I just have to say - Thank You!! Thank you for making these amazing videos, for people like me who like to do their own nails & create unique new ways of decorating them! I've seen some "water marbling" videos, but never payed any attention to them, until this month (February), because I wanted a new creative design to decorate my nails with, especially for Valentines Day. I watched several videos if you're to understand the concept better. I'm still a beginner & mess up quite a lot, but with practice I'm confident I'll be able to start making my own fun designs later! Thanks again for you're beautiful creativity! Take care & I look forward to watching more of your videos ☺
3 people don't have a Valentines this year. LOL. You're a water marbling genius! I've been watching your videos and practicing marbling for a year now. I finally made a channel of my own to showcase my designs as well! Thanks for the inspiration; you're nail art is awesome!
I love your tutorials!! you always make it look so easy. im still trying to get the hang of water marbling your videos actually inspired me to start trying
Your tutorials are all great and explained very well. Keep up the GREAT work!!! You've taught me a lot. My co-workers look forward to seeing what I'll be learning next.
It has been years since I have painted my nails but after seeing you video on pinterest I was really curious how water marbling was done. You do amazing work and make it seem so simple. Thank you so much for sharing your talents.
I saw this water nail art for the 1st time a few months ago. I think its incredibly creative and extremely beautiful! I was going to ask my nail tech about it today but i forgot. Think i might try it myself!
@rainbowsherbet99 it’s not required, but I always recommend a base coat to help it stick to you nail & also a base color because it helps the marble colors be more opaque & vibrant =)
You always make these look so easy. Would love to know how many nailpolishes you have & see how you store them. Love the water marbling - keep 'em coming!

Thank you so much! I have tried water marbling before but I have neon paints which I noticed were much more difficult to work with. I kept trying to figure out what I was doing wrong then I watched your neon tutorial.
@RoHoNat I do my base color first - for my left hand I usually tape them all at once but my right only one at a time because it's easier to hold the brushes without them all taped together =)
nice one. i think its a nice colour combo but it would also be loads of fun to use a bright red for the very last drop because it would really make the hearts stand out. :)
@macmoe10 Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind not every polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)
I usually wait until they're mostly dry to take off the tape, but you can do it while they're wet if you're careful - then I apply top coat after I do my clean up =)
ulta polish is from ulta, zoya is in some stores but I usually buy online. for this design yes, only one finger if you want an actual heart but other vids I show dipping more than one nail
@Beauty1080 there are some pics on my blog =) I don’t know when I’ll get to a vid but in the right sidebar there's a drop down for my labels - look under the tag "my stash" & I think it's the 2nd post that will show up

You know, I really like this design, but I could not find the Ulta nail color. But I had to have this design on my nails for Feb. So I tried soooo many different brand and color combinations and finally.......combining China Glaze, Wet-n-Wild, and Kleancolor gave me a nice purple/lgt purple color! Thanks for taking the time to record the videos and keep them coming!
I always use the tape cocoon to minimize the cleanup - makes the end result so much faster to get to and so much less frustrating when you don't have to spend HOURS with q-tip cleaning up the cuticles!!!
@LIVyourlife213 is the water filtered? most tap water is too hard & the polish will not spread as well. & I've found it spreads better in a small cup than a larger container also =) every polish dries at a different speed & those that dry fast just aren't very good for marbling - if you can't work any quicker then you have to find colors that dry slower. Also make sure there's not a fan or anything creating a draft on the water as that can make the polish dry faster
Create the tape "cocoon" around the tip and base of the nail to seal off the areas you don't want the polish to touch -- this will greatly minimize the cleanup and make this process a whole lot more fun to do. Take some time with it, and you will be AMAZED at the results you get!
It's been on my to-do list for a while now to do a comparison between taping & lotion or vaseline/chapstick etc, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Aside from the fact that it seems like it would be very messy, several viewers have told me that they can leave a residue in the water that makes it harder to do the next designs, which is why I've stuck with tape so far =)

@nadiamendo sometimes that happens if it starts to dry, although some colors will do it even when wet - it just takes trial & error =)

Love this one 💜💜💜💜
in love with this.
yes, I use room temperature filtered water because polish does not spread as well in cold.
