I use a 1 1/4 screw and then I match the drill bit to the size of the center of the screw to pre drill and Rin a counter sink bit that way the screw head sits flush.

what do u use to seal everything and the cracks to prevent moisture damage? do you think an 8ft would be too heavy/large to build a short stand for it to store things underneath?

A heat gun set on low would also work or a hair dryer in a pinch. You work with what you got improvise

Earl Redstrom yes full grown adults there cages are 8x4x4 so a very big cage.

Redboa23 I use silicone or caulking but the silicone works way better. And for a stand u can make a good sturdy stand to hold the weight of it.

Bob Patterson I can do good with some moisture but make sure u seal it good and I don't have it made it for a friend but she says it's still nice.

I say Melanie is the way to go my cages are still holding up good and easier to seal up then plywood.

No I don't let it dry I glue it and then get the screws in that way they act as the clamp to hold it together.

Will be fine on the floor my tagu cage is on the floor the castor's just make them easier to move if u need to.

No u do not need that many I mostly just have 2 on some of the cages

No I haven't had that problem but u don't want water sitting for long periods of time on the milmine
