One of the highlights of the Guevarra-Benjamin match was when MVP stood in front of Shelton while Sammy was about to do a moonsault to the outside. That was a classic manager's move where it gave Shelton time to recover and anticipate Sammy's move. I think that MVP and the Hurt Syndicate have a chance to become another powerful stable ... if the audience can buy into them.
Important detail: Vince wasn't "removed" from his position. He resigned. His contract was so ironclad, the only way he could lose his job was death, incapacitation or resignation. How do people get away with contracts like this?

Kyle Fletcher has been unexpectedly awesome the past few months in the ring, but that promo was ridiculous. Literally no one was saying basically any of those things he claimed "everyone" was saying,and definitely no one was saying he looked it wrestled like Ospreay. Then he shaved off his hair as if that is some big statement to separate himself further from Ospreay, but their hair was literally nothing alike at all. I was at home feeling the same way as that live crowd..."wrap it up"
I’m sure he shaved his hair because it was clearly really over processed and needed a fresh start. Says me, who did the same thing during lockdown 2020. As for the rest - fake it ‘til you make it? 😂
The commentary team was and has been saying it for the last year. And some toxic fans about the accent, but mostly ones that never watch so it did feel like he was reaching there still, on Dynamite we could hear the commentary make the comparisons for quite some time even if we didn't make them. It did go on too long though I agree with that.
I was pissed that someone in the crowd spoiled the Jericho's role in the movie, I avoided all things Jericho about it. Oh Well I now I don't have to see it.
They really need to start booking smaller arenas. The empty seats, dead crowd and dark sections of the arena does the company no favors at all. It just seems depressing. It is such a poorly booked show that I found myself zoning out and just questioning the logic. When MJF said that he isn't returning until Full Gear you could hear the crowd actually groan. I don't blame them. Also why are we booking The Elite in the main event? They are practically the reason why people tune out. They have chased off half their audience. Do they have something on Tony or is he just a clueless moron?
Not going to dispute Tempest's review but.... (there's a but) did anyone notice that AEW was "promoting" their talent with clips, packages and review clips from the storylines from last week? I mean, they've not been known to do that, I welcome this simple manner of promoting wrestlers and storylines! ........ don't know how to end this but... Support WrestleTalk!
THIS is why I prefer good Ol Tempo reviewing AEW. He’s clearly a fan and can really highlight the good but won’t shy away from the bad and gives an honest assessment of the show. More Tempest please.
Isn't it ironic how Eric Bischoff is now in the WWE Hall Of Fame, while Vince McMahon might never go in? Think about it: the man who ran what was once WWE's biggest rival and came very close to putting that company out of business is in its Hall Of Fame, while the man who built that company and is responsible for most of its success might never be.

As how you looked and said your opinion on Dynamite as skippable it was not that fair I think because neither on Raw nor Smackdown there arent that big off a deals every week as well, even less things going on there in my opinion (but Im an AEW mark). But there are still some future story buildings everytime with some couple of good match ups every time. And this time the Dynamite was similar build but it was still needed and good I think. There are no need to bombshell every just to entertain in my opinion.
Funny how when they play hot potato with an AEW title whether it be the TNT title or the ROH title fans flip out, but when WWE does it with the IC belt and Brom Breaker constantly wins and loses it on a daily bases, fans and wrestling critics alike think it's great story telling. Both companies need to stop this ridiculous nonsense! I can't stand Brom Breaker because of it and I hate Jericho because of it and I couldn't stand it when Scorpio Sky and Sammy Gavro did! Both companies booking suck!

Other scandals probably partly deflection from ring boys scandal because this one is minors and that might be another, the first federal crime in wwf.
Good on Mark Brisco putting over that young talent that is Chris Jericho if only he was in WWE he would be the one to defeat that overrated unbeatable Gunther
