    RIP Anthony Sher. One of the great actors of the twentieth and twenty- first Centuries. “To an actor, dialogue is like food. You hold it in your mouth, you taste it. If it’s good dialogue the taste will be distinctive. If it’s Shakespeare dialogue, the taste will be Michelin-starred”3.11.21.🙏☀️🌻🇬🇧🙏

    The best actor most non-British people have never heard of. Like the late Alan Howard. Tony is the actor as psychiatrist; very internal, very thoughtful. I thought he was a bit TOO thoughtful for Falstaff; gave him almost too much of an internal life.
