment on what it was like to run an Olympic final against David Rudisha? Did you know at the time that he was a different kind of cat who was going to blast the 800 to new heights? It seems he's not going to Tokyo this year but what a graceful runner he was!
Nick, I am racing the 400 and the 4x400 at a hs track meet on Saturday. I was booted off the 800 (I ran 2:10 so another team member could run it). It is supposed to be over 90 degrees on the day of the meet. Any tips for racing in the heat?
I told you. Brandon Miller is the future of the 800. He has consistently gotten faster every year since he was like 10. He will not burn out. He might have won if he drafted behind Jewett. Not like Jewett is slow. I see a 1:39 coming.
Jeez that second place freshman was tough as nails. Led, then hung in there and that final surge to try and pass. Talent and guts.
Brandon Miller is a 5 time 800m and 1500m AAU record holder and champion
@@kristoferwong7869 Cool...didn't know about him. Gutsy race. 🤙
Last video Nick - I won't call Matt Boling White Lightning because I don't think he likes it.
This video Nick - "Mr. White Lightning himself"
Lmao what I was thinking

It seems we all don't think so differently

To get in the spirit of the Olympic Trials and the Games, I watched the 2012 Men's 800 Olympic final. Man, what a mind-blowing race!

yeah this video makes a lot more sense compared to the last one.
Yes, hearing about a winner instead of some guy that got 5th or 6th.
Sucks for the guy that got 4th. Thats the 2nd time he just got beaten by hunter
Totally agree with moving out on the straightaway with 290 to go. I love the 800 too Nick!!

Thank you for bringing out such beautiful & significant videos.
800m prelims tomorrow!
I’m glad my race could be looked at by the great Nick Symmonds!
the last 100m was in 14.5s lol
Awesome 800 metres.

Can’t wait for the 1500
Hey Nick you should react to Jakob Ingebrigsten. He recently defeated Joshua Cheptegei in the 5000m
Didnt you comment this exact same comment in the last video
Dude cheptegei hasn’t peaked yet for this year and Jacob did for that race lmao
Nah. That's disrespect.
Talking about the guy in 5th, not McLear in 3rd doing all the work for the chase pack
McLear also just finished his sophomore year, still has two more years
Crazy that both of them almost didn’t get through the semis. They sure showed up for the finals though
I would have liked to see Kam Jones up there too!

This was really really good
Nick, come to AZ
I hope he does
Poor Mclear...edged out of a place by Charlie twice now. That has to stink. Great race!
Now do the Women's 800m final, that was an eventful race
this was not on purpose at all, but me and Nick Symmonds have the same haircut right now! :D
Love this stuff so coooolll
what do you do with nerves before a match
Hey nick,
Can you tell us something about your running incidents or something ?😊😊
I learned more about nick than the runners!
when do we do those 800 hurdles nick???

Where is the twitch
Hey Nick, do you think 2:00 is a good time for a 14year old freshmen in high school?
It's good. Check milesplit for your state or athletic.net
Oh yeah it’s good! As you move into sophomore year and get more base miles in XC and in winter… next Year expect to go 1:57
1.44 Putting one finger in the air to say I’m no.1 no chance

Spend your money among different assert categories like Bitcoin and stock, then further allocate those funds within each category.
I invested in both gold and crypto. but crypto is more profitable.
Investing in cryptocurrency is one of the best chance of making money ..
Stocks are good, crypto is better.
@Richard nemajic That won't bother you if you trade with a professional like Mr Nicholas howard.
I heard that his strategies are really good!.
good video
I was wondering do you ever reach max heart rate during an 800m?
Hell yeah
I think Nick reaches maximum heart rate just watching a good 800m race!
