I've come to Christ a couple of years ago and Orthodoxy is really appealing to me; something within me, perhaps The Holy Spirit, is really guiding me towards Orthodoxy. Orthodox Christianity is Christianity in its pure form. It is One but not ecumenistic, True without doubt, Holy in its doctrines, Catholic in its teaching, and Apostolic in its faith, the Church of the Body of Christ. It is Orthodox but not Jewish, Catholic but not Roman, Evangelical but not Protestant, it is not non-denominational, it is pre-denominational. It is not ancient, it is not modern, it is the eternal Kingdom of God.

PRO TIP: Not every Orthodox congregation is on the website map. I saw 4 in my city before attending my first Divine Liturgy, and the priest let me know there are actually 5. Although I was late to Liturgy yesterday so we went there instead, and I wonder if it wasn’t on there because they don’t want it to be public? The service was probably 70% in Romanian and it seemed very ethnic, we got lots of stares. Very different from our experience at the Greek parish we’d been attending. I say all that to say idk if they’re not on there on purpose, because it wasn’t a new church by any means and the other priest evidently knew about it too

On the lapel of his coat was his name: "Rodni" - Stevan begins the story and continues: He held the Holy Scripture in one hand, and with the finger of the other hand he showed me the well-known chapter from the Revelation of John, where it is written: The angel flew away, and it was given to him to untie the four angels who were bound on the great rock above the Euphrates ( Rev. 09,14). There's website for Orthodox Church in America which has a very user-friendly way of finding an orthodox parish in your area of USA or Canada. I tried it and was really surprised to see how many of its member churches there are in my province, British Columbia. I had no idea there are so many - - even one that is solely in English.

I am not a Christian but I want to ask what is the difference between Orthodox Christianity Catholics and Protestants I've lived in Eastern European countries and I've seen the difference between Christians. Orthodox people are more conservative

There's website for Orthodox Church in America which has a very user-friendly way of finding an orthodox parish in your area of USA or Canada. I tried it and was really surprised to see how many of its member churches there are in my province, British Columbia. I had no idea there are so many - - even one that is solely in English.
