I really like this series! I'm a middle-aged dude who just got Minecraft and these 5 episodes have taught me more about this game than any tutorial videos that I've watched this far. Cannot wait for the next video & I agree with this other comment saying that this should turn into 200 episode series!

tip: You can zombify the librarian enough times at a point where he sells you a bookshelf for the same amount as a book. This way you buy the bookshelf, then mine it and get 3 books which you can sell for 3 emeralds
These are the types of series we don’t see anymore. I wasn’t watching Minecraft ten years ago so I missed out on like Etho’s let’s play series and others like it. I feel like this is a series a lot of people can get attached to.

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind a longer version of these episodes. Maybe an uncut version? It’s so awesome watching you as you build through this world from only one chunk. I’m genuinely obsessed with this series.

Exploit note, if you expand the nether by the same factor instead of 1/8th you have a way out of the world border you've set up. Actually, you might have a method even if the nether was 1/8th the size of your overworld.
So, nether portals, ever gone thru one, and found it generated a fresh overworld portal instead of linking to the one you entered from? I have, its usually annoying. Turns out portals only 'remember' what portal they're linked to for about 15s after something travels through. After that? They use some search logic to find a portal, or a place to put a fresh one. Going through a nether portal built on the edge of your nether has decent odds of generating a fresh portal outside your world border (assuming the presence of a world border doesnt tweak the code of how that works).
Not sure if that's something that bugs u, something you'll want to use for a 'content moment' or just a case where you'd consider creative mode or some save/chunk editing to clean up after an unexpected derp.

Just be careful expanding the nether the exact same amount of blocks. If you place a portal it might accidentally send you outside your border since 1 block in the nether is 8 blocks in the overworld. So if you expand it 6 blocks for episode 6, you can travel 48 blocks away from your border in the overworld.
If the portal is within 32 blocks of another one it will link up with the original one so it's fine for now i think
Woah I hadn’t thought of this. I wonder what happens if you try that? What happens to the world if you somehow get outside the world border?

What if the nether world border expanded X8 faster? (idk if you can have separate size world borders)
if u build the portal at the edge of the nether border i think it will spawn at the edge of the overworld even if the coords don’t line up
This is by far another great series after your hardcore and I love it because even though its only 5 blocks, there's soo much to do. Plus the editing is insane.

I love how it transfers over to the nether too. A lot of RUclipsrs when doing challenges like this make the nether just like normal. Love the attention to detail
The world border also being in the Nether is an automatic thing, like he didn't do anything to add it

So, this is more so a question than a suggestion, but because of the Nether's whole, 1:8 scale thing, would you be able to use the Nether to escape the world border? Like, currently it's probably too close, so it would just teleport you to the same portal, but, if it were a bit farther from the original portal, what would happen?
well it should be possible , but i strongly doubt he'll try that since it will obliterate the main feature of that gameplay

At this rate, it'll be 50+ episodes before you are able to get to the stronghold, considering the nearest portal spawns about 1408 blocks from spawn and you continue expanding the border by the episode number.

Just curious how this works - since you travel 8 blocks in overworld per block in nether, if you place another portal it'll take you out of bounds. have you just agreed to only use the 1 portal? or would it automatically bump you back in bounds?
If you are outside of the border you start taking damage. So he would most likely die. I know there are some ways to glitch through it where you don't take damage, but I'm not sure if a nether portal is one of them.
It's also possible it just puts the portal at the closest spot within the border

To be honest I really enjoy fishing in Minecraft, it’s quite relaxing to do it while listening to a podcast. I had a world with a lake facing the sunset so I could watch night fall as I fished, and it becomes exciting once you start getting some good stuff.
I love the effort you out into your videos, and the editing is just on point. One of my fabiritie series by far!

I really don't know what it is, but Wadzee's videos are just so much more enjoyable then others.
In Java, enchanting tables have given a light level of 7 since 1.18 (specifically snapshot 21w37a). Bedrock version already has the enchanting table emit light so they wanted both versions to be consistent

I love this series! The little things you normally get in a world on your first days now seem like genuine achievements, and it's exciting to get there. Like the nether wart - normally you just run up to it, grab it, and you're all set. Now we look at it for a few episodes until it becomes available and unlocks potion brewing, and it feels like a big thing, because it simply wasn't possible previously!
I may have to try a challenge like this too, it looks like a lot of fun even with the more boring parts, like fishing for hours!
I've been having really bad cases of anxiety crisis lately, i can't finish my work when it's due and it gives me even more anxiety but taking the time, in peace, to make myself a meal and eat it while watching one of your videos really calms me down, i really love them there's just something about them that is so soothing !
I really really hope you're doing better, you deserve to feel good, you do, and I really hope you don't feel any guilt about not posting anymore because as the comments say, you can take a break as long as it needs to be for you to get better, you deserve it, as anyone should !

Enchanting tables have given off light level 7 since 1.18 on java, 1.17 on bedrock. Before that, right the way back to their introduction to bedrock, they gave off light level 12 on bedrock for some reason.
