Bark! Dude! I think the really hard part of reviewing, (and is one of the reasons I don't do it), is WHO ARE YOU REVIEWING IT FOR? Most of the cheap stuff out there is NOT professional, that doesn't mean it's not usable, it doesn't mean it's not a good product to learn from, it doesn't mean it may not fulfill your use case, but I may not be booking clients with it. Not sure why I decided to comment, probably the hour and some character defect of mine. Love your reviews and insight. peace

I just can't imagine a big market for a cheap USB handheld. I feel like people will choose pretty much any other form factor to be on-screen. Sounds really bright to me too.

What surprised me is off axis rejection…may be a great option for people needing that budget entry level hand held and need to knock down a/c window units, and fans. Curious to see how it helps with room noises. Definitely gonna review it now. 👍🏻

One cool thing about it…is that it’s the first usb mic I’ve discovered that has no coloration built into the circuit. Uploading capsule swap video now

I keep meaning to ask what is that shock mount you are using for your handhelds. I've seen it on quite a few of your videos and I like to look of it better than most of the handheld dynamic shock mounts.
The sterling sm5…got two of them for $5 apiece recently. Keep an eye on musicians friend for sales!
Too bright, too crispy, and too thin in the bass. The mic, not you, Bark. Up-close proximity effect helps.
Yeah…only the price and the fact that the monitoring is decent saves it a little
What mic is the most clear cause I have the fifine k688 and it sounds clear and perfect but need a new mic that is better at cutting background noises better and in the 100$ park

I hate your voice with the tonor... It's like you're talking with your nose. Too bad, I really have the impression that you are speaking into a low-end headset microphone. Still, for the price perhaps... I have the impression that you are recommending a bm800 as valid and there for having had a bm800, no no no, it's not possible. For me, it's a 4 on your BBSAR not a 5. On the other hand, the sound rejection, the mute button, the rainbow light, I would say the sound of the grip, all that It's ok but there's nothing to do, what I hear and listen to is more important than the rest. Thank you again for this video, congratulations for your work.
