This week's episode we take a completely different style of image with our wide-angle lens. We get a little closer, sometimes too close to our scenes looking to capture some more abstract and intimate landscapes along the coastline of Nova Scotia. I loved this little spot for all the unique rock formations and colors within those rocks. I could have spent days here just on a few section of rocks looking for different compositions.
You might find a good lesson or two in here about photographing your own abstract rock formations, or you might just enjoy the journey. Thanks for watching!

Oh man! The last shot is killer!!!
Really love how much time you're dedicating between both composition and the technical side of taking these shots. Keep up the great work!
Thanks buddy
I'm in to astro photography so love the milky way shot.
Good morning Alex 🌈 the last shot is spectacular! I especially like the artsy-fartsy abstract ones too. I hope you are enjoying Nova Scotia and that the locals are being as friendly as their reputation. I traveled throughout the Maritimes a lot of years ago and remember the trip with fondest mainly because of the people.
Hah. Don't tell people those are artsy-fartsy :)

Not my favorite subject, but you made it interesting and held me to the end! And, some of the images you re-shot from the big rock were very good! Thanks for taking me along!
It's not for everyone but sometimes you can't pass it up when it is right below your feet
Awesome milky way shot 👌
Thank you :)
We were there in July. I want to go back next month for fall colors. Great images with complementary colors . keep up the good work. We wanted to get good astro images but we had cloud layers during new moon. AWESOME Milky Way images. I am jealous
thanks so much Patrick and thanks for that donation you sent
I liked all the shots but when No 6 came up I gasped….6 n 7 were my favorites & of course, the MilkyWay
Thanks Rae
Hey, Alex! Always enjoy your videos. Now that you’re on the Canuck side of the border, check out New Brunswick’s Fundy National Park. Specifically, the Dickson Falls trail! Lots of other great photo ops there too. You won’t be disappointed! Cheers!
Thank you for the suggestions!
Oh no! Gaven is rubbing off on you. 🤣
not the terminology i'd prefer to use lol

Hey Alex. Great video as always. Are you taking the ferry across to Newfoundland? Would love to connect if you do!
Already here!

Hi Alex! What body or mobile cam to record in 4k do you suggest? I am looking to do more close-ups and mobile shots in my studio. Let me know if you want to add adventure riding to your mix. You know a guy that sells those kinds of bikes. Love seeing your adventures!
I think the new iphone would be great. But if you want more of a camera, send me a message with a better idea of what you want it for
