The Artist Who Crafted Crash Bandicoot

In the mid-90s, animation character designer Charles Zembillas was engaged by video game developer Naughty Dog to work on their new game, Willy the Wombat.
The resulting character designs sketched by Zembillas would end up becoming one of the video game industry's biggest icons - Crash Bandicoot.
I spoke with Zembillas to learn about his work on Crash and how it wasn't the only iconic Playstation character he had a hand in creating.
