you can get to diamond with ana by literally following tanks around and holding left click into their back/s the whole game, never scoping in and probably without your cooldowns. scoping in is the least of a bronze player's concerns, imo
Technical feedback on the gameplay if anyone might find this useful: - Use the scope to the heal! - For new players I would make my crosshair bigger and colour it green. - Understand the difference between Ana projectile (unscoped) shots and her hitscan shots (scoped in) and when to use which. Also note the difference in reload speeds and field of vision. - Understand and practice quick-scoped shots and appreciate the lower fire rate as a trade-off. - Do things faster by animation cancelling: Shoot to heal (unscoped) and nade immediately afterwards. Plenty of times this would have saved an ally. Shoot plus sleep dart also works. - Understand how the hitboxes of your team and the enemy team work with Ana. Firing from the hip is forgiving in that the hitbox of your team mates is slightly bigger. The same does not apply to enemies, shots have to be exactly on them. The hitbox for sleep dart on enemies is slightly bigger. - Nade usage is a complex topic, but for bronze I would say that if your team is bundled up then use it or if the enemy team is bundled up use it, otherwise heal yourself. - Learn Ana combos: sleep, wait until wakeup animation, shoot then nade then shoot (using animation cancel). There are variants and other combos (like to deal with a Tracer) - Learn baiting tactics with Ana: Melee to let enemy think you are using the sleep dart so that they burn cooldowns. - Put nano boost sensitivity setting to 100% (and learn from the mistakes when you nano the wrong target) - Put relative aim sensitivity when scoping to between 38%-50%. When you get this done then we can focus on advance things like combos with other heros, looking away when nano boosting and nano boosting around corners, positioning, counterplay, etc. In short: Ana is a difficult hero and it took me in the beginning 100+ hrs to be "mildly" effective at her. Now it is pure fun playing her, but it takes a ton of practice.
Yeah, I think video tutorials on each character would be super helpful. Maybe have comp at level 50? I have a friend at level 50, and he’s probably the worst player I’ve ever seen tbh.
As a GM Ana player I would suggest not to Ana in Bronze I would say Lucio would be a better support to climb also the team had a mercy so the Lucio on a control map would be awsome especially Ilios. I would recommend if you want to play Ana make sure there is no 2 primory healers as there is no defencive ult and its a map that suits Ana. In GM is tend to play Moira or some case Mercy (if we have Pharah on control) as their mobility is good on a control. Ana is amazing on hybrid and 2cp because of sightlines and you can death ball. I wish good luck to this individual in their Ana progression and hope they continue to climb. My tips might not suit this person but just coming from somone who plays and loves Ana those are tips that aid me. Good luck.
I agree 100% with you. Ana, unless you have PLENTY of play time on her is not effective in bronze to carry for new players. I play Ana as my second "main" hero and it took me (back then) over 100 hours to be somewhat effective with her. After hours of studying (thank you ML7) and playing her (doing duos with genjis, playing in goats, 6-stacks, etc) I know now exactly what to do now as someone in the higher ranks (masters+) and seeing the video I can already tell this player is quite new. The scope of technical required is just too much for this (or most bronze) player(s) at the moment.
Defensive ult was not needed in first point (i have not seen second point yet)they did t have any big ult that he could block so more overall healing to team in bronze is better , i see ur point with lucio but in order for the lucio to be effective he would need to be more agressive , wall riding all over the place b hoping etc which needs expirience with the hero so i think ana was better(i got diamond this season by playing lucio/ana/mercy and zarya primarly and some times hog but i also flexed in main tank or dps)
@@KokomiClan Yeah. I think this player needs to use antother hero until they train up to a better farmiliarity with OW. Ana is the hardest character in the game to play her defult abilities are like mini ults in their own rights. I think this person could do with Ana guides, some time to adapt to the game and really needs to learn to "quick scope" with Ana as it makes healing Genji's and Tracers a life save as you are given more leniance with the hitscan scope. And with Ana you have to kniw when to swap. Moira is better on tontrol especially in higher ranks as I see a lot of "Widow Goats" or "DOATS" (Winston/D.va) and the answer to that is play a support thay can escape the dive or use Pharmacy as a solid counter.
@@kostas-mb1uf I would argue Lucio is a must pick on control the speed boost is amazing and this is Lucio's best map bc of cc and Boop he can also be much harder to kill than Ana who was been killed by that Macree a lot. Lucio's ult coupd stop Macree and save a point easily but I see your point. Its just where I play Lucio has a 90% pickrate for good reason is is by far the most valid support on a control map. I've even had games with solo Lucio heal on control and I'm quoting Stylosa here "I would rather have a Lucio solo heal than two non Lucio on control" (Its from a way earlier video)
this was me when i started playing overwatch a few years ago. i’d never played an fps before ever so it was completely new to me. i started in bronze but now i’ve climbed up to platinum and stayed there dipping into diamond a few times. my boyfriend and our friends are masters and started in gold but hey whatever they’d all played fps games before.
@@ever6178 The single thing it takes to climb out of Bronze, is to realize the fact that not a single soul will ever punish your mistakes, unless you do it right in their face. Even if the enemy team had 100 players, they wouldn't pay attention to an enemy in their backline even when their life depends on it. You can still be equally shit as everyone else, you just gotta abuse them more than they abuse you.
Things I'd like to add: -You spent way too much time searching for a target to shoot at. Try to reduce this to a minimum -There is no need to reload with >9 bullets left in your clip mid fight. Only reload with that many bullets left, if there is currently a downtime anyway -Practice scoped shots and get yourself in touch with quick scoping -Use your ult either to save someone (especially tanks) or to combo it with another high value ult (Roadhog, Genji, Reaper, Soldier...) -You almost never want to face your back to the enemy. Moving backwards is a bit slower, but you are able to react / dodge to an enemy way easier. This also gives you more information about what is going on (f.e. you didn't exactly know where the McCree is located)
I agree with basically everything you said, but the facing your back to the enemy can sometimes be crucial with Ana if you look down while looking back when scaping a almost-lost duel with a sniper. That way you'll manipulate your head hitbox in a way they can't headshot you
@@vane909090 Sadly that's not the case. Ana does not headshot, it doesn't matter at all where you hit a target. If you want to heal them for more, use the nade.
OMG Reaper is SOOO OP in low ranks! Thank you for mentioning that cause i've had literal losing streaks in low gold because of a reaper on enemy team just flanking and killing supports, then rest of team. He deals way too much damage.
@@leobaytorun7157 It is actually. Bastion does 450 dps but bastion can't get headshots. Reaper does 280 with bodyshots, thus 560 with headshots. Not a big difference but yes, reapers dps if getting 100% headshots is higher than bastion's. Of course reaper has to be incredibly close to his targets to do this much damage, while bastion can be much further away, but still.
@Lelouch Lamperougeyou can't carry yourself out of silver being a mercy main trust me I played 12 hrs of mercy this season you will not get out you can try but trust me it's not possible getting out of silver being mercy
Lelouch Lamperouge I’ve noticed one thing almost all silver mercy’s have in common, they’re the most unaware people in the game and they move around like bots like this guy did in the video. And I’m not trying to sound offensive. I saw two of them yesterday playing arcade that were so bad at mercy and looked at their career profile and they were mercy mains. I do play supports a lot (even though my main is a DPS and mercy being my second most played) and I can run circles around these mercy’s. I see 200/300+ hour mercy mains running around like actual bots and it’s literally Jaw dropping to see someone so bad at a character with such a low skill floor, if people do get better over time I wonder how bad they were at the start 🤔
Let the idiots die. Let them die. LET THEM DIE. DO NOT CHASE DOWN THE IDIOT GENJI. DO NOT HELP YOUR REAPER WHEN HE IS 1-v-6. LET THEM DIE. If you follow them in you are part of the problem. If you follow in and 2-v-6 then your team is now in a 4-v-6 fight. Don't help dumb dps in fights that are obviously losing fights. DON'T LET STUPID PEOPLE CONVINCE YOU TO DO THIS STUPID THING. If they flank and make it back, catch them as soon as you can but Don't Compromise your Positioning when the risk is high. You need to trust them and they should know where the heal packs are. And quit healing your full health tank! You can maintain your beam and look around. It takes little more than 2 seconds to heal a DPS character bc they mostly have 200hp. So when your DPS is at 55% health they are WAYYYY lower than a 50% Tank. You don't have to heal them to full in the mid fight. Heal who is in need. Your tank is a priority but if you ignore DPS you have a lot of room to improve. And don't forget your pistol! Try to defend yourself if it comes down to it. You can do it!! :)
Love the comments saying its "hard" to get out of bronze. No, it isn't I had an old account in bronze and a different account in mid silver, if you have the skill of silver or gold you will easily climb out of bronze. If you are stuck in bronze I'm sorry you are a bronze no matter what.
agree, im at 2900 on console, and played at my friends house on his PC for the first time. He's in bronze. I won every single game for like 4 hours straight and ended up around 1650, having never played OW on a PC before. You don't need mechanical aim, you just have to not do stupid shit. That part in this video of the Ana standing out in the open while the McCree high-nooned her is an example of "stupid shit."
Gallade 105 the problem is the game is balanced at higher ranks, so for the majority of players in plat or lower the game is broken in a different way each update.
@@drewchafin5480 The game is clearly not balanced at higher ranks since most of owl had been goats and reapers is still usless in diamond and above, sooooo....
Noone has really denied it's stupid. It's just for different reasons. On the lower tiers it makes Reaper just incredibly OP because players lack the skill and coordination to take him out whereas on higher tiers Reaper hasn't really gotten any better because the change didn't actually adress the problems he was facing but rather changed an almost irrelevant aspect of his character.
If only you got in there when the game was objectively good and it was mechanically challenging instead of “I pick Brigitte I hard counter most things”
I remember my Masters game like it was yesterday, it was back in season 5 and won all my matches using triple support or playing Hanzo, where am I now? Struggling between masters and GM on PC now, because it’s always win lose win lose win win lose win lose lose. It’s been a while since I’ve been below 3900 but I can’t get into 4000!!!
Chayton Snider And also going into some of the custom aiming games once you get better. HS is pretty easy in them but projectile is hard. I’ll be honest timing the Ana sleep dart is one of the hardest things I’ve tried to time
Platinum and below is just absolutely frustrating. Especially with egotistical DPS who brag about their gold medals. Great job. Getting kills. That's literally what you're supposed to do but in a team effort. Being a tank or support main is the worst.
Holy shit I remember my first placements in season 4 I got placed same in 1444sr then I tought "well maybe 1 game and im silver so... i cant complain" wRonG. I remember dropping from that to 834sr and maybe I would've dropped more if it wasnt cause season ended. Next season I actually learned to play the game and managed to go from 880sr to 2734sr to get hardstuck there 10 seasons and finally able to make it to diamond and stay there this season (14) current peak at 3231.
Neo _ Good for u mate. I got 1642 for my first placement matches then am afraid to climb. Now I’m learning more about the game before I’ll ever play comp again
@@rieee1204 There's no better place to learn comp than comp itself though. Sure, QP and arcades help to develop some basic skill (mechanical and such), but once you're in touch with your characters be sure to try and play competitive.
I'm level 511 right now, and around 490-ish, I started playing Comp for the first time recently. (Training and Arcade for the majority, some QP). I'd always regretted not trying to earn the sprays, but the Season 14 one was too cute not to. So I did. On the very last day of it. Aaaaaand sometimes I got slaughtered. I think I got 4 or 5/10 wins in placements. Zen 2nd healer most of the time. I might have snuck a Dva or Rein in there somewhere, maybe. I ended up with 2400 something. And the cute winter S14 spray. I still think I'm crap, but I was pleasantly surprised to hit gold my first try. I now have my benchmark. See you out there on the field of battle my friends!
@@Baxocj I would rather see the team comp as 222 than play as a 321, and I would rather play as 411 than a 420. I do appreciate your input, thanks, I'll do this if I can.
it wasn't, the title was just an exageration for quick clicks, the guy played okay for bronze, not toxic, not entitled, none of that, and sty didn't bash him in the video, i hate those titles man lol
Nice to see an OverAnalyzed where you aren't shouting at a newbie for things that a GM should be doing. Felt the advice was a lot more actionable and positive than on some of the other low-ELO videos in the past.
Scope more, go in to the game browser and search for ana paintball. Just play only this for like 3 days and your quickscopes, aim and sleepdarts should be better. Also go in to the practice range and learn the projecticle speed of your hipfire. shooting at the moving bots. And please scope more.
I got the game 2 months ago. Placed in low gold. Fell down to mid silver. Now after ~100 hours of gameplay I'm at 2703 and climbing as Ana main. Feels good man.
@@kentcross2757 I think you underestimate what it takes to be a developer, and blizzard said they're working on this kind of thing atm. Also, if you see plat Anas like this, something is seriously wrong. Nobody should be in plat with this level of terrible positioning, aim, and awareness
@@maddizzle1744 it's fair to assume that I've underestimated the dev team, but not discredit my experience in game. When you have the whole team crying for an Anna and the Rien main is being pushed into that role, you get something similar to this. I think we need split SR, but I'm not holding a pitchfork at the dev team demanding it.
So, I've spent 2 years trapped in 750 bronze. Almost never deviating from 750. I'd slip up to 800, fall down to 700, and pretty much accepted I am where I belong. Then I created a second account, placed gold last week, and haven't been falling. So... RNG? No rank reset each season?
What heroes are you playing? I can tell you're not going for impact plays, you're simply existing and doing your job well enough. To get out of bronze, you need to carry games. If you're playing Ana, you need to make plays that will keep your team alive, hit big antis, get some kills when you have the opportunity. I climbed from silver to diamond in 4 seasons playing support because I knew that I needed to make plays to win
@@maddizzle1744 I've been playing Lucio since the Mercy nerfs. Thing is, I ~am~ out of bronze, just in another account. With 2 accounts I'm in both bronze ~and~ gold. Yet I play no differently in either. But, in bronze, I find myself dealing with Orisa "mains" who fortress themselves in a little corner just outside the objective and DPS instapicks who are trying so hard to carry that they can't stay alive long enough to get a kill. I can't imagine making an "impact play" in a team game, as a 1v6 healer, surrounded by lemmings on crack.
Tips, 1. Use scope 2. Use nano, if u dk who to combo with, nano tank 3. Sleep bastion 😂 4. join voice, tell team which enemy is anti 5.go watch KarQ, Gale or ml7 for more ana tips, 🤔😂 Thx me later, lol
I’ve ended in bronze each season since 8, luckily I climbed to silver but soon dropped again. I think the worst thing about being bronze is it’s embarrassing. Even my silver friend makes fun of me saying I have 3 digit sr (when I don’t). And he has worse game sense than me just a better pc and internet connection.
Lmao he said he was bad at positioning game sense ability usage and stuff he ended up being pretty good at those things. But he said his aim and mechanics were good but they ended up sucking
Speaking from experience of being past bronze stuck I gotta say people give people down there a lot less credit than what’s due. If your in bronze and use group finder, 6 stack queue with like a level 3 endorsement lock, you meet a surprising amount of good players (who are a lot nicer than any other rank) on mic and you can actually pull of some amazing team plays. However often solo queue is just hell
matt swift Well if it’s a placement, you can still get other people in the game that have been ranked and you’d need to blur all of those out and you wouldn’t know your exact rank unless it was the last placement. The chances of both of those happening is kinda low.
Hey dude I've been in bronze for a while and play only supports so I'll give u a basic rundown, always check flanks-I've even seen rien flanking, then never trust your teammates to peel for you do play accordingly, stay in voice chat as someone might be making important callouts, never trade your life for anyone as healers are the most important (the are some exception though like if the other guys is the win condition), then never walk in straight line and always fire back at the opponent if you are dived cuz remember you can fire your weapon and run Edit: also don't hoarde ur ult for the perfect moment to use, use it in the next teamfight or if your teammate (s) are in danger and you can farm it right back cuz u will b doing crap-ton of healing anyway cuz it's bronze and people don't have good positioning and take tons of damage all the time. Unlike in guild wars 2, here ult farming is super quick so don't worry my dude Also better you AIM a bit after that increase your apm Prioritise heals over damage, for ana your scope is hitscan (use for farther targets) and leaves a trail and hipfire is projectile(use for nearer targets) Press Tab as it also shows with a tick mark which team mate has ult so you can combo You'll be better as you learn each character's abilities and ult and what each does so please don't get frustrated overwatch is and amazing game, also you have picked to main ana - which in my view is the toughest support character to master so don't worry a and play a lot and you'll learn quicker that way. Don't worry about high level stuff like quick scan or flicking sleeps and dueling tracer sombra etc right now just try and master the basics perfectly Your positioning is better but you need to up your gamesense/ awareness of ur surrounding (will become better by concentrating more and playing more matches) you understand some stuff but execution could be better. Be a lil balsy, you're playing very passive I feel, take part in team fights
It's about people's aiming style. Many people have the muscle memory to flick more often and consistently hit targets instead of other people who track The target the whole time. This happens to many people who played for example sniper rifles in fps games in general. It is possible to play like this, but not recommended in overwatch in my opinion
You can say that about *anything;* There are exceptions to every rule. Of course there are going to be a handful of notable examples of players that can play in such an odd way and still manage. But as a coach, it's a really bad idea to recommend trying to follow this. There's a reason why they're called exceptions, and it's because only very few people can do it successfully. As a coach you want to be giving advice that will help the general population. If a player feels as if he or she doesn't like a coaches advice... They wouldn't be asking for it.
As a masters Ana main I really enjoyed this overanalyze. The advice I would give to this player is to indeed use the scope a bit more. If my team is point blank range I’d heal from the hip. But if they are medium to long range I immediately use the scope. You don’t need to feel bad for using the scope. It’s there to help you keep your team alive. Anyway I hate how blizzard still allows players to play comp at level 25. This screws up the new players.
I started playing overwatch 4 months ago and was placed in bronze. I was obviously bad at the game and new to shooters, but after a lot of practice and studying (lol) I'm now in plat, almost diamond! Anyway, never give up if you want to get better, and you will be able to climb out of bronze :3
20:35 First time he used scope all game. Bronze is usually painfully funny to watch. This game was just painful. All the facepalms made my forhead red and sore.
Speaking of reaper, in my low plat games if I have an lfg group then reaper is not a problem because as Reinhardt if I scream kill reaper, reaper dies!
With players that know what their doing Reaper isn't a issue, the problem comes when you get e.g. flanking Mccree's on your team or healers that only heal their friend; That's when Reaper is strong when players ignore him.
One of the cardinal sins in OW is to die in the last fight holding your ult. Sty was yelling it. Everyone above bronze was yelling it. "Nano the Dva! Nano ANYTHING". Bronze players panic when an enemy gets nano anyway, they become the focus, and then your team gets kills while the whole enemy team is panicking and trying to kill the nanoed Dva. And maybe practice in QP by forcing yourself to use the scope the whole game to get more comfortable with it. You should have been scoped at least half of that final round.
I had several friends stuck in silver. I looked at their hero pool and... ANA/HANZO/GENJI/MCCREE... So I told them something nice "play a hero that match your skill set damn it!". So I forced them onto Moira/mercy/hog/junk and bast/tb (on defense) and weirdly enough they went straight out of low silver to mid gold... WAY too many players want to play the shiny picks to show their "skill" when they have almost none. People never consider heroes skill floor and don't understand why they're stuck in bronze-gold. Sure you may love high skill floor heroes and have more fun with them, but you'll get about 0 value more often than not. And if you wish to climb they're not the heroes you wanna play until quite high SR tbh. If you wish to improve then... it may be a good idea to stick to those heroes but you'll most likely learn bad mechanics and won't be able to progress unless someone at higher SR "coaches" you.
I do agree you shouldn't be playing e.g. Genji when you can't play him, hell I can't play him and I'm around 3100. Its a common thing in lower ranks (as someone who first placed in the 1800s) players play what's cool or what "high skill" which is a mistake and it not only affects them, but their teammates as well.
xadine you should be apart of OW coaching series on who to play in lowers ranks and when you climb out of those ranks that’s when you play normally the shines characters lol
@@aaronwelsh7321 Well if you're in gold or lower it prove that you're not good at the game and therefore should you try to climb, you better not focus on the high skill floor heroes. In those ranks heroes like bast/tb can get stupidly high value for so little risk (with a rein/orisa) where gengu will get a team kill on a nano blade once and be dead weight for the rest of the game. Ofc the issue will be that once you reach a threshold those picks will be "useless" and you won't be able to play something else... well that's what qp is for. To train the heroes you suck at without throwing everyone else SR down the toilet.
@@xadine7125 exactly.... Which is why they should increase the level required to join comp... Look at this guys team... Him as ana... A new mccree player... A new dva player... And a new mccree player.... With two actually starred players as hog and mercy easily getting more value. On the other team a bunch of star players as bastion and lucio getting WAAAAAY more bang for the buck without all the tech they most likely dont even have.
I get so mad being in bronze, last time I placed, in 9/10 of my matches someone left our team. I hate playing comp because people ALWAYS leave! Is anyone else having this issue alot?
On my first season (on xbox) i git placed 2.2k and dropped to 1.5k. After fixing me wifi and learning to play ana properly i climbed and now am a diamond support player. Obviously over time my aim got better but my game sense is what got me to diamond. I hope other people dont feel dicouraged when they drop sr cause it will get better if you practise. xoxo
saw a post in the forums, guy said he should be gold, was silver but now was placed in bronze.in the same post he says HE WAS KICKED FROM NOT BEING ABLE TO HIT ANYTHING. ppl bellow diamond(and even in diamond) dont even realize how trash we are
Key take-aways 1. Movement. Juke more, zig zag, jump spam, crouch spam, hide from high-noon. Very low skill requirements. 2. Hero understanding. The 0.5 seconds it takes to deliver hip-fire healing is critical, not to mention the accuracy boost. Virtually never uses ADS. 3. Awareness. Healers need to know where EVERYONE is. You also need to know who is on the enemy team, and have a strategy for who to look out for, who to focus fire, who to sleep dart, who to anti nade. Failing to use tab to scout enemy team shows this lack of awareness and strategic thinking.
im telling you guys, if you're playing ana, you should always remember that she is a burst healer. Burst healing can help a lot mid fight, so that means you should focus your attention on main (the main teamfight), and let the 2nd healer orrrr health packs do the rest. always frontline as main priority, always.
Not necessarily, on hip fire you uave some leeway. Almost as if the projectile is slightly bigger than the model. But the hitscan is basically that entire triangle for teammates only. Kind of like how Moira is actually a hit scan hero but with a tube-like hired an and a constant animation.
Needs to look around more - Keeps being beside a tank in combat and ignores them to poke around a corner to heal someone on a flank. Also - Aiming tip: You appear to fire when you think you need to shoot, rather than when the target is lined up. You fire shots into walls without being under pressure... You will be way more effective taking a little longer to line up confident shots, than shooting as fast as you can but rarely hitting.
I have a situation which is kind of weird... I was 3400 on console and 2 weeks ago I switched to pc for the first time and I’m 3550?! I play dps and tank. Mostly widow, soldier, Mcree, tracer, and main tank. I thought it was interesting because people always say how pc Diamond is like gm on console and what not...
Yeah once you get used to using Mouse and Keyboard (or controller if your pc -> console) its the same game, its not like you lose all knowledge and skill in the game because your on a different platform.
he was bronze for sure, but i dont think he was so terrible as to not play ranked, he's new to the game and the first thing i would tell him is, scope in more
The one thing I’ve found is if you’re in silver or bronze and you deserve to be in gold you will always climb towards gold whereas above that it’s so hard to climb through the ranks
i got placed gold on console and dropped down to bronze. after grinding my ass off on weekends i got better and climbed up to plat. You need to focus on improving your own gameplay and stop complaining about your teammates
I was yelling at myself "USE THE DAMN SCOPE GAWDAMMIT!!!!"
Same lol!
ESPECIALLY ON THE GENJI
you can get to diamond with ana by literally following tanks around and holding left click into their back/s the whole game, never scoping in and probably without your cooldowns. scoping in is the least of a bronze player's concerns, imo

Technical feedback on the gameplay if anyone might find this useful:
- Use the scope to the heal!
There are variants and other combos (like to deal with a Tracer)
- Learn baiting tactics with Ana: Melee to let enemy think you are using the sleep dart so that they burn cooldowns.
- Put nano boost sensitivity setting to 100% (and learn from the mistakes when you nano the wrong target)
- Put relative aim sensitivity when scoping to between 38%-50%.

At lvl 40 most people also have no idea what they're doing tbh.

I agree. Level 75 should be a minimum requirement and the player has to absolve an in depth tutorial about their character's job like you guys said.
comp should be level 420
Whoa I just walked in on a bunch of essays😂
this was me when i started playing overwatch a few years ago. i’d never played an fps before ever so it was completely new to me. i started in bronze but now i’ve climbed up to platinum and stayed there dipping into diamond a few times. my boyfriend and our friends are masters and started in gold but hey whatever they’d all played fps games before.
That McCree knows exactly what he needs to do to climb lmao
Smurf lowplat mcree xD
@@ever6178 The single thing it takes to climb out of Bronze, is to realize the fact that not a single soul will ever punish your mistakes, unless you do it right in their face. Even if the enemy team had 100 players, they wouldn't pay attention to an enemy in their backline even when their life depends on it. You can still be equally shit as everyone else, you just gotta abuse them more than they abuse you.

I mean, low masters at least. Surely
Ever611 i’ve seen gold players better
Things I'd like to add:
-You spent way too much time searching for a target to shoot at. Try to reduce this to a minimum
-There is no need to reload with >9 bullets left in your clip mid fight. Only reload with that many bullets left, if there is currently a downtime anyway
-Practice scoped shots and get yourself in touch with quick scoping
-Use your ult either to save someone (especially tanks) or to combo it with another high value ult (Roadhog, Genji, Reaper, Soldier...)
-You almost never want to face your back to the enemy.
That way you'll manipulate your head hitbox in a way they can't headshot you
ew don't call a magazine a "clip"
oni it’s literally a clip. Tell me how that is in any way a mag.
Just scoping in general would help.
Does the lad know that scoping is HS and hip fire is projectile?
True. But his biggest problem is, that he is not really healing anything. Mercy is doing all the work in that match
quick scopes go a long way too.
Do they use ads at all in this match?
If you headshot with Ana you heal double.
@@vane909090 Sadly that's not the case. Ana does not headshot, it doesn't matter at all where you hit a target. If you want to heal them for more, use the nade.

Faysal Buyuksahin really you are tilting from a person that is New to overwatch and FPS that’s just sad
That's frustrating, we're not mocking him.
OMG Reaper is SOOO OP in low ranks! Thank you for mentioning that cause i've had literal losing streaks in low gold because of a reaper on enemy team just flanking and killing supports, then rest of team. He deals way too much damage.
firebird x ik, especially in bronze-gold
If he's getting headshots, his DPS is actually higher than bastion's.
Cormac B no
@@leobaytorun7157
It is actually.
Cormac B bastion has 500 dps, reaper shoots twice in 1.2 sec. His max hs damage is 250
I should be bronze but I’m gold XD
Same.
I should be Diamond but I am unranked.
Props to you Sty, for making this very useful and calm video. They are way better without shaming players for their bad performance
That part in this video of the Ana standing out in the open while the McCree high-nooned her is an example of "stupid shit."
he walks around like a Bot and has Tunnelvision and yet he should be Gold?
His movement wasn't too bad, he was kind of moving with his team but they were never together. But I do agree, defs not gold level
trust me, gold is literally the same
He didn't move like a bot
That tunnel vision thing though
Oh yeah yeah strike commander his movement wasn’t even silver level lol

Thank you for the reaper rant, finally a higher tier player admits its stupid
In low ranks hes stupid yes, but literally everyone already agreed to tgat lol
@@minnesotastoners6957 No shit, but they rarely admit that its poor balancing in lower elos

WTF? He can’t even tell when someone is behind him LMFAO
Stylosa please make a Overwatch coaching episode where you don’t tell the rank but you you still coach them.

@@simp1303 not if it's a placement match.
matt swift Well if it’s a placement, you can still get other people in the game that have been ranked and you’d need to blur all of those out and you wouldn’t know your exact rank unless it was the last placement. The chances of both of those happening is kinda low.
Hey dude I've been in bronze for a while and play only supports so I'll give u a basic rundown, always check flanks-I've even seen rien flanking, then never trust your teammates to peel for you do play accordingly, stay in voice chat as someone might be making important callouts, never trade your life for anyone as healers are the most important (the are some exception though like if the other guys is the win condition), then never walk in straight line and always fire back at the opponent if you are dived cuz remember you can fire your weapon and run
Edit: also don't hoarde ur ult for the perfect moment to use, use it in the next teamfight or if your teammate (s) are in danger and you can farm it right back cuz u will b doing crap-ton of healing anyway cuz it's bronze and people don't have good positioning and take tons of damage all the time. Unlike in guild wars 2, here ult farming is super quick so don't worry my dude
Also better you AIM a bit after that increase your apm
Prioritise heals over damage, for ana your scope is hitscan (use for farther targets) and leaves a trail and hipfire is projectile(use for nearer targets)
Press Tab as it also shows with a tick mark which team mate has ult so you can combo
You'll be better as you learn each character's abilities and ult and what each does so please don't get frustrated overwatch is and amazing game, also you have picked to main ana - which in my view is the toughest support character to master so don't worry a and play a lot and you'll learn quicker that way. Don't worry about high level stuff like quick scan or flicking sleeps and dueling tracer sombra etc right now just try and master the basics perfectly
Your positioning is better but you need to up your gamesense/ awareness of ur surrounding (will become better by concentrating more and playing more matches) you understand some stuff but execution could be better.
Be a lil balsy, you're playing very passive I feel, take part in team fights
That Smooth movement aiming thing isn't always aplicable, Have you ever watched ML7? a top500 player that literally shakes his mouse after every shot.
It's about people's aiming style. Many people have the muscle memory to flick more often and consistently hit targets instead of other people who track The target the whole time. This happens to many people who played for example sniper rifles in fps games in general. It is possible to play like this, but not recommended in overwatch in my opinion
@@TappedWalnut he does that on purpose to show off I'm pretty sure.
Comparing top 500 to bronze. Pretty sure not all the advice is applicable.
@@TappedWalnut he does it on purpose for entertainment, if you see him play a hero like tracer he has really good mouse control and aim

I might actually do my placement matches now...
if this guy is "gold" im top 500 ok?
I’d say for newer players that want to play healers, don’t play Ana or Zen in Comp and play a healer like Lucio and work on your aim first
I don’t think his aim was horrible but it wasnt great tell him to do the mcree with ana bots headshots only
He had his ups and downs, sometimes It was ok, others they missed everything
Nah he just needs to play the game. With Ana bots the only thing you get is aim unlike just playing also gives you awareness and game sense
On my first season (on xbox) i git placed 2.2k and dropped to 1.5k. After fixing me wifi and learning to play ana properly i climbed and now am a diamond support player. Obviously over time my aim got better but my game sense is what got me to diamond. I hope other people dont feel dicouraged when they drop sr cause it will get better if you practise. xoxo
Love me some overanalyzed
saw a post in the forums, guy said he should be gold, was silver but now was placed in bronze.in the same post he says HE WAS KICKED FROM NOT BEING ABLE TO HIT ANYTHING. ppl bellow diamond(and even in diamond) dont even realize how trash we are
This video just inspired me to buy a ~500 sr bronze account!
Key take-aways
Failing to use tab to scout enemy team shows this lack of awareness and strategic thinking.
this game is trash im bronze but i should be in top500 and in the overwatch league but everyone on my team is terrible i am godly
/s
i believe you :)
im telling you guys, if you're playing ana, you should always remember that she is a burst healer. Burst healing can help a lot mid fight, so that means you should focus your attention on main (the main teamfight), and let the 2nd healer orrrr health packs do the rest. always frontline as main priority, always.
the hitbox is the same for hip fire and scoped
True but the dart behaves differently scoped to ADS
Stop Stop yeah. I play overwatch on console too but I played during a free weekend on pc and it was a hell of a lot easier to play
Honestly, the only difference between console and pc is pc players tend to be better at aiming. Otherwise, The game sence is the same
Ppl say that Bc condole aim just looks slower. It’s not the players fault they’re on a controller tho.
Yeah once you get used to using Mouse and Keyboard (or controller if your pc -> console) its the same game, its not like you lose all knowledge and skill in the game because your on a different platform.
ML7 should see this 🤣🤣🤣...He might break his screen 🤣
Apex legends RUclipsr uploads a coaching overwatch video OMEGALUL
??? u do know he was(still a bit is) an overwatch youtube way before he was apex youtube right? i mena he was ow youtube for consistent 3-2 years
He’s been uploading overwatch for the past 3 years straight. He only started apex a few weeks ago.
blood elf its a joke
Ryth K its a joke
@@bootneck9830 sad that u had to tell them...
I was going to send in a video for being silver. Then an hour later, I climbed out. I went from 1724 to 2246
The positioning of this guy is as terrible as his aim. He needs more practice. Gold? He shouldn't even play ranked in the first place.
I like his sleep darts, though. It's like he has a 2 second lag on it lol.
he was bronze for sure, but i dont think he was so terrible as to not play ranked, he's new to the game and the first thing i would tell him is, scope in more
The one thing I’ve found is if you’re in silver or bronze and you deserve to be in gold you will always climb towards gold whereas above that it’s so hard to climb through the ranks
You can tell this series is a content filler
tbh who cares if it is entertaining
So What? Its one of his most entertaining content. Besides not like it negatively affects you.
With the nano being held for so long, some people think they need to hold it until a perfect moment
i got placed gold on console and dropped down to bronze. after grinding my ass off on weekends i got better and climbed up to plat. You need to focus on improving your own gameplay and stop complaining about your teammates
