It is actually more flexible and smarter than Revit. The concept behind the invisble cut box is similar to the Cut Opening profile in Revit Doors/Windows family templates.

Because if it does not - holes from profile builder, or from curic studio looks better, espesially with curic stretch
Yes, the holes change the geometry in Double-Cut v2. They will remain when you print the model.
