    Bro thanks for the video I was hoping to see where you ended up. I was a water truck o/o in the fields but Covid shut us down now hauling for a dedicated customer I love the openness of the open road and freedom. Take care your videos were great!

      Thank you Andrew. I’ll still be posting videos of what I’m doing now and will definitely be back to trucking soon.

    Midland Hotshot coming at you.
    I kept up with your videos. I'm from Midland TX. Up until May I was OTR Hotshotin' for two years, with my own authority, 3 weeks out at a time. Truthfully you get used to sleeping in the back seat (only 5'9"). A little update, my two brother in laws past away in Feb-Mar less than 30 days apart so I left OTR and came back to be here for my wife and back to oilfield hotshot, leased on to a company FOR NOW. I revoked my authority but hopefully if I make enough good contacts I will reinstate it, stay in oilfield hotshot. Also got my broker authority while I was down for a month. Just because one door closes only means there is a better door you will open. I was a shooter on wireline a while back ago. Good luck keep updating.
    Peace ✌

      Man so sorry to hear about your Bro-in-laws. That tough. I’m going to keep my authority active so I don’t loose the time on it when I go back in the truck.

      I’m not sure if we are hiring here but if you look up cased hole Wireline jobs I’m sure you will not have an issue finding a job. Especially in west texas and with a cdl.

    Man after watching this one I'm really hoping you made the right decision🙏 I'm getting into trucking for the same reason you did... money doesn't equal happiness. But I have to ask because in your other video you said the numbers were 25-30% over your company's gross but that doesn't seem realistic to me. I'm assuming you meant over net??

    • @DosGringosRanch
      @DosGringosRanch  2 года назад

      It’s realistic that’s why I decided to step back from trucking temporarily.

    • @DosGringosRanch
      @DosGringosRanch  2 года назад

      And I was being a little conservative lol. With the boom going on Wireline companies are offering crazy amounts to get qualified people through the door.
