    Jaz-O verse on "N*gga What, N*gga Who" still amazes me. The pocket he was in with that verse and how lyrical he was while rapping at that pace. The degree of difficulty was something else, especially considering how effortlessly he paced himself on that verse.

    What he says is a fact but people don't look at it that way because of all of the subsequent success of other artist. The label was founded to further Hov's career. Their mission never changed from the first album, no matter how much they grew. It worked until it didn't. Would it be safe to say it fell apart over trying to figure out how to move on from there original objective?

Big L was gonna have a good run on roc a fella. Dipset exploded on roc a fella and jay z was still have successful albums coming out during that whole movement as well.

    Nobody really says this but Timbaland lowkey accidentally invented DRILL Beats with "Jigga what Jigga who", you hear how futuristic that beat sounded at the time but if you play it today, it sounds like a Drill Joint without that full drop bass, but Tim was on to something with that 👀
