Thao Van hi, thanks for watching! Our apartment price was included in our study abroad program, so unfortunately, I’m not sure how much rent ended up being. Sorry!
i’ve always wanted to go to italy! next summer, we’ll be going to vernazza, the town where luca was based off of. so excited bc i love the architecture and just the overall vibe of italy
Hey Emily! I think I am doing this program next year! I've seen so many different pics of apartments there... how did you get this one? It looks really nice! Thank you!
Cheyenne Isaac My apartment was found for me through my study abroad program. If yours doesn’t include housing, I’d recommend getting in touch with some sort of student housing agency. I think it’d be hard to find an apartment in Florence without some professional help because the demand is very high, but I’m not an expert at all.
hi emily ! i am currently in italy and about to start classes at FUA. I was wondering what you did for your cell phone? did you get a sim card from a TIM store or something like that? and also ! what are some places you recommend to go to here in florence? i am currently self-isolating so i would love some recommendations of places to go to after i'm out :D
Hi, my cellphone plan from home covered international data, so I didn’t have to do anything. But my friends went to the Vodafone store and got new SIM cards. I actually have a video of my Florence recommendations if you want to check it out: ruclips.net/video/2NGQXmDq0eM/видео.html
I’m also studying abroad through SAI ☺️ I’m an interior architecture and design student from Colorado State University, what is your major/school? Hoping my apartment is something like this, but I’m a little nervous about meeting the other roommates. I’m going with my best friend and living with her, but other than that we don’t know the other people / how many others there will be. Any tips for living with other people in a small space?
im studying abroad next semester in florence, just wondering if you have any tips? any hidden gems? favorite restaurants? also i have an extreme dairy allergy, will food be an issue? (sorry for the overload, i just want to make the most of my experience) p.s what kind of camera do you use?

Hey Emily, I’m planing to do a academic year in Florence for interior design. I found the FIDI and the FDA which are having the same program with nearly the same costs.. can’t figure out which one would be a better choice because there are no discussion or reviews to find online. Do you know someone who is going to one of the schools? Did u hear anything about one of them? Best wishes Karo:)
Thanks for sharing your experience. My daughter is planning abroad program in Milan this summer. Initially I thought we will go a month trip before she starts school. But I realize that the visa process, and she has to summit the all booking records for the hotels we travel which I am sure yet. .... is it good idea to travel before she stars school or bad? I am a little bit stress out to plan because the flight tickets are getting expensive. I heard the visa interview is going to be just before three month she leaves to Milan. When did u purchase the flight ticket? Thanks a lot. :)
Hi, I purchased my tickets about a month before I left. I didn’t need a visa, so I’m not really sure about that process, but I think traveling before school is a fine idea!
Hi Hossein, this is the housing that was provided by my study abroad program, SAI. Unfortunately, I’m not sure what the accommodations for the University of Florence are like.
I paid extra for a single room. To me it was worth it because I enjoy some time alone. Plus, you never know if you're going to like your roommate or not. Luckily everyone in my apartment got along.
@@emily_meadows Thank you for replying!! I'm studying abroad next semester and wondering if it's worth it to pay extra or just suck it up with a roommate -- I definitely agree with you, you never know if you're going to like your roommate and you're pretty much stuck for a semester if you don't.
Hi, I went to Florence University of the Arts, so I’m not sure about the University of Florence. But, Florence had people from everywhere, so I think anywhere you choose will be good.

Hey Emily! I think I am doing this program next year! I've seen so many different pics of apartments there... how did you get this one? It looks really nice! Thank you!
Hi Caitlin! This is the apartment I was assigned through SAI. I think most of their student apartments are pretty nice!
Was it difficult to find a semi more modern feeling apartment? Im studying abroad here next year and I'm hoping finding housing won't be too difficult

Hi Emily, I am going to study abroad at the University of Florence. is this the accommodation which the university brings for students?
Hi Hossein, this is the housing that was provided by my study abroad program, SAI. Unfortunately, I’m not sure what the accommodations for the University of Florence are like.
Did you opt for/pay extra for a single room or were you given one randomly?
I paid extra for a single room. To me it was worth it because I enjoy some time alone. Plus, you never know if you're going to like your roommate or not. Luckily everyone in my apartment got along.

Hi, may I ask you how did you find this flat? Is it any website for student-share-apartments?
Hi, this was the housing provided through my study abroad program.

The cost of the apartment was included in our study abroad fees, so I’m not sure the exact cost of it. Sorry!

Great video! Please check our video tours too! I am from Florence originally, your video reminded me of my hometown!
What's the monthly rent? For a total of 6 girls?
